  1. Personally I feel a Stalker can survive without anything except Hide and Assassins stike. Placate is almost a requirement too.

I don't hvae build-up in my build. I considered Stamina too important so Build-up was dropped. I'll probably try respeccing (on test) when Endurance SOs are availble to me, and see if I can survive without it. For the moemnt though , at level 22 I don't have it and havent really missed it, and a I don't feel gimped since I've soloed Elite Bosses a couple of times.

    E.V.I.L. Returns

To try to avoid confusion (probably way too late already):

E.V.I.L (Every Villain is Loveable) can be found here.
E.V.I.L. (European Villanous Immorality League) can be found here.
E.V.I.L. University can be found here.
EVIL don't appear to have a website but do appear to be recruiting heavily in game.

Please note that although all four groups appear to have similar names that may be all they have in common.

/em cries and wishes they'd picked a different names

  3. The European Villainous Immorality League (EVIL)

EVIL is not so much a supergroup as a Super recruitment agency. EVIL exists to put the Criminal Mastermind in touch with potential henchmen, find cash strapped criminals jobs to do, and allow potential employers access to a pull of meta-powered individuals who don't mind being contracted for morally dubious work. We do not attempt to govern our contacts, many would be most upset if we were to even try, but we do insist on two rules.

    1) If you accept a contract you complete it.
    2) If the contract involves financial recompention you pay a 5% cut to EVIL for putting you in touch with your employer/employee.

Most members of EVIL can be divided into three categories:

    1) EVIL employees, like Whirlmeister, are paid dirrectly by EVIL to perform administrative or Security functions.
    2) Employers, like Nelson Movian, who use EVIL as a source of additional resource when his Zombies aren't quite enough.
    3) Contractor, like Screaming Weirdo, who are happy to hire out their particular talents.

Some are a little more complicated. Lost Pharoh associates with us to make use of the superb library for arcane research (at a small fee). Demon Djinn takes petty contracts whilst he builds up enough resources for his own personal army, and other don't talk about why they are with us.

EVIL in the Rogue Isles is a "franchise" agency. Our headquarters are in London, and now run by Mr Gray. We have a rich history, which is detailed on the website.

In game we can be contacted through Whirlmeister, Demon Djinn, Nekokaburi, Lost Pharoh, Nelson Movian, Manchine, or TerrorRat (all of whom have rights to invite ou to the group).

We have 35 character, played by 17 real roleplayer, and of those 16 have logged in in the last 3 days (the other one is away in Ireland) so they are all active members. We are expecting to pick up another 4 roleplayers in the next couple of days through the merger with The Marauder club.

    Cheers,

P.S. The EVIL background stems from a need to come up with something which could tie as many different villains together as possible. The first issue was that many Villains would not take well to any sort of command structure, hence we had to come up with something where most members weren't answerable to anyone, yet where there were some sort of contractual binds. EVIL places a clear hierarchy in place for actual EVIL employees, but most SG members aren't actually EVIL employees - they are just possible contractors or Employees on EVILs books. EVIL is a resource these guys can use. Hence the idea of the Meta-human temping agency seems to work well for villains.
  4. It can be hard to find Roleplaying groups, and in CoV they appear to be particularly thin on the ground, so I thought it might be worth starting a thread for those looking for them. I know of:

    The European Villanous Immorality League
Contact Whirlmeister, Demon Djinn or Nelson Movian on Union

    The Wolf Syndicate
    Contact Dark Diva on Union

    The Brotherhood of Shadows
Contact Lo-pan in game on Union

    The Concord
Contact Doctor Macavity or Professor Prion on Union

There also used to be The Marauder Club, but they are in the process of merging with The European Villanous Immorality League.

Could someone who knows a little about each of these, or about any other CoV RP SGs please post a liitle about them below. Also, for those poor unfortunates on Defiant - are there any Villain RP groups over there

  8. European Villains Immorality League is now recruiting

We are hoping to be a friendly, mature, roleplaying supervillains group. The background theme for the group will be a European central clearing house for contracts, jobs and aquisitions which is making it first careful advances into the dangerous world of US Supers (and Paragon City / the Rogue isles and all that goes with it).

The preference would be that character work having used the agency in its European guise at so point in its past into their backgrounds somewhere.

We will be a casual group, meaning that people will not be required to do anything they dont want. The primary aim is to have fun, and we have no right to spoil yours by structuring it the way we want. We will however insist that members respect others roleplay and dont cut across roleplaying encounters with OOC chat.
If you are interested contact Whirlmeister or Demon Djinn in game, or PM me here.
