  1. Looking at why people from Paragon were here would have to wait for a little longer, as when her work was done, the glow ceased and Sue practically collapsed onto the floor of the office. A few deep breaths later she was able to push herself up from the floor.

“There… done… all done… why… why don’t you tell me why there’s… Paragon natives here… and just what the hell you’re doing with them?”

Sue continued to try and catch her breath, but it’s fairly obvious she’s not going anywhere or doing anything for some time.
  2. With the Jills soothed and once more all nice and linked together, with nice soothing comfortably thoughts reverberating around their links, Sue moved on to the next step.

Still sat motionless in the presidents office Sue begin to ask for help, from the Jills and from the psychic collective she already centred, asking the hundreds of buzzing minds to help lend her their strength.

In the office Sue’s hair began to drift as though under water, and her head began the glow a faint purple, as waves of powerful concentrated psionic energy began to radiate out, performing on a large scale her actions with the single man before. Grabbing three dozen minds at once, brining the burning light of hope to cleanse the ingrained command and moving on, it would take a long long time to help all of Oceana, but Sue was commited to her path now.
  3. Sue quickly sat down, shifting into a lotus position on the floor, not saying a word, no doubt confusing the president a fair bit.

But there would be time for explanations later, Sue was far too busy relaxing her mental defences, letting her mind drift to each of the little bubbles of fear, which made each Jill so much easier to find, offering each on the chance to have Sue tie them all together mentally once more, but not simply doing without asking, always it would be the Jills choice.
  4. “But here you were, city with loads of psychics in, and you were more concerned with luring people to your island or enacting your policing system in a world it doesn’t work in, but really, could we get all the Jills together and awake? I’m going to need a boost that size to help out he whole city”
  5. Sue boggled at the president, “What do you mean? Have you never even thought to try? You have yourself a small army of psychic children you actively train and use to manipulate minds, and it didn’t occur to you to try and undo it permanently”

She sighed, looking a bit tired, “And I can’t help everyone, not on my own… maybe if I had some more psychics, and we worked together…”
  6. Sue’s hand slid off the mans forehead, and she stepped back with a sigh, that took a bit of doing.

“There, see permanent fix, doable, what you should have done from the start, now how am I going to do that to the entire city…”
  7. So simple. It really was, almost elegant in its simplicity, if Sue would ever allow herself to complement such monstrous work at any rate. Yet simplicity had strength, something complicated would be easy to disrupt, to collapse in on itself.

This was pure unadulterated hate and psychic energy forged into a simple one word command, not what Sue had been expecting at all.

However, just as she refused to even consider a compliment to the work, she likewise refused to give up on fixing it, lighting the fire of hope on top of the dull red command, feeding the brilliant blue flames with orange strands of compassion, trying to burn the command straight out of this mans head.
  8. Sue grumbled quietly to herself as she made her way over to the man laying on the bed, so much was wrong here, why was it always so hard to get the right thing done?

Regardless, Sue places her hand on the vacant mans forehead, letting out a soft sigh, “If you’ll keep distractions to a minimum please?”

Without waiting for a response Sue eased her mental barriers, gently letting her mind seep into the mind of the almost comatose figure and starting her search for psychic damage, it was done psychically after all, that’s what everything pointed to, just a case of working out what and how to reverse it…
  9. “Damage -I’ve- caused? Yo- right I’ll just stop myself there, repairs can be made to your island but as of right now we have a bigger concern don’t we? I’m going to need to see one of the people affected by this lack of will to live issue inflicted on you”

Sue paused, starting to pace, “Then I can see what the damage is and how easy or hard it’ll be to undo for good”
  10. “Fine, but you stay still where I put you okay? I have enough on my plate helping these people without worrying about you running off” Sue aid as she pushed herself through to the eye of the ice storm, looking a little blue and frosty coated, she none the less offered Jack a hand, ready to teleport him to a nice high spot on the island.

Then she planned to go back to the President, and start helping these people before something else went wrong.
  11. “And if I let you keep doing whatever it is your dong down here you destroy the whole place and everyone dies, you don’t leave me with much of a choice do you Jack?”

Her fingers were starting to go a little numb due to all the ice being flung around, but Sue wasn’t about to let that stop her.

“Just stop the destruction Jack, we can go find a nice place to rest with your sister, get these people all fixed at last, there’s no need to damage anything else”
  12. ... but there are 5 Origins

Magic, Science, Mutation, Tech and Natural.

The patrons don't fit that theme, and the patron powers wern't designed with strict co-herance to character concept in mind, heck being entirly optional for one thing :P

RP wise picking a patron in Arachnos isn't about doing it to get some nifty pwoers, it's about deciding who you stand with in the organisations, the pwoers are optional fringe benefits of said decloration.
  13. Shielding her eyes with a hand, and with her white hair buffeted around and almost lost against the icy background, Sue strode forward.

“It’s over Jack, they’ve given up, the Jills won’t listen to them any more and the people responsible are going to stand trial, there’s no need to destroy anything more, no one has to die here Jack!”
  14. Or for the patrom arc you could just wind up prefering to work with Sirocco as opposed to the alternatives?

