Shia.
Reasons:
While I like the crisp clean lines of CR's figures, the picture has some major problems:
- The central figure's left arm, holding the flowers, looks twisted to my eye as her entire body seems to be facing in the opposite direction.
- The horned face on the left hand side is placed in a way which looks like it is growing from the shoulder of the armored figure.
- Four of the "bust" figures are obviously not looking anywhere near the central figure.
- The stage which the central figure is standing on is barely even sketched in. In fact it looks as though it was drawn with a crayon which detracts and distracts from the whole picture.
As a whole, the picture looks as though it's been slapped together piecemeal.
Shia's picture has a few problems, but it also has some key aspects which make it work to my eye.
- It has been composed to look like an entire picture (well, advert) rather than disparate bits.
- There is a nice use of color between the three sections, but the spill over helps hold it together as a whole rather than three parts.
- The detail on the 1st is nice and the yellow ribbons on 3rd suggest the girl beneath them nicely.
However when I look close at the 2nd's waist I do wonder if her back has been broken or weirdly bent...
