Newton stepped out of the elevator and wandered down the hallway. Hey, RJ, hows he doing? he asked as he entered Stings room. Have you seen the news? Crey has got a really good pr program going; we should get one, too. He smiled at the other hero. Im beginning to believe that its not what you do, its how you put a spin on it. The Two-Six needs a good spin doctor. He thought about it for a moment. The Two-Six needs a REALLY good spin doctor.
He pulled a chair up next to Sting. Hey, buddy. I got our dragon goop sample. It looks like someone is trying to create faster, stronger hydras. They combined it with lizard DNA. I think Mystic is probably going to have us sewer diving again. He glanced over toward RJ and winked. Wont that be an absolute blast. -
Newton sat in the chair across from Gregory Mulligan. The forensic scientist was a young man younger than Newtons twenty five years. Tall, handsome, blond very much the opposite of Newton he was young in the field, and had only been hired a few months before, straight out of Paragon Universitys forensic program. As low man on the totem pole, he got the shaft jobs. Which meant he got the Two Six materials. Any arrogance he had a few months ago had been knocked out of him by the job and the forensics chief Flagg.
None of this bothered Newton at all. Most of the forensics scientists were pretty full of themselves, and Newton had little tolerance for that sort of thing. Too many chances to get himself in trouble with them when hed try taking them down a notch or two.
So what is our dragon goop? Newton asked, referring to the sample he had brought in earlier.
Dragon goop? Mulligan asked, slightly amused.
It seemed as good a term for an unknown lizard thingee as any, Newton said, shrugging.
Mulligan pulled out a file. We did run several tests through on the sample. It was really quite interesting. The DNA combinations on the molecular level were intriguing. The scientist took a deep breath to launch into a detailed technical report.
Hit the highlights, Newton said, waving a hand. I wont understand most of what you say if you go all science-ese on me. Put it in words even I can understand.
Im not sure if I can go that simple, Mulligan said with a straight face.
Touche, Newton said with a grin.
There was lizard DNA in the sample, but the other part of the DNA was from get this a Hydra.
You mean those gross looking things in Perez Park.
Yep, those gross looking things. And they were obviously engineered.
Any idea who engineered them.
Im afraid not, although in this town, Crey is always a safe bet, although the Council also does quite a bit of genetic manipulation. The blond man shrugged. Heres the report, Mulligan said. Hope it helps.
Ill give it to Mystic to read, Newton said as he stood and shook Mulligans hand. Hopefully hell get something else out of it.
Newton turned and walked down the stairs just as a tall man with round glasses and long bluish white hair pulled back into a ponytail came walking up them. He nodded politely to him, and continued down the stairs.
His next stop: the hospital to check up on Sting. -
[ QUOTE ]
Within hours of the incident Crey published an apology for the misunderstanding between their agents and the Twenty-sixth precinct. The agents mistakenly thought that the heroes were attack the Two-Six and tried to protect it. A significant donation is made to repair any damages to the building itself.
As usual, not only do they get off the hook, but they even look good doing so!
[/ QUOTE ]
Do you believe this @#$@#$? Newton demanded of Mystic as he stormed into the bosss office. We end up looking like horses patooties again, and Crey smells like roses. I mean, do we look that dangerous to you? Nevermind, dont answer that. ARRG! The green-haired man stormed back out of the office, not even giving Mystic Inferno a chance to say anything. -
Oh, great. Lord of wrath, Newton murmured. How about hitting his teleportation tag. Itll take him to the hospital. He knelt awkwardly next to the insectoid and clicked the t-port tab.
((ooc: up to Grem as to whether hes teleported ))
((ooc: i read your frustrations with the resort, Steele. hope the rest of your vacation is relaxing.))

[ QUOTE ]
"This... man needs a hospital. Summon an ambulance."
[/ QUOTE ]
Newton looked up stricken. He what? He climbed unsteadily to his feet and stumbled towards the fallen insectoid. I just saw you heal Abrahms, and I even caught a dose of it. Cant you heal him? -
Newton looked up. He was at the edge of the womans power, and picked up enough healing from it that his system started to function properly again. He took a couple more bites of the chocolate bar, and sat on the curb, looking at the insectoid woman. I really think we should put a tab on her before she wakes up.

