Outside of standing outside AP and Mercy spamming in broadcast, I can't think a way to get the news to new players (on all servers).
One peice of advice on advertising. We have a Global lvl50 only chat channel. Most people are on guardian, but there are people from all servers. They would advertise the event for you i am sure. contact me at @Medic-Lifeline and I can try to set you up with one of the Moderators to get you invited to the channel, or see if we can get some advertising for you. -
