  1. Hope everyone has a nice day today. Enjoy the fireworks should you see them tonight (or later this weekend if your city is holding things off until then).

I really like the idea, so i support and seconded the motion.
  3. unfortunately i will be not be joining you guys this weekend. Between work and a couple of celebrations i have to go too, the rest of my time will be used for sleep... Enjoy the new summer events.
  4. Envy can grab the snipe...rad blast has a snipe...
  5. I pm'd ara yesterday...summer blockbuster sounds fun so i would be down for a night of that. If there is no lock out on the io reward table or at least for that option then we should be able to 3-4 at least.

For the itrial Mobadges: MoBaf and MoLambda are good as gold as long as people listen, and i think its safe to say that the majority have ideas and no what to do. The key stressor will be to make sure we have enough debuff/psy damage for Molamba. MoDD is also easy if people listen, the important part would be to make we know the magic order for the recues. Last time, we kinda confused our selves there. MoUGT again possible, provided we get snipes...i know i can respec envy to grab the snipe but may not have the proper damage for being a defender. Mo Keyes, hearding cats will be the biggest challenge. Maybe have four people with the TP incarnate power, and have them stand in the four corners of the truck depot...and use the tp power to gather everyone when we see the prompt? MoTPN will be fine...MoMoM will require healers/people who know what they are doing.

Do we have an idea as to however many nights we want to run this? We most likely will need two-three...

    Possible Schedule:
Night One: Apex and/or Tin Mage, Lambda, Baf.
Night Two: DD, Keyes, and UGT.
Night Three: MoM, TPN, and Magi...
  6. its early...i need coffee...sorry i missed last night. work kept me late. i should be there tomorrow...will be absent friday...due to work...door prizes sound cool. i can look in rock and roll and see what enhancements we have left over. other wise i can poke around and try to find some spare inf or merits i don't need. now back to finding coffee.
  7. i so second the itrial extravaganza...
  8. i will be absent again tomorrow...but will try to log in and say hi depending on the hour. Incase i don't though, for those that read this have a good week.
  9. unfortunately i wont be there on friday...stupid summer job that pays for coh...so kick some magi butt. I maybe there sunday but wont know for sure until friday/saturday.
  10. So far my record of magi trial is 3/5 on yang...the hard part being the fight with tyrant...most people do all right with the first half of tyrant fight. but when the favor of well kicks in with the bonus regain + people dead/stuck in hosp limbo/lack of dps when scattered from crazy lighting patches of doomith = stalling tyrants health between 20-30% until somehow we land a crazy spike that brings him between 10-20%. On one run, we had six (one being myself) just staying near a light well thing. It worked in giving us the level shifts but i was rewarded with only the ten threads option. Maybe it would be best to have two people from each team on lights only (either a rezer of somesort or a person who has spare temp rezzs to spare who can bounce around rezzing between lights being up). I would suggest people bringing rebirth destiny for the heals, barrier with rez would be useful....

Sorry starry, what i ment...most of my toons on justice has a T4 destiny/lore. I did not mean everyone should bring a toon who has T4 destiny/lore. As long as people have the level shifts, completion of a normal run should be possible. The question will be do we have enough damage to handle tyrant.
  12. my only restriction is i have to be up super early sat morning. so i will be departing as close to 10:00 p.m. est as possible. Otherwise i can bring whomever we may need. MP earth has t4 barrier and i think rebirth...MP Guns should be similiar. Ideally everyone at least has t4 lore/destiny.
  13. i have no problems trying for the really hard way.
  14. free options no matter the outcome should always be considered. Therefore i don't object to a dark affinity/dark miasma combo.

    I also don't object to a mix/free-for-all group so the TW/Elec can reach 50.
  15. I too am in favor of the don't tell what you be bringing to the party. In general i don't have a strong pref as for what the next theme is...so i will vote however i am feeling when i vote or unless a strong arguement is made and i remember said argument.
  16. I don't know how many options are allowed in the poll program/website ara uses, but would it be fair to summarize that the following are the leading ideas:

A single AT/single powerset option such as fire blast/* corrs only.
A general theme option such as dark 2.0.
A single power set option such as the dark affinity and/or dark miasma.