APT.: 311
Name: Scott Frost, Detective, Paragon City Police Department
Current location: Entering the lobby
Designation: Male Mutation Tanker
Storyteller: mithrilzeta
Summary: Scott is the eldest of three sons of Gregory Polcynski, aka Professor Frost I, a science-based superhero from the 1960-early 1970s. Gregory legally changed his name to Gregory Frost before his sons were born, making his sons Frosts.
Scotts is own ice generating powers developed in his teenage years, although his superstrength appeared during a crisis at his fathers Antarctic base.
Scott attended Crescent University in pre-law, but decided that being a lawyer was not for him. He then attended the Paragon City Police Academy and graduated 4th in his class.
He served was a patrolman in Steel Canyon, Atlas Park, Perez Park, and finally Baumtown. He had to clear gangs out of the Whitmore many times during his patrolman days. Has some pretty bad memories of the building. He was promoted to Sergeant while in Atlas Park, and then Lieutenant while in Baumtown.
He served with valor when the rikti invaded, and has not forgiven the gangs who still inhabit his beloved Baumtown. He has a hope that Baumtown will one day become an inhabitable area again. Hes not holding his breath though.
His two brothers Ray Frost, a blaster, and Jacob Frost (Frost Byyte)(Dont call him Jack. He hates that.), a controller - are a source of great comfort and great irritation for Scott. In other words, a fairly normal sibling relationship.
General Personality: Cynical with a soft heart. Very observant.
Appearance: 62, 180 lbs. Long narrow face and long roman nose. His long hair is white with light blue streaks and pulled back into a ponytail. Long droopy mustache. Glasses with round lenses (these frequently fog up.) He is always wearing thinsulate lined clothing to help protect those around him from the cold he generates. He frequently wears a white robe, sweatpants, and white gloves. His police badge is usually clipped to the belt to the robe. -
Gee, look at all of that ice, Newton said, reaching deep into his singularity. Its dangerous for drivers to be out unless, he paused as he pulled something massive through the wormhole, you can get the Plow King out and going. A Paragon City dump truck filled with gravel and salt appeared out seeming nothingness. The front plow caught the Queen and slammed into the building across the street from the Two Six. There was a moment of silence, and then the truck was pushed backwards and away from her. Battered, still be pelted by huge pieces of hail, the Hive Queen was still up and fighting.
Newton had gone too his knees. He clumsily pulled a chocolate bar out of the front pocket of his sweatshirt and fumbled as he tried to pull the wrapper off. Great. Now is not the time to go into diabetic shock, he stuttered as he dropped the candy bar and then scooped it back up. His shaking was getting worse, but he managed to get a couple bites of chocolate and wrapper before he blacked out completely. -
[ QUOTE ]
Yo Queeny! You want me, come get me! Sting shouted as he leapt over to get cover at the corner of the Two-Six. He saw Newton peeking through the window. Get your head down gravity boy, it might get real ugly.
[/ QUOTE ]
Keep your head down? Newton sputtered. See if I bubble your butt he growled.
[ QUOTE ]
'Ok you get her down here I'll keep her here." As the queen dove at Sting Rough Justice wated. As she went by, he ran and used a car to get the height. He came up from behind about the only place those eyes could not see him. And brought down one of his bone braking cement smashing haymakers, on a wing. The affect was emediate, she tumbled to the right the wing only at half efficiancy. Both tumbled and rolled across the street, a powerfull kick from the Queen sent RJ into and through the front doors of the 2 6.
[/ QUOTE ]
Newton dodged out of the way of RJ. He reached through his singularity again and pulled a sofa out. It accelerated at the Queen and exploded into bits of spring, wood, and stuffing as it struck her. The insectoid woman screamed, and her wings whirred, and Newton dodged the other direction as a sonic blast made the front steps of the building explode. ooo, there goes our repair budget again, Newton said he rolled back to his feet. Do you have any idea of how expensive contractors are? he demanded of the Queen.
Then again, you probably dont care, he said as he tried to increase her weight by an additional tenfold. -
Oh, my, Newton said as he stared at the Hive Queen. Are you sure you didnt mate already, Sting? She looks like she wants to tear your head off now. He threw one of his singularities at beneath her. The pull of gravity from it multiplied her weight by a ten-fold, but it barely slowed her down.
