Regarding Chipotle vs Freebirds: I usually eat at Chipotle rather than FB. I like Chip's Carnitas and that the sour cream is free (everything tastes good with sour cream!). But Freebirds has some interesting choices that aren't available at Chipotle, and they serve chips with queso. Yum.

So I get off work yesterday and have time to kill before a meeting later in the evening. I run some errands and then eat dinner at Freebird's, a local burrito joint. I'm trying to work on a story I'm writing while I eat, and these 3 guys sit down at the table next to me. And for the next hour, they engage in an extended conversation about a recent computer game campaign. I'm assuming it's World of Warcraft or something similar -- druids and healers and feral armor and tanks.

FOR AN HOUR!!!!

And when I left, they WERE STILL AT IT!!!!

Sigh. Please, if there is a higher power, don't let me ever turn into that..... Posting in the CoH forums while at work is bad enough...

The first link is a great read, the one with the interview. It confirms, I think, what many of us in this forum already had been saying--namely, that Peter's dream was a dream with symbolic imagery, not an out-and-out literal prophecy.

Lots of other interesting things in that link, plus I don't think it gives TOO much away.

I still think ice arrow should be replaced with some kind of foam arrow. It would do the same thing but would be unique in terms of RP concept and graphics, and to my mind would make more sense as the kind of payload an arrow would carry.

Regarding Flash Arrow, is it just me, or does this thing NEVER draw aggro? From a playability point of view, this is great cuz you can debuff and have time to prepare your attack. But does it really make sense that you could launch an arrow into the middle of a mob, an arrow that EXPLODES with a blaze of light, and nobody does anything?

And yet, when I use other powers, like the ice arrow, they aggro before I even release the arrow. Hmmm....

What about replacing ice arrow with some kind of foam arrow. The ice concept/graphics seems so similar to other powers in the game. An arrow that releases a foam-like substance would be unique and more in-line with a trick arrow power.

Cool set. Glue arrow seems to have a worse range than the other early powers. Is this by design? I agree with others that the animation for glue arrow is not quite right. It starts off well with the white glue-looking explosion, but then it turns into some Dark Miasma looking thing. I remember running around with a small team and we noticed it and were wondering, "What's that black stuff." Heck, I had fired the darn thing and I didn't even know what it was!!!

I made a reference in the Archery set that in general, the animation for shooting the arrows is missing something, but I can't put my finger on it. Is it movement, sound effect? I don't know. Everytime I fire a shot off, I just have this ... impression of something missing.