Trick Arrow has been done (before i joined the fun). Plant and poison not yet but maybe held off until more info of what nature affinity entails.
  18. Nice work on the suggestions...alot to think about.
The following idea kinda popped into my head for a possible melee team idea: all scrapper shield defense.

    Although i haven't done any numbers...some pros:
uses an AT that has been rarely used in previous teams (if i recall correctly).
Some stacking of the PBAoE defs buffs (again i havent done numbers so it could be pointless or so small does not matter).
Little clicking...only have to make sure you hit the mez protec power. The "oh crap" +res power is kinda optional. Rest of the powers are toggles or auto.
Body mastery can help with any end problems.
Would require some team tatics: lack of heal, smaller numbers, everyone would have to be all sparta like and stick togeather should we up diff/spawn size so the buffs stack.
Most important pro: icon order would always be the same so my ocd would be not trigger.

    Cons:
Only the scrapper AT allowed. Side notes: This of course can be opened up to brutes and tanks if we wanted. But i figured tanks: have an easier survivablity, but lower damage out put. Brutes: if all brutes, then fury may not build as easily so output would not be maxed. Scrappers woud allow a challenge (since lower defs numbers/and def powers are later levels) and at least provide a constant damage all around with the occasional crits. Stalkers are sorry out of luck.
Shield Defense only allows one handed weapons so really all new shinies (staff, TW, and all new dark stuff) are out other then street justice but even then people may not have bought that.
Shield Defense has been around awhile, so that in itself isnt all shiny as it could be.

Again: food for thought for the next theme.

All though we did the darkness theme, a darkness 2.0 if you will is certainly an option. My suggestions and ideas for that would be:

if free for all AT: maybe play as an opposite AT (in my case, i was ranged so i would role melee). Gives us a different feel or route to play.

If not free for all AT: limit it to either trollers and doms for a "...in the darkness, smite them" concept. Blasters did get a late start when dark balst was released, but i think those that did join with a somthing dark blaster did hit fifty or close too. The Dark Affinity trollers got and the numbers posted by deacon make a nice presentation for a DA theme. But i kinda rolled two trollers for the time team, thus i am controllered out for the moment. So doms would be a nice change...a little more pewpew would be had. However, i do have have a troller idea in mind should an all dark affinity theme win out. And of course my icon ocd would be at ease since all icons would be purple.

So literally, Number 24, Number 25, Number 30, etc. The first costume uses a black/white Vanguard outfit that can have one or two pieces with a different color, or a different costume piece. I could go into the background, but it's really not necessary.

So you get a team where everyone's AT is the same, has a very similar name, and costume. With powers colored nearly the same. It's a touch confusing to keep track of who's who to begin with, but you get used to it. Imagine taking a team like that to an iTrial, or a Ship raid.

Maybe you could do something along those lines.
For base decor we turn to EF...
For Costumes, we turn to... I think starry (B. Movie Janet and her wardrobe rotation comes to mind).

I really, really, really like this idea. i think we should consider it.

Containment works for everybody on team and scourge kicks in a <50% health. This would allow people some freedom of choice in deciding what they would like to bring to the party. In fact, if the hive mind did agree to this option, I think that we shouldn't reveal what powersets we chose. The logic behind this is with other groups people chose powersets that complemented the rest of the group. Not knowing would add an element of chance.

I will confess that part of my suggesting this is I'm burnt out on playing a single target buffer. If I was to chose to play another buffer, it would be AoE like cold.

This is just my 2 inf. Any thoughts?
I like this idea, namely i don't have corr yet on the server. I also like the idea of keeping what we made a secret.

It was fun! i feel so powerful with my near perma-PA...Now i feel like i gets to brag that i tanked (somewhat) LR on pride and now yang. Granted, i did use my barrier since the group was by the web-core things and i didn't want aggro to spill over when the PA was gone for that split second.
  23. k, just wanted to make sure. i was checking in on a couple of toons, and i was like hey someone needed that. but anywho, glad that issue is solved.
  24. quick random question: who was it that was looking for a hamidon goo? did you get one? if not, i have one on a toon on justice...i know i do cause i remember seeing it, but now i don't remember which toon...but once i find (again) i can email it to myself or whomever once i know who you are...i want to say it was PC...but not sure.