Ah, guys, shes still coming the green-haired mutant said as he started throwing bubbles up around all the heroes. -
hrm Newton thought as Mystic sent the imp off to the window. I could have sworn that imp was flaming a moment ago I must be seeing things. Too many hits on the head. He sent on of his singularities into the room he had seen the gunshots fire out of. The sound of another gunshot echoed through the wormhole and then a moment later another bullet ricocheted off his field. With a grin, Newton slammed a gravity wave at the sound.
Above them, a window exploded out, and a Crey sniper was flung into the air. The man lost his gun as he futilely waved his arms and legs in an attempt to break his fall. Newton added a little weight to him, and the sniper fell hard. The sound of breaking bones was added to the other sounds of around battle.
[ QUOTE ]
They opened up on Mystic, striking him with bullets, gauntlets and frost beams. Everything stung, even wounded him a little, but the spell made him virtually indestructible for a short period of time. Then he unleashed all of his fiery energy in one big blast. Flame tore through the cars nearby, shrouded everyone in range, and rose into a ball of flame headed skyward. Everyone on the street looked toward the Two Six.
Five charred bodies hit the street, and five Crey rifles clattered to the asphalt. The Crisis units were on fire and heavily damaged. The tanks faired better, but had still taken over half of what theyre capable of standing up to in a single strike.
[/ QUOTE ]
Wow, Newton said, staring at the charred bodies. The tanks were wavering, but Mystic looked like he was weakened as well.
[ QUOTE ]
Myriam had pursued him on foot, arriving at the tail end of the blast. The wave of heated air and sparks blew her snarled curls from her face, giving a very clear view of the black light that returned to her eyes. The trunk this time fell with a solid thunking noise to the ground, and Exodus joined Mystic in the circle of char and flame to stand beside him and lend its own particular brand of strength, with a rush of damp air like an urgent whisper.
Exodus's hands sprung forth black wreaths of vapour, a touch of death, ready for any that moved against the mage.
[/ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ]
What the ?
[/ QUOTE ]
Newton turned to see the battle damaged Sting staring at the charred area. You can say that again, Sting, Newton said, but the insectoid had leapt off to aid Abrahms.
[ QUOTE ]
The tank was obviously weakened, and a hole in his armor provided the perfect target. Sting drove a large spine into the flesh beneath the armor. The man screamed and fell. He looked up at Abrahms and Mystic. Might want to send that one directly to the hospital. He coughed a little more. We likely have incoming some nasty bug lady that wants me dead now. Tough as nails so we might want to clean up this mess and get ready! He added a quick swipe at a Crisis unit that was turning to run but it had little effect.
[/ QUOTE ]
As Newton ran towards the others reached through another singularity and pulled an old welding tank through and slammed it into the Crisis unit. A bug lady? Newton asked. Not to be offensive, buddy, but does she want you for a mate or something? And let me remind you that insect dating never ends well for the male.
[ QUOTE ]
Exodus's smile was vorpal in contrast with her conservative makeup. She had but one word, spoken in a deep-throated bemused tone while reaching out with another reviving updraft of bubbling moist air towards Sting.
"Locust....?
[/ QUOTE ]
Newton looked over at the woman in the gray dress. The inhuman voice that came out of her mouth sent a chill straight up his back. He watched look up at the sky. His eyes also followed up, almost afraid of what he would see. -
A fiery little imp hopped on the nearest skull, and the man screamed and ran away burning. Newton bounced another one up and smashed him to the ground. He grinned.
And then watched a hailstorm break out on the Skulls. His jaw dropped, and he started to laugh as the Skulls scurried around in it.
His laughing saved his life.
As he started to double over, a bullet struck his skullcap. The force of it through the heavy-set man to the ground, and he rolled down the steps. Shaking his head, could see nothing but stars and the gray outlines of his fading vision. What is it with me getting shot and taking blows to the head? he murmured as he threw his dense gravity shield up around him again. More bullets rained down on him, but the screen deflected them.
He ruefully checked his skullcap. The bullet had cracked the steel, but the Kevlar beneath had absorbed most of the impact. I still think I have a concussion, he complained to himself. Newton looked up and followed the bullets to their source. Gotchya, he said darkly and slowly forced himself to his feet, glaring at the window. -
Newton appeared in the front entrance of the Two-Six with five bags of groceries and a charcoal grill floating behind him. Rocks bounced off the building near him. Hey! he cried out as he ducked and shoved the groceries inside the building. If you guys wanted to be invited to the neighborhood Bar-B-Que, all you had to do was asked!
