  1. I have the time for exactly 2 MMOs in my off-work time, one is (and will be) City of Heroes, and the other I'm reserving for when I (eventually ...) get my new computer. (Or this one upgraded to at least 20th Century technology)

That other MMO will be either Star Wars: The Old Republic, or a Horror-Lovecraftian MMO, or, if none of that comes to pass, Star Trek Online (Ick, ya I know, it's THOSE guys, and they're having "issues" at the moment, but I'm a HUGE Trek geek.In fact, it was just over seven years ago I left Klingon fandom behind

(I was involved in Trek/Klingon fandom for over ten years, and yes, I have a Klingon uniform with the ridges and all. Makes a great Halloween costume nowadays. Back then they called me K'nagh, lowly Geoscientist of House Qaraw' who became, eventually, Chancellor for The Empire, an international Klingon fanclub that still exists today!

Wow, got a little side-tracked. Sorry 'bout that.
  2. Ya, what Thirty-Seven said. It was out last mission anyway.

We punched Arbiter sands in the face for you, though. Twice, actually. And then another time just for good measure, and then three more times because he had the nerve to come to Praetoria, and then two times for bringing so many Arachnos soldiers with him, then seven times because we felt like it, and then five times because he had the audacity to speak to us without asking permission first. Then, after that, things got kinda worse than PG-13.

    I'll miss ChemHead.
  3. I'll send your advice off to Hurtzwen, he'll appreciate it. 'Specially the rawhide solution, he should have thought of that one himself.

    Also:
"I call it: "A safe alternative to dialysis."

    You got a Healing Arrow!!??

I'm anxious to run anything, especially stories that give background to our heroes ... and that reminds me, I have to get back to my own AE story arc. (It's not listed yet, but the name of it will be, "Close, But No Cigar." Ha.
  4. Work well, man, we'll be thinking about ya.

What's our agenda for Thurs then? Are we going to rescue Ny without Nox, or abandon the TF and re-run it from the beginning next week?

PS: Issue 19s lookin' pretty neat.
  5. Dear Gabby:

I've been dating this girl for a while now. She's really sweet, and a bit naive, and powerful in the ways of magic, and all, but she can't seem to keep her vault locked up. So, now I have this ... sore. Thingie. You know, down there.

Normally it wouldn't scare me so much, but its started to talk to me. You know, in a rude and taunting voice. It's especially embarrassing when I'm in public -- it's really kinda loud, and very obnoxious. I tried the Dispel Obnoxygen recovery spell, but no beans.

    Really, what can I do?

    Signed,
    Hurtzwen I. Yorin VIII

Oh heck ya. Not just the Main Theme mind you, but the Eleventh Doctor's action music, in particular. Just awesome! The part where the violins cut in especially, it just screams, "Basically .... RUN."
  7. Good! Don't start.

(PS: Neither do I, but my alter ego does. There's POWERFUL magical energy in the smoke of burning dicotyl flower petals and leaves, apparently)
  8. I'm going to suggest an Axe/WP Brute. The combo, with Fury in full swing, makes for a great barbarian character. With Quick Recovery on top of Stamina, there are no Endurance problems. Of course picking up Hasten will cure you of that!
  9. And DO NOT touch my cigars.

That's only because I have your health and safety on my mind.

Those that cannot control the cigar will be controlled by the cigar. That's what Praetoreus used to say. He was right, looks like.
  10. Indeed it is! That kind of thinking is probably what made them such a long-lived species. Plus, I hear that some are working for Gateway now.
  11. My graphics card is a 10,000 BC. A spark of flint against iron is "0" and no spark is "1". Neanderthal Binary they call it.

Check out the minimum/recommended guidelines on "Going Rogue" and you should have a good idea of where to go from there. See? Actual serious advice from me.

Also would like to pile on more Kudos for the work on the arc, I'm REALLY looking forward to Ny's arc now!

    Hasta Diego!

  12. The peoples of the Earth (and not of the Earth) are celebrating their hero!

It's fun -- you can do it too!
  13. What an awesome mission arc! Wylde feels liberated and free. FREEEEEE!!!!!! I only wish the fight with Amira could have lasted another ten to fifteen minutes. I think I only got one shot at her!

How about the conclusion to last night's events, huh? The final mission, Wow! I never imagined the sight of Bully wrestling the Hamidon to a standstill could be so exciting. And the way Nox and Lilly plastered Nemesis and his entire army of automatons ... just awesome. And that Keebler guy! Single-handedly halting an invasion from Praetoria and fighting off twelve legions of war walkers! (And that was with one hand as I remember, the other hand was holding that elfin-baked treat). I think my favorite, most exciting moment was when Sal calculated the value Pi to its last digit!! The way the Universe shook and all? And of course Wylde ascending to divine status was just the best. Bless you, my children.

