Hey guys, guys meaning anyone who actually remembers my name. Decided to jump back in to good old CoH after a couple months of being away at TOR.

Now, most people who've seen me post around here should know that I am the kind of player who loves creating concepts and RP'ing with my toons almost more than I enjoy the actual game. I've always kind of stayed in the shadows as far as the forums as concerned, watching for any groups or events that seem interesting, but not really posting much. That's probably not going to change, but I did want to make an effort this time to get involved with some stuff.

Basically, what I'm asking is this: Are there any RP-heavy SG/VGs, regular teams, or anything like that going on that I could possibly get involved in? I'm up for whatever, as long as it's RP-related. Advertise yourselves here!

Also, I went to the first meeting or something of the server-wide Virtue RP group thing, how is that going? It seemed like a great idea back when I saw it.

Hey guys, Necris here again. Sorry to keep jumping in and out...I'm gonna be back in the game for a while, still room for me on the team? I would probably create a new guy(again), and try to get him up close to wherever you guys are now in terms of level. I enjoyed Hito-Kori while the split personality was going on, but I kind of wrote myself into a corner with his development/personality after that, and I honestly lost interest in him after that.

Kori stepped forward into the ethereal abyss, his wings folded down against his back as the mixed flecks of ice and fire lazily drifted past him. "All right, Hito, come out of your little hiding place! I know you are here somewhere, and the time has come for us to have a talk."

Nothing happened for a few seconds, but then a pillar of fire erupted a few yards away from Kori, and his other half materialized in, appearing in the midst of the roaring flame.

"What makes you think I'd wanna talk to you, you soft-hearted *******?" Hito growled, his trademark smirk present on his face as he stepped out of the already-dying flames. "Why the hell did you stop me tonight?"

"You fool. What would we have gained by fighting against Shakeup, except the rest of the team as enemies?" Kori answered coolly. "Did you honestly think they would follow you if you killed him?"

"Shut up!" Hito shot back, the weak flares in the air bursting to life suddenly, causing the flecks of ice to disintegrate instantly. "At least I was gonna do something! You're happy enough letting Shakeup tell us what to do and how to do it every time we're out with him!"

"No. That is not true. I simply do not object to any of the missions he sends us on." Kori replied coldly, glaring back at his other half with venom is his eyes, despite the firestorm that was quickly engulfing the space around him. "But that is not what I wanted to speak to you about. This ridiculous rivalry has torn us apart for too long. It is quickly becoming dangerous."

"'Least we agree on something." Hito answered, the fires dying down a bit. "So we also agree that I should be the one to take over, then?"

Kori's gaze hardened. "No. I believe we should come to an understanding, and share the body equally - "

Hito erupted in a fit of laughter before Kori could even finish. "Share? I don't think so." The encroaching fire quickly began to heat up and close in on Kori as he spoke. "I've had enough of you, and I just decided that I'm not dealing with it anymore!"

Trails of ice began ebbing out of Kori's eyes a second later, and he spoke back:

"NO!"

Hito recoiled slightly, and a howling blizzard suddenly appeared from the ether, ripping the firestorm apart and leaving nothing of it left. "I have had enough of you. And I'm through trying to reason with you. Now, be GONE!"

"Aaaagh!" Hito roared, the ice beginning to chip away at his presence. "It's gonna take more than that to kill ME!"

At his word, the firestorm returned, beating against the blizzard with renewed vigor.

"HITO!"

"KORI!"

"DIE!" They both roared in unison, their two elemental onslaughts colliding with each other at full force, causing a massive ethereal shockwave that knocked both of them out almost at once.

OOC: This happens just after the events of tonight's meeting, inside Hito-Kori's mind. The repercussions of this fight I will leave to your imaginations until next week.

Wednesday's cool with me, too.

Kori watched complacently from his perch on the edge of his apartment building's roof as the sun hovered over the horizon, painting the sky orange. He was contemplating the phone call he'd received earlier that day from an individual he'd never heard of from Paragon City. Maximilian Gold.

"He said he was in need of someone to fill a recently opened slot in a team of mutants..." Kori thought to himself, as the breeze drifted past him almost lazily, slightly ruffling the bandana he kept tied around his forehead. "But who is this man?"

"What do you mean, who is this man?" A second voice spoke from his conscious, sounding like an unhinged version of his own voice. "It sounds like a perfect chance for us to get in on some real action! I'm getting a bit tired of this low-key stuff - "

"I don't recall asking you of your opinion, Hito." Kori responded coolly. "I never objected to meeting the team he mentioned. I believe he said the leader was a mutant named Shakeup."

"Ah, but that's the problem with you - you think about things too much! Just go and meet these guys later this week, and don't worry about it until then! Problem solved!"

"I haven't survived this long by listening to your advice. I am going to think on this some more before deciding - "

"Think this, think that! Geez, you are so boring sometimes! And who said it's you who's been making sure we survive?!"

"Enough. I'm - "

"No, you know what? I've had it up to here with you lately. I'm taking over for now!"

"Hey, what - what do you think you're - aaaargh!" Kori grunted, transitioning from thought to speech without realizing it. He wretched violently and gripped his forehead in agony as his body temperature began to steadily rise.

A few seconds later, flames erupted from his fists as he lowered them to his side, and trails of fire began emanating from his eyes. His wings had changed color from blue to orange, and his bandana slowly fell away onto the ground.

"There. Much better!" Hito remarked maliciously, a wicked grin sliding onto his face. He reached up and forced the ends of his hair up before leaping over the side of the building and spreading his wings wide.

((Hito-Kori Ryo is my new character, a Villain, Fire/Ice Corruptor. He has split personalities that pertain to his split powers. I'm liking the character a lot more than MF so far, he'll be meeting up with you guys this week.

Thanks again for the positive feedback on my arc. I don't know if I've ever mentioned it to you guys before, but I plan on being a creative writer or creative director of some sort in the gaming industry after college, so I take very seriously any feedback on stuff I've written. I'm glad you all seemed to have enjoyed it though, and I look forward to many more months of RP goodness with you guys!))

We waited on you for a little while, but no big deal. Like Star said, the three of us just ran Dr. Kane's trial and did a bunch of ToTing.

I hit 18 and got Aim, personally, but that's about it besides a bunch of Halloween salvage.

I'm off this Thursday, so I'd be down for doing Halloween stuff.

Metal will be there, but I'm going to be running a little late - I work until 6pm tomorrow night. (On CST here)

Krystal's Virtue Verse page is up now if anyone wants to go check that out. We should be getting Zephyr's up sometime this weekend.

There's not really any specific requirements for the team, like with the Gold Corp's mutant schtick. I think it would help with fitting in with us if you're some kind of a free agent or mercenary like we are, but as long as you can explain why you're teaming up with us all the time, go wild.

Oh, is that right? I'm up for it. Would it be better from an RP standpoint to go with Zeta or to make a new guy?