With a quick motion, he sent a wave of gravity at the closest Skull. The leather-bound man was flung back, and got back up growling.
Oh, that was smart, Newton, Newton murmured to himself as he threw a gravity bubble around himself. Bullets ricocheted off the force field, and the skulls pulled out there hand to hand weapons.
Newton keyed his comm device he wasnt even sure who still had one that worked and yelled into it. Skulls rampaging out front! he called out. Assistance would be appreciated! -
[ QUOTE ]
"I let you in on a secret Newton, I volunteered for this post. The guy from HI showed asking for a volunteer from my squad. Thing is the barracks were getting boring, so I said sure. I mean I am 85 i thought this would be a good way to slowly get out of the super warfare." Sighing he shakes his head and looks back to Newton. "But I have always believed that old saying, with power responsibility. So here I am until I am to old to do this garbage anymore." Patting the young man on the back, "now you know my idea of semi-retirement, what do you think" The smile obvious on his face.
[/ QUOTE ]
One heck of a retirement, Newton said, shaking his head. I dont honestly expect to live to see 85. Were not in a line of work that has great retirement benefits, either. He cleared his throat and changed the subject. Let me go fetch that food and a grill. Be right back, Newton threw himself back into a wormhole and appeared outside of the grocery store down the street. -
[ QUOTE ]
"Charcoal, better flavor and we have our own starter after all" he states laughingly. "I like a good porterhouse myself, but I am happy cooking anything on the grill.
[/ QUOTE ]
Charcoal it is then, Newton said. Im going to get myself a nice thick T-bone. Boy, Im getting hungry just thinking about it.
[ QUOTE ]
He looks over the street again as he continues speaking, and walking around the edges of the roof to check the perimeter. By the way what did your lab tech have to say about the goop. Let me guess alien origin, and where in deep doo. I think we need start actually pulling watches, until we teach these evil doer types we arent such pushovers. Could you mention it to Mystic since youre the XO. Aside from Mystic as CO and you his second, do we really have a chain of command at all? Also who is above mystic, the Chief of police or Hero Intervention?
[/ QUOTE ]
Ill mention it, but Im not even sure if the chain of command makes me the XO, Newton said with laughter. I sure dont look to be in charge. Im just a dude who can get people to get along with me. And through me, they can get along with each other. He nodded then, his laughter subsiding. You are right, though. We do need to set up some sort of watch. Ive been covering it whenever Im at the office mainly cause thats where the food is.
As far as whos above Mystic, Im not even sure. I was sent here by a crooked judge and Hero Intervention. Newton shrugged. Contempt of court. Although, really, I just have contempt of judge. -
Newton laughed as he mentally listed everything Abrahms said. Youre a man after my own heart or stomach, rather. I havent had a good grilled meal in weeks. Ill get us a grill, too. Do you prefer a charcoal or gas grill. Newton grinned even broader. Since youre volunteering to do the grilling, I thought Id give you the choice of what type.
-
The buzz of a wormhole opening sounded next Abrahms, and a moment later, Newtons Apple appeared next to the armored man. Hello, Abrahms, Newton said with a jaunty grin. Howre you doing? I finished my errands at the plaza. Im going to go head down to the grocery store before I turn in. Is there anything you would like as long as Im heading there?
-
This was what? Gregory Mulligan asked as he stared at the gooey sample. He was a dark skinned young man the low man on the CSI totem pole. Which is why he got to deal with Newtons Apple.
Im told it was a fire breathing lizard, Newton said. Sting said something about cellular degeneration, but I wasnt paying that close of attention.
You work with Poison Sting? Mulligan took off his glasses and stared at the mutant.
Yes.
And you yet live. Im amazed. The young man took off his glasses and polished them on his lab coat. He wandered over to a refrigeration unit and pulled out a couple tubes. Here, I have some antidote to his spines here. Keep them with you. Chances are youll eventually need it.
Thanks, Newton said cynically. Give us a call at the Two-Six when you have some sort of analysis for us. He turned and walked away.
You have both Sting and the Two-Six? Mulligan asked. Ill be looking for your obituary.
I dont feel better about our situation, Newton murmured as he walked out of the police headquarters. -
After Newtons Apple had finished telling Blue Steel all the coincidences that were tied into with Judge Wonker, the supercop stoically stared at the green-haired mutant. Judge Wonker has been quite busy, hasnt he?
