Matakoshi

I've been having loads of problems even loading up CoX these last few days. I spent 20 minutes last night trying to reconnect to the update, but 2 hours earlier (before the raid) I'd connected without a problem.

Anyone else been getting this? Its never a constant thing, as after I wanted to come back on the check some stuff after I'd logged for the night and again connected 1st time no problems...

Erm...maybe its just me...but my MA/Regen scrapper is nothing compared to my katana/regen...I find MA is far slower. Its more powerful per attack but i don't find that it outweighs the drop in speed from Katana. Can I ask what your attack chains are? Maybe I'm just haven't found the right chain...

I also find that the animations are too long for me to hit my heals in time, not a problem I've had with my other kat/regen...

But obviously you guys are finding different. Am I expecting too much compared to kat/regen, or do you think I'm not using him right? I haven't been able to get all the acolades for him yet, so he doesn't have all the base regen/recovery boosts my kat/regen has, but I never found a huge difference between my kat/regen having them and not having them...

Yup, definately behind on the badges...although I *do* now have empath. Spent *ages* trying to get that when it was still to heal 1 billion. Got about 20% of the way there then stopped playing. And then they changed it to 100 million.

Its been just over 2 years since I left City Of Heroes, so I don't expect any of you to remember me...but I'm back.

A lot has changed since I was gone. Never used to be able to make enhancements! I'm going to have to look into them, they sound really cool.

Anyways! If anyone remembers WIllow R (50 emp/rad def), Charlotte T (50 fire/fire tank) or Matakoshi (50 kat/regen scrapper), feel free to say hi! Currently playing with Nano Rock (11 stone/ice tank)

I might as well try and get a few more Hami raids in. I'll try and be there.

And my tactic for the hami raid? put Healing aura on auto, click fly, and then click "follow" on whoever is the targeter. Then i just sit back, have a drink, and watch. probably a good thing as i'll be dealing with a mammoth hangover from the night before.

Sorry Smooth, been busy the last few days. was hardly even on today, or yesterday. Havent been able to check the forums in a few days either. Was busy this afternoon so couldn't have come along anyways.

thank you for your honesty, Dawgtagz. Good luck with your inf hunting. try missions in Warburg or FBZ. They've let me generate thousands of prestige for my SG with my scrapper. stick yourself on unyielding and blitz 'em in a few minutes.

that leaves us with just one reserve, Sayia. :s i hope we don't need any, but still.

Oh yes, as this is in the Shadowshards, and we all know what *that* place is like for traveling, at least one of us I know has teleport. Also, if Dark brings his controller we will have group fly! so as long as i don't tp him before the people in his fly-aura, traveling between missions shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Update on TF!

1st things 1st, we need at least 6 people who are NOT gonna quit on us and will stick with us through to the end. if anyone on the list thinks they'll quit, get bored etc, let me know now please. Even doing this as quickly as possible it will still be a long a rather boring TF, taking a few hours.

Plan is to get the TF done as quickly as possible. SS TFs are all kinda monotonous, so we'll be making use of the logging trick as much as possible. Basically, this means that we all asemble outside the mission, then everyone except one or two people log off for 5 minutes. the remaining people enter the mission and spawn all the mobs etc, so the map is spawned for 2 people. then everyone else logs back on and we clear/finish. gets a 40 minute mission done in 10.

Finally, does anyone have invis? incredibly useful for the logging trick. either that or we need an emp with fort/ab etc and a scrapper/tanker to map. its possible, but much easier with someone who has invis.

Yes to both. I haven't gotten round to formalising a team yet, but with you two, that'll be two scrappers at least. My friend, if shes well enough to play , will probably bring either a rad defender, or an ill/emp troller. I'll post a thread about it in a few days, once i get people from my SG involved. Sucks you have to have an op, but good you get time off. I'm doing all of the Freedom Phalanx TFs with my scrapper, Matakoshi, one a week each Wednesay night starting around 7pm. think this week will be off, though, not sure. next Wednesday it'll either be Citadel, if this week is canceled, or Numina, and the week after will be Numina or Manticore. you're wellcome to come along on any of them, if you want. Just sent me a tell @Willow R, or leave me a message on here. If i think about it, i'll send you a tell before i start when i'm putting the team together and ask you if you want to come along too.

I need Scirocco on my scrapper, Matakoshi, but i can't make it in the evening. However, I will be available from around midday BST for the Reformed and Venomous Badge-hunt with Willow R (also my global handle). I'll probably have to go aounrd 6pm-ish, but i'll confirm this as soon as i can. all depends when i'm needed working.
