  1. With a sigh of relief and a brief respite, Mechanism's armor flashes green for a second and some of his wounds are healed by the amazing nanomachines that make up the mesh. He flashes a dirty look at the Family, but decides it will be better to wreck them inside the Coliseum. With another flick of the wrists, his claws are retracted, and he asks "So, where do I sign up?"

    ((Oh, a pic:Mechanism))
  2. ((Misread your post about the porter, disregard this.))
  3. *time to system crash: 149 seconds*

Mechanism hits the ground hard, handplanting and pushing off with both arms to land back on his feet and look at the porters just in time to see them open fire. The combination of the elude protocol and Mechanism's natural reflexes, along with his anger over being stabbed in the chest are proving to make him very elusive. The system takes in every bullet fired at every instance, dodging left, right, up, jumping, somersaulting, leaning in every direction imaginable to avoid the hail of bullets. By the time the porters had emptied their clips, there was a large dusty cloud hovering over the floor from all the ceramic the rounds had kicked around.

*time to system crash: 137 seconds*

Tearing through the cloud of flooring dust, Mechanism rushes at the porter closest to him feigning a slash to the head and following-up with a true cut aimed at his gut.
  4. Within the span of a millisecond, the elude protocol identifies the firearm, the round, its trajectory, and velocity, and Mechanism moves his head just a fraction of an inch, the bullet flying past him and implanting its self next to the shotgun rounds. *Time to system crash: 168 seconds*.

"You", the hero says, pointing a clawed glove at Carlos. "You're next." The pistons in Mechanism's feet go off again, but instead of going straight for the raider, they catapult him towards the ceiling, where he twists in an incredible showing of midair acrobatics to put his feet on the ceiling and fire the pistons again, coming in inverted down right on top of the raider, and slashing his claws in a wide arc.
  5. ((That's a bit of a powerplay. The least you can do for me not putting a claw through your neck is to not put a machete through my chest. O-o))

"Well, [censored]." After the impact to the chest, the hero falls from the sky, but where his body can't perform, the armor takes over. His legs gain new life on the fall and he lands on his own two feet, the yellow circuitry taking on a green hue. The hero pulls the machete from his back with a sickening *splut* and slices it into four unusable pieces with one quick swipe, then tosses them aside. The armor that had been torn apart by the blade seems to sow it's self back together, and though the blade had missed anything of importance, it can't help but seem that it'll take a while for that to heal. Mechanism looks straight at Weston and says.

"I don't know who the hell you think you are, but you're going down."

He presses a button on his headset and his armor roars to new life, the words "elude protocall activated; time to system crash, 180 seconds" flashing across his visor and forming a handy little countdown clock in the corner. Mechanism holds his right claw into the air, and it starts to glow whitish-blue with focused energy, which he slashes at Weston, and then takes off, running alongside the energy-wave to deliver a vicious slash, again, aimed for the throat, just as it should make impact with the Raider.
  6. The flames seem to glance off of the cybernetic hero's armor, causing only a bit of minor damage, a slightly burned cheek and a bit of red heat-stress along his shoulders and back, which quickly reverted to it's normal grey as he quickly dove through the cone and onto the floor. As he landed on the ground and saw Weston point his shotgun at him, his armor took over. Even as the blast fired, the powerful mesh twisted and pushed against the hero's body, enhancing his already quick movement and pressing him flat against the floor, the buckshot ricocheting harmlessly behind him and burying its self in the opposing wall. Weston swore and fired another shot even as the hero closed in on him, but again, his armor seemed to literally shove Mechanism out of the way of the incoming round. A deadly grin and could be seen from beneath the hero's eyes as he sprinted directly under the leader, his hydraulic rams kicking in again to deliver a clawed uppercut aimed at the Raider's exposed throat.
  7. A metal hand grasps a corner of the hole that the Sky Raiders blew in the wall, and a head clad a bulky-looking set of goggles peeks out of the same corner. "Hey, is this the?" He looks into the room and sees the Sky Raiders fighting the guards. "Oh. Well, I did come to fight, after all." He's a tall hero, about seven feet, decked out in a suit of grey mesh armor with yellow circuitry running across and two large gunmetal-grey gauntlets. The hero pulls himself into the gap with just a single arm and squats perched on the broken wall inside the hole, looking at the skirmish that is about to ensue. He flicks his left arm out, and then his right, and metallic claws pop with a *schick* from both of his gloves. The hero presses a few buttons on his headset, taking a minute to allow his armor to focus his senses, and then hydraulic rails in his boots fire, giving him a powerful, fast jump straight at the force field generator, which he delivers a quick strike to.

((His name is Mechanism, a security level 42 Claw/SR scrapper with some martial arts attributes and borderline-super speed.))