Newton nodded. You know I cant prove any of this now, Newton said. All my notes and proof were disappeared out of the police evidence locker. The green-haired mutant made a face. Hes a judge. He has connections all the way throughout the law enforcement system. I dont know who to trust, which is why Im talking to you. He shook his head. I dont like you you are rather a straight-laced bozo with no sense of humor but you are an honest, honorable man. That, and Statesman wouldnt return my calls. Newtons eyes twinkled as he watched the supercops expression.
Ill start taking a closer look at Wonkers activities, Blue Steel said. Stay in contact. Ill contact you tomorrow. The supercop turned on his heel and marched off towards the police station.
Newton watched him go. Good bye to you, too, he murmured. He followed Blue Steel into the police station, checked the floor that the CSI lab was on, and took the elevator up to it. -
(The Ninjin) Outside you could hear a one-sided conversation that seemed to be getting pretty heated.
"No... well you tell him to take it all and shove it up his.... WHAT... no, you know what? I do for you and that a-hole any and everyday. This is what I want to do... so I think I'm going to do it. I'm living life MY WAY!"
Brian walked back into the precinct to find the lot staring at him. He looked around as if he had been caught doing a crime, looking for a way out as he put his phone back onto its clip.
"So yea...," he said, smiling nervously and breaking the silence, "I'm staying."
(Mad Gremlin) Really? I was just beginning to think youd gotten hit by a truck or something fun. Sting grinned. So someone on the other end of that phone need some acupuncture? If so Im your man. Sting said, extending a long spine from his forearm.
(Mithril Zeta) And if that doesnt work, he could experience severe weight gain to help him understand the gravity of the situation. Newton made a face. For that statement, I definitely apologize. Oye. Got to remember not to use that pun again.
(The Ninjin) "Nah, nothing to worry about. Just some prejects folks back at the head office feel they need me for. Honestly they don't. Plenty of people qualified. I realized I moved on from that. I mean, structurally this is a step down, but this is what I want. I made detective to get back in the streets, but nooooooooo. Turns out that here it's another term for paper pusher. Screw that."
(Mad Gremlin) I was just tellin these guys about the Bad Harley bar. Place is a dump, but lots of gangers hang out there. Our friend Mr. Rome seems to be a regular every Tuesday and Thursday night and usually on the weekends. He also seems to be fond of the ladies; usually one on each arm.
(The Ninjin) The Ninjin : Brian let out a heavy sigh, "Yea, I know of him. He practically lives there. Lots of background on him. Most of the girls he's with end up either [censored] or dead... but he's a good track coverer. Great in fact."
(Mad Gremlin) Oh and he has a small posse of regular bodyguards. Steroid and Superdyne enhanced more than likely. We were all just considering bringing the whole place down and thought it would be fun to do.
(Mithril Zeta) Yeah, I suppose that we should make sure that he is inside before we bring the whole place down, though. Newtons face had a thoughtful look on it. Ive lost track. What day is this?
(The Ninjin) He looked around for some of his uncle's tea, but unable to find any, so he continued, "Yea, best time to get him is in the morning. We detain him, but always have to let him go after a day or two. But in the morning after, him and his buddies are usually all hangin over and easy to deal with. Never fails. They'll be a few that stayed sober to be DF's or... designated fighters, but I've knocked em sound without an issue. Biggest issue will be the impending assault on this precinct after we take him down... infuriated mob will not be the word."
(Mithril Zeta) Gee. For a mob, well have to get more arrest tabs, Newton said with purposefully naïve look on his face.
(Mad Gremlin) Ooooh, big mob not good. So I take it Mr. Rome is a popular figure in the row. Well connected sort, above the law kind of guy. Sounds like he needs to be eliminated permanently. -
(Mad Gremlin) Sting couldnt help but grin a little bit at Newton. As much as he hated to admit it, he was kinda starting to get used to Newton.
Yeah, the place is a hole. I have lived in burned out buildings in Boomtown and the sewers that were better off than this place. If you ever order a drink there, make sure you get something in a bottle or a can and dont let them open in for you.
(Mithril Zeta) Thanks for the recommendation. Actually, you dont have to worry about that; I dont drink alcohol. It does funny things to my balance, and you dont want someone who controls gravity that badly off balance.
