Are you not getting it? The Launch date is Monday - always has been (at least since they announced a Launch date). The 2-day head start is merely a bonus for those players who pre-ordered the game.
Monday may be an odd day to start a launch, but given that it is also Halloween, a fitting start day considering the subject. I have played a few MMO's where the game was available a day or two before launch, it's really not that big a deal - I'd rather have a game I'm interested in playing a day or two before it can be played, then have to wait a few days after the game goes live because of problems in shipping (either through online order or B&M).
