Also, to the guy posting right after me, spines only gets 2 real AOEs. I've NEVER met a stalker with spine burst. And Ripper is very small. Throw spines is great, but alas i find im one of the few who have it. AOE just isnt a stalkers cup of tea. At least as I have seen.

In terms of Stalkers, AOE is pretty worthless. And this IS the stalker forum. Although I'm not gonna lie......for scrappers the AOE potential is disguistingly good. But for stalkers, its impale FTW.

And in response to the coolness meter.... The secret to loving spines is when you AS someone, imagine your stalker hugging them. Therefore, the hug of death > all. Spines wins again.

Is this seriously aiming the nerf bat on impale? Holy [censored].... If impale is nerfed I want a 10 BI attack like our NRG homies. Seriously. Impale is what evens out Spines.... Ok and BIB is fine too.... You realize this game is balanced around PvE and not PvP right? Spines is unique do ue to having 1 long range attack and NOTHING else. Ripper is ridiculously pathetic compared to NRGs or even MAs high end attacks. So before you say NERF IMPALE ZOMG IT POWNZ ME IN PVP, realize this is a PVE game.

EDIT: And EG is my hero..... His logic is perfect. I vote for the 37.5 BI attack for War Mace. Set defining abilities make it more difficult to unbalance the game if everone has one and the rest are generic.

I dunno if someone pointed this out yet but I'm too lazy to look. Sheilds have been fixed: they now stack appropriatly as of I7 I believe. Therefore, good investment.