(Mad Gremlin) The place is definitely a gang hangout. Based on the different groups in and out of the place both Skulls and Outcasts, and probably some others it is either neutral ground or a certain alliance of folks frequent the place. I didnt get that information from the thug I beat up. Our Mr. Rome seems to be a regular though.
(Mithril Zeta) Ooo, if we take down that place, well get both gangs mad at us? Newton grinned broadly and turned to Mystic Inferno. Can we please destroy it? Pretty please? With chocolate syrup on top? He reached into one of the drawers and brought out an unopened jar of Hersheys chocolate syrup.
(Mad Gremlin) Hmmm, I like that idea; total destruction of the place. I could take a lot of frustration out on the place. And yeah, I have to be careful when I drink too. I learned the hard way that a little too much and the insect instincts take over. Not pretty.
(Dan43) "Cool. I have been wanting a chance to field test my Molecular Bond Field Disruption Unit. I never though I'd get to use it on a whole building. This is going to be great."
(Mithril Zeta) Newton grinned at Ion. 'He may be alright after all,' he thought, turning to see Mystic's reaction. -
Newton teleported to the Police Plaza and found Blue Steel in his typical spot in front of the coin.
Newtons Apple, where have you been? the super-powered police officer asked. You were supposed to meet me here yesterday.
Lets see, I was under a beauty shop, at the Two Six, in the land of the dead, and Striga Island, though not necessarily in that order.
I really dont have time for your nonsense, Apple, Blue Steel said, staring down at the shorter, rounder man. Just tell me what you have on Judge Wonker. -
[ QUOTE ]
"Heh, yeah. We'll rub a little dirt on them before we take them to the lab."
[/ QUOTE ]
Ill go ahead and deliver it, Newton said, holding out his hand to take the samples. I need to talk to Blue Steel, anyway. Newton made a face. He really doesnt like me, but he wants to talk with me about that crooked judge Wonker. The green-haired man shrugged. Blue Steel takes corruption within the system very seriously. -
[ QUOTE ]
Almost looks professional. He said as he admired his work.
[/ QUOTE ]
Are we sure we want to do that, Newton asked. I mean, we look professional once, theyll expect us to do that all the time. He flashed a quick grin at Sting. -
[ QUOTE ]
Sting opened the door and stood there, shocked. What the Where the creature had been dumped was nothing but a puddle of green goop. Well looks like they break down after a short time. He said as he knelt down to look at the puddle.
[/ QUOTE ]
Ew. That stuff is really rather disgusting, isnt it?
[ QUOTE ]
Its too bad we cant keep a science geek in this place for more than a day or two. Be nice to have someone that could analyze this stuff. I have some lab experience, but wouldnt know where to start on this gunk.
"You know I saw this in a movie once. Lots of bad things happened soon after." He looked at his colleagues. He waves his hand in front of his face, curling his nose at the pungent stink of the goop.
"If I was still in the service, base would be issuing a recall of all troops, and canceling all leave and liberty calls. Tighten watch schedules, check perimeter alarms and the like. Maybe we should just put sheet metal over the windows, which have not gotten the bullet proof glass in yet. But that would be if I was on a Post some where, just thought I might mention it." He shrugs and turns towards the door.
"I am going to get a hair cut it starting to feel shaggy." He runs his hand over his head the full thick hair the grey of his 85 years, barley longer that the thickness of his fingers. "I'll hit the showers then armor up and be on duty. I don't know if you had the chance to read my records yet. But so you know, do to my bodys regeneration rate fatigue poisons dont really build to fast so I can go long periods without sleep. That and all the military training dealing with functionality under sleep deprivation, of course. Well ill be back on in about 45." He turns and climbs the stairs 2 at a time.
[/ QUOTE ]
Newton sat despondently on the holding cell bed. So, now what do we do? Newton asked Mystic and Sting. Were back to where we were a couple days ago. Our fancy technology mostly broken down. I think Elisa, RJ, and I are the only ones who still have working comm units, and Elisa has disappeared with Max and his van. Our mini-war walls are toast. Im not even sure who all is on our active list. And we have degenerating lizards who are driving the normal sewer squatters into the streets." Newton looked up at the other two heroes with a big grin. Another typical day in the Two-Six, no?
((ooc: Took out info that Newton didn't know yet.))
