I fully agree about keeping the way it is with the banners. As said by past posters, not only can you put in banners to honour your coalition members, it can also allow you to decorate different colours and themes. I can put in a banner with C and S side by side for the initials of my SG.

I know there is the possibility of childish antics with various words, but that gets old pretty fast. An beside, when most players see it, they will go "yah right ... <quit SG>"

Another I am wondering is why is it so darn expensive. 5000 for a large banner? Why? Why not just 100 all around. Everything for decorum 100. So what is somebody wants to hang 100 banners around there base. Whoopy-do. Fill your boots. Even small SGs, putting just a decorative base can actually put more decorations in without draining there bank account.

So I say keep the banners the way they are, and drop the price for ALL decorative items.

Guild Description: The Canadian Shield (CS) has been around for some time (right from the beginning of beta). The Mission of The Canadian Shield is to promote a strong sense of comraderie and friendship. We are a team. The CS is a Role Playing Super Group. With some well thought out RPing we can achieve just about anything, from Missions to Player vs. Player to Badge Hunting to SG Events. The Canadian Shield does a little bit of everything, because anything is possible.

So are you are person that has just as much fun exemplaring to sidekicking, that loves a good session of RPing, that enjoys being part of a team? Then stand up and be counted for we are a hardcore RP SG. We rp in local, team, sg, and a lesser excent coalition. We even have a special global channel for Out Of Character stuff so you can carry on a conversation with your teammates about the outside world.

I know, the name is Canadian Shield, however, you don't have to be Canadian to apply, I like to think we are a multi-national SG. You just have to be willing to have fun and RP. As stated above, if you are a PvP, we can do that, badge [censored], sure thing. RP events can be set up from gathering badges, to patrolling zones, to Task Forces, to missions, and then some.