To anyone that missed it, it was THE BEST MISSION EVER. Just wow!

But now I find myself alone in the mansion owned by the Solomon Foundation, that centuries-old family of stuffy-shirted stiffs that train my centuries-old family line in the ways of magic. My mentor has not only turned to the dark side, becoming corrupted by money and power, but ... the worst sin of all ... cheap Italian suits? Praetoreus! What has happened to my beloved stodgy, stuffy-shirted mentor?

Will the Foundation send someone new to continue my training? I *am* the last Wylde, unless there are a handful of my kids out there that I don't know about. (Note to self, see about a lawyer to cover possible paternity suits) Or will I be left to my own devices? Well, they're Pratz's devices but I'll claim default ownership of EVERYTHING .... hahah ...Hahahahh .... HAHAHAHAHAH!!!! Oooh, what's THIS thing do? (poof)

Looks like I'll be teaching myself from now on ...! Our team will be better off for it.

Looking forward to next time ... had a blast!
  14. I'm guessing that Brutus is the other Central Time Zoned plant outside your door?
  15. It's Wylde. The inuendo must sink to a deep level of near-depravity.

Although .... Cecil Verde is funny.
  16. Ha! We eat Elite Bosses for breakfast!

Just make sure to build them without attacks or defenses, and all is good. Oh, and make sure Amira has a TON of Health, for the lengthy beating she truly deserves.

So, on a different note, I was thinking. Paris, Brittany or Gaga? I've discounted Rosie already, I can't even do that to a plant.
  17. Well there's an emote for "stagger around like you're totally scnhockered(TM)" That's good enough for me.

On an unrelated note, I hear two fingers of Jack is good for pink-eye.

Just remember, Gabs, that there is a necessary transfer of material goods to seal your membership within our group and said material goods are measured in shots and that's the 2-fingered variety and not the kinetic impact variety.

    BAM! Run-on over-conjunctivication!

  19. LeBeau, though I'll miss ya, don't give up hope. Magic can cure anything, it's just mustering the effort necessary to look through the right books. Tell Azuria to stop standing around and start mustering! (Also, a plug for demon-chicken soup, man. Get a hold of some, it'll cure anything! Though it may put unwanted hair on you chest - or these really nasty terrifyingly huge suckered tentacles, it's sort of a grab bag there. But it tastes good, so there's that.)

Gabs, welcome man. Sounds like you know your magic stuff. (Apart from the whole skinning alive fettish ya seem to have) You must know how to bake up a pretty tasty cookie. I like the chocolaty caramal ones, so make sure you bring a batch with ya. (Oh, I've always wanted to know, Gabs, how tiny are the urinal cakes in that tiny bathroom in that cookie tree? Laughably tiny I'm thinking.) Hanging out with us will put you in a whole new league, for certain, and I'm not talking baseball. You're not hitchiking anymore, you're RIDING! And as long as you keep your fairy dust on the opposite side of the table, I'm sure we'll get along great.

Now where was I? Ooh! A new shipment of Cigars imported from [REMOVED BY SOLOMON FOUNDATION CENSORS]. Sweet!
  20. Good.
    Good.
    GOOD!

I'm hearing all good stuff here. I'll have a costume ready for Thurs then. I hope city officials grant us access to security level 32 this week, because there's a "pet" spell Praetoreus is ready to teach me but I must have exactly that much trust with the City before the Solomon Foundation will allow me access to their stupid "special book".

I'm going to name it "Paris" for reasons that will be obvious.

See ya in Gold and Black!
    Tony Wylde

(PS: Does anyone want or need about thirty pounds of gold chain links? I'm finding (happily) that I have no use for them anymore.
  21. I like these a bit better, though if it's acceptible I might replace the trench with a magic cape (again, if its acceptable). Shoulder pads on a trench coat look kinda odd to my eye, but my eyes are odd to begin with.

Direbane does NOT have access to any of the costumes from the booster packs except for Science. (*Coughlosercough*) So his cyborg shoulders would need to be altered to another type. I suggest loserpads.

REALLY looking forward to both of the story arcs!

    Donde esta mi lapiz!
  22. Yes. Nice wings indeed.

By the way, enjoy the new cape Bully! We all took an amazing amount of bruises to make that happen for ya!

Jinx, you owe me a coke (though I prefer Diet Mountain Dew). Simultaneous(ish) post!
