Morilanthi took hold of the swordhilt and used it to pull himself up. Staggering for a moment he found his balance. He whispered something in Elven with his teeth clenched.
With newfound strength he ran through the corridors and up the stairs, only to find his friends and loved ones under Elizabeth's attack. Unsheathing his katana, he slid across the lounge and began slicing away at the tentacles. -
Morilanthi staggered back against the wall. He then slipped to the ground, blood pouring down his right side before the armors healing abilities kicked in and slowly began to seal the wound.
-
To be honest, i am getting tired of this
-
Morilanthi dodged the second sword calmly and blocked the other one.
"Dont you dare mention her." He spoke with an eeire calmness in his voice.
He then aimed his sword against Swords torso and tried to cleave him. -
We dont want them to end up in the countess's office by accident.
-
The werewolf stopped and nodded to the others, as to tell them to keep walking.
He then started to grin at Sword as he made a drawing motion as if he unsheated a sword. At the moment he unsheated a katana, the werewolf disguise failed and Morilanthi were standing there where the werewolf had been standing just a moment earlier.
"Save the others, i will deal with this one." -
Joarathil nodded and ran towards the door and the intruder.
"Ah, looks like we a have guest." He said when he met the one who had caused all the ruckus.
He smirked at him and extended the blades that were hidden in the sleeves of his suit. -
Joarathil leaned against a wall and shook his head slowly.
"I may be a heartless killer.. but killing a child that cant defend itself.." He muttered to himself.
"You brought this upon yourself, countess.. looks like you will reap what you have sown. I will stay.. but not for long." He thought and started to merge with the shadows. -
A chuckle was heard and Joarathil stepped out of the shadows.
"You seem to enjoy yourself Countess, mind if i join you?" -
Joarathil jumped away from his brother and cursed in a unknown language.
"We are leaving? Cowardly vampires.. We have practically the victory within our grasps, and now we are leaving.."
He then grinned towards Morilanthi.
"Dont die.. until we meet again.. brother."
Without another word he ran away and dissapeared in the thick mist. -
Morilanthi smiled at Mary.
"I am as fast as i need to be." He answered her.
"Anything more you wish to know?" -
"I dont mind." Morilanthi smiled at them.
Morilanthi turned his face towards Mary.
"If you have any questions, young one, just ask, as i am willing to answer them." -
Morilanthi nodded at the new arrivals and smiled at them.
"Yes, i am. An honor to meet you all" He bowed at them. -
They both avoided the swipes as if it was a dance and not a fight.
"He is mine, as the Countess promised me that i would be the one to kill him. So i suggest you speak with the Countess if you have any objections.. vampire.."
The hooded person chuckled behind his mask as he looked at the both combatants.
"So good to see you again.. brother." -
"Nice to see you too Blade." Morilanthi smiled at him as he spoke.
"Looks like we are the only ones here at the moment. But i guess more will arrive soon enough." -
A dark shadow started to take shape in the mist as it came closer and closer. As it jumped out of the mist and landed between Morilanthi and Blood you could see it was a hooded person.
"He is mine.. Vampire!" The person snarled at Blood. "Find your own fight or i will kill you myself." -
Morilanthi opened the door to the Worn Cover and entered the store dressed in what seemed to be ceremonial clothing.
"Feeling nervous, Blade?" He smiled as he sensed Blade standing there. -
Morilanthi avoided the charging vampire by stepping to the side in the last moment. He then took his stance and waited.
"Draw your sword if you have one. But if you are no swordsman, do not expect to win this fight." He said calmly to Blood. -
As Morilanthi ran forth to seek cover in the church with the rest of the Nighthunters, he suddenly sensed danger. With practised intuition, he instinctively poised his elven katana which took the bullet and deflected the explosion, slicing the metal cleanly in half.
"Futile" he muttered before stepping into the safety of the cathedral.
"Guys, i think we got a shooter out there." -
"Yes, it is me." Morilanthi spoke via the amulet.
"How is the situation here? And what are the Circle of the Thorn doing here?"
Morilanthi dogded the attacks as the scientists tried to defend themselves from the new threat. -
A ruckus could be heard deep within the mist. One after the other, the glowing eyes of the possessed began to die out.
Something or someone was taking out the scientists with great efficiency.