Or mabye to work on all that wonderful Magitech Arachnos has!
  15. Welcome to the wonderful world of fudge Berzerker.

Just because the ext on the power for example says it's Mu Lighning doesn't mean you have to RP it as Mu Lightning, it could just be an extension of his electrical powers.

Take for example a Grav/ controller, offically you're manipulating gravity, but you could fudge it as Telekinesis or a tanker using WP/ to fudge for regen.

So just don't feel you have to be constrained into how things exactly are in game mechanics for your RP explinations :P
  16. Sue gave the President an icy glare, the quiet terrifying kind of glare that only a woman who could utterly destroy you by thinking hard enough could give, coupled with hints of disapproval.

“No one dies today” She stated before once more vanishing a flare of light, seeking out the thoughts and locations of someone she was very annoyed with at this point, the person she had arrived at the island with, Jack Wolf.
  17. “Oh yes, because I’ve forcibly gone into your head and –made- you give the order to stand down haven’t I?” Sue spoke with her anger no longer hidden.

“And I certainly took advantage of being immune to the mass psychic alteration of humanity to propel myself into a position of leadership, justifying this by creating an army of children to enforce my will didn’t I? Or was that you hmm?! You’re far worse then the Wolf you claim to be better than.”

And with that Sue placed the President back on the ground, surprisingly gently considering her anger.

“Longbow ships are on their way, you and who ever else is in charge here will be taken into custody until an investigation is complete, at which point you’ll be put on trial at the UN, probably for crimes against humanity, the law will deal with you properly, so lets just get ready for Longbows arrival mmm?”
  18. Well Thought Sue as the water finally began to try and force its way past her lungs Not what I had hoped for, plan B time

And with that she vanished in a flash of light, a long moment past as manipulated water held where it was, being the perfect size to constrain someone who was no longer there.

After another long session there was a flash of light from behind the President and her desk was hurled with some force into the Jacks, while the President herself was yanked up rather harshly into the air, held there telekinetically by the orange clad woman standing where the desk used to be.

“Last chance, call them off or I tear down this monstrosity the hard way”
  19. Sue’s expression hardened, but other then that her expression didn’t change, despite the immanent threat of drowning.

“I like to think I’m a kind understanding woman who tries her best to do the right thing” Sue said as the water crept steadily towards her mouth “But you’re –really- beginning to push me here”

With that she began to radiate the simple subtly psychic suggestion towards the Jacks, that they were very tired and need to lay down and take a nap, everything would be fine when they woke up, they just need that nap.

Flinching with pain as she caught a backwash from the Jills, so once more delved into hier shared mind, her idea was worth a shot anyway.

Username ‘Hubbard’, Access Code “Once Upon a Time”, Punishment Off she broadcast into the network, hoping that it would stop that madness.
  20. Sue watched and waited, being polite, letting the little web of people tell them what they did before she began.

She started by showing them the world outside Oceana, of people who don’t have to be made happy, a world of fun and friends where they could make their own choices not just be told what to do. And then Sue moved on to show them what was happening here, about how they were being used an manipulated by the few immune people, who were making them act exactly like the Big Bad Wolf from all their fairy tales, how they were being manipulated to alter things about people that shouldn’t be altered.

Finally to punctuate it all, Sue nudged the mind of the Jill she had rescued not long before, so that Jill could also tell them all this, show them Sue was telling the truth and show them what had happened to her in the city.

Sue hoped it would be enough, especially as she was appealing to he doubt sown in the Jills previously.

Please let it be enough Sue thought to herself in a closed off portion of her mind please let them see the lies and horrible acts they’ve been tricked into doing, please don’t make me have to fight them

    It Begins

    Not really...

Also how are we supposed to know what you're doing if you don't tell us?

It's not like most of us check every topic in every forum after all.

Indeedy, it's just the Kheldian's master of energy manipulation letting them transform into an energy based duplicate of a previous host.

  23. Sue smiled down at the adorable little girl, “Maybe, but can you let me into your head sweetie? We can talk and learn about each other so much quicker that way, meaning we can get on with this without delay, and you can see if I’m being honest or not too!”

And all the while, Sue readied her own mental network, a veritable army of psychics standing by to teleport in should something go wrong, and the sweet little voice of a girl who could very easily pass as a sister to the one speaking to her was brought to the front, and Sue braced herself, it was almost showtime.
  24. Sue let the whips coil around her arms and legs, sighing softly to herself, “Ah, I get it, you’re fine with the way things are because it gives you justification to rule gotcha”

She looked down at her rather constrained self, “Well it looks like you got me, could I have a brief chat with a Jill about what I’ll be teaching my future kids then?”
  25. “I’m offering to try and help undo changes that were forcibly made to you all, why would that be a bad thing? Or do you like getting your mind tweaked all the time?”

Well Jacks gone, how typical Sue thought to herself so hard to help people sometimes

“Now, we still don’t need to fight here, I just want to help no need for anyone to attack anyone here” She said as she relaxed her defensive posture, trying to make herself look as harmless as possible.
