I was wondering what you all thought of an Emp/IB fender. Seems like a pretty good combo, but would love to hear from all of you who play this AT. Any thing I should skip? Anything that's a must take? Pit falls? Or pros and Cons?

Tanker Tuesday reloads to Victory this coming Tuesday, Ocotober the 26th! Tanker Tuesday is a player run all Tanker AT teaming event. We run TFs, Trials, missions and about everything else the game has to offer. All power sets and levels are welcome, as long as you're a Tank!
So, if you don't have a Tanker, now is the time to roll one up! If you've already got one, come join your fellow Tankers in the Paragon mayhem that ensues when a group of Tanks get together!!

We meet in King's Row by Independence Port Gate at 6pm PDT\9pm EDT to set teams and get rolling.

So far we don't have a TF set and I believe we'll be in the midst of the Halloween Event...so let me know what you'd like to see. The Abandoned Sewers Trial is fun with all Tanks, min level is 38, so maybe that... Let me know and we'll get it posted.

Another fun TT comes to a close. Thanks all for coming to the event, we ran a Citadel team of six and finished in an hour and twenty three minutes and change. Nice run and a good time too. As Hyper said in the Freedom thread not even Vandel could withstand the crush of Tanks!

I was a bit late to the event and had chat window issues, so I couldn't keep up on the TankHQ chat, but know we had a missions team running as well.

Thanks for the screen shot Hyper, that was fun TF! And even with my chat window leaving halfway through we still smashed our way through the council without much issue. Heck, not even Witty died.

We had a good turnout last night. Enought to field two Katie Hannon teams and missions team as well. Katie was a bit of a pain during the defeat 10 times part of the TF, but both teams were able to knuckle through and complete the TF. Great job all! I had a lot of fun on TF.

Our costume/theme contest winners were:

1st place Arti' Kanna
2nd place Thunderstrike Spirit
3rd place Mechanized Legacy

A big thanks to all who came to the event! The TTJ event will be our "Winter Meltdown" in January, 10 guesses as to what the theme is there...

No worries Steel, my toon is only level 5 and from the coverstaion I had with Philly the lower the level the better (adds a certain amount of silliness to the whole thing).

Get you're theme/costume ready and come join the fun.

I know Philly was able to unlock Katie, and I'll try to get it done before Tuesday as well. If we could get some others to who either have it already or can unlock it in time for the event to lead teams that would be great!

I'd also like to thank everyone who came to the vigil last night and express my best wishes to all the folks and families affected by the "shifting of resources". Best of luck all I've really appreciated and enjoy all the work you've put into the game.

I agree with what most of the other posters have said, and I agree with Sail that if you're looking for the Ice Patch to keep the goons the Burn Patch it's probably no longer necessary/as necessary as it has been post I5. But it does provide an additional layer of damage mitigation (layers = good). And you could always respect for more Single Target Damage if/once you get your Defenses up.

So, if it looks like a fun combo and/or you have a concept you want to go with, I'd say go for it.

If you want to give it a look before you try, Tanker Tuesdays are a good place to go.
