LMAO! DR I absolutely love the coh vids on your website. They are fantastic previews. I'd love to see what you could do with a longer movie-like video (stupid real life... always comin first...) I'm definitly keeping a look out for the next ones.

I hear you on the negative comments. I'm all for criticism, but it doesn't have to be disdainful. After I re-submitted and saw some things, I decided not to go back- there or here until the five were up.

I'm totally tweaked. There are some that didn't make it that I am shocked missed the cut. I thought for sure Etiquette and Star Dancer's would make it.

And it does appear that you can vote without registering... which is kind of odd. Luckily, the rules say the final outcome is ultimately up to the judges. (and we know what a stickler they are for the rules)

well that's just incredible. Eventually I will learn all the flash animation stuff. I had a hell of a time teaching myself the coding for the game. I did a few Day of Defeat videos a bunch of years back, and decided to start working on one for CoX just before the contest went up. So I stopped on that one (it contains tons of stuff I don't own... but I'm also not going to profit off of it and will credit them properly so I don't feel guilty about it) and started in on babytoons. I like them... they're cute and can show the funny newbie qualities of people just starting the game. I may continue on with them and have different episodes like, "Babytoons build their first costume", and "Babytoons get their first travel power" and have the teleporter kid keep runnin into buildings. I dunno. But it's cool to know there's a community of video people for city of heroes! It was fun doing this one. There's SO many things you can do if you just change some of the code. yeah, the sound effect of recluses voice in grandville... I had pulled that from the game, and they said it wasn't allowed. I'm not certain I got the revised version in on time. I love the visual effects of Infinite Darkness. How the hell did you get that mushroom cloud???

And the doughnuts just cracked me up. An hour later I thought about it and laughed in the middle of work, which made ppl look at me funny, but who cares

I just found this forum (I'm not much for forums or I'd have found you all sooner). Those videos are all fantastic. I did the Babytoons one, but they just emailed me saying I will be disqualified if I don't send in a new one without Recluses Voice in it. I just figured it for a sound effect but I suppose it falls under the dialouge within the game category. I should have been more careful. Hope I got the new one in on time...

The competition is amazing. I've started watching some of the videos you all have made before the contest and they're great. Are some of you in editing professions?
