Sasha crept out through the door, and sat on her haunches almost between Shannon's legs. Her ears perked forward a bit, and her tail waved slowly in the air.
"Was behind th' doorrr.. no muss, no fuss. You two?" she picked up a few scattered needles and stashed them in various pockets... she had a blowgun she could use these on... and it wouldn't take much to poison them... -
"Feh. Overrrly optomistic ain't gonna keep ya alive, morrron" she grumbled and gathered her feet under her in a comfortable position, ready to run if he needed her help. She watched, her ears bare for the moment to catch the lowest sounds, her nose sniffing the air for hidden dangers.
-
Sasha hissed slightly when he moved, and stabbed his calf with a claw... not enough to do any damage, but enough to make her point...felt.
"Idiot gonna get yerrrself killed, then wherrre will yerrr people be? Ain't no shame in hidin', stupid." she whispered. -
Sasha recognised Needle, and squeaked in fear when she saw him, huddling down behind the door, her hand darting out to pull on Shannon's pants-leg to get him to come inside.
-
Sasha purred very... very quietly, rubbing her cheek briefly against his leg... her more feline tendancies came out strongly when she was frightened... and scuttled inside.
She moved a little too fast and ran into the wall, but she crawled to the door, and kept watch just in case ther was anything she could do to help, if it became neccessary. -
Sasha's sensitive nose picked out Shannon's scent. He was kind to her, when it seemed the world was devoid of light. A crook? Probably. Almost everyone here was in one way or another. If they were going to survive, they had to do what it took.
She edged away from the boxes, and scampered as quick as she could across the street to the stoop where he stood, and touched his calf timidly with an almost invisible hand, mewing quietly. -
Sasha darted to a bit of cover offered by a few squelchy, mouldering boxes stacked near the foundation of the building, and was about to begin her daily round of scrounging when she heared the gunshots, and huddled in on herself behind her meager cover.
I'm small, they can't see me... I'm small, they can't see me...
She could dimly remember, past the pain of the lab, a warm voice singing her to sleep. Her mother, she thought... but she never knew for sure. Most of her memories centered around the doctors and researchers... heartless men and women who tormented her in mind and body until they discarded her as an unfit and failed experiment. She even still had the mark they branded on the inside of her right wrist. The fine pelt of fur that covered her body didn't even cover it... a horrid reminder...
She'd come to accept, and even to appreciate the feline nature of her body now... the fur helped keep her warm as she huddled on the stoop of the Serpents' apartment building at night. Her ears, usually covered by a cap, were sensitive, and had often helped warn her of dangers she might not otherwise have heared. The tail was just annoying though. It got in the way, tripping her, knocking things over, betraying her mood. Damn thing...
She huddled, holding her knees, too far away from the building she used as shelter to hide in familiar holes, and kept her eyes tightly shut, shivering in fear... -
Magda giggled in her sleep in Essex's hand when the powers were returned, and a bubble encased her almost immediately. A defense mechanism? Perhaps. The bubble floated up, and Mags kissed Essex on the nose, emitting a scent of roses and honeysuckle before floating off to settle on a windowsill.
-
Magda seemed soothed by Essex's calm, and stopped repeating the phrase, her shivering calming into a slight purr as she cuddled into her hand.
-
(( Blight broke Mags XD When Essex damped the powers, Mags' defenses went *poof!* ))
-
Magda simply huddled there in Essex's hand... apparently her years in the dark court had not exposed her to enough direct attacks like this one.
"'m no' a bug...no' a bug...no' a bug" her form wavered between a tiny winged kitten and a tiny winged girl, as if, without her natural magic to direct it, her form didn't know what to settle on. -
Magda fell from Essex's shoulder quietly whispering, repeatedly...
"Not a bug to squash...not a bug to squash...not a bug to squash..."
the mantra repeated itself over and over again, getting a bit faster, more frantic as the images poured into Essex's mind. Mags still had the link, but that was it... her defenes against this kind of attack fled with the loss of her powers. -
Magda steeled herself against the visions, and growled again, hurling a large bolt of darkness at Blightlord. She flew off of Burning's shoulder, and landed on Essex's shoulder, hurredly pushing what she had seen into Essex's mind, hoping she would recieve the images.
((now ya get to decide what Mags saw XD )) -
Magda screamed a tiny scream beside Burning's ear. Sure she was scared, but 500 years in the Dark Courts had shown her some -very- horrifying things... it was only her distraction that caught her off guard. Afret all, some of her playmates were Sluagh... those who hunted and punished the fey both Sidhe, and non, of the Court. She quickly recovered, and threw up her defenses... a cloud of dark energies surrounded her as her Empathy tried to strike back at Blightlord. Empathy was a two-way street for her, and being a part of the Unseelie made her less a creature of the Light than was Sienna...
::Thou'rt not as y'seem... aye an I tell wha' I sense abou' thee, what'll happen t'thee? Leave off th' young ones here, and I say naught... an' thou dost not, then I say aught I know. Dost wish t'be revealed?:: Mags tried to speak into his mind... she wasn't sure if she was heared though... -
Magda smiled at the song, remembering her gran teaching it to her to help those in need, and began to hum along quietly, almost entranced. She 'ported Sienna back up to Burning's shoulder, and held her till the dizziness passed, aided by Mags' own magic, a light purple glow surrounded her. She held Sienna's hand as a blue glow suffused her, giving her more energy to play with. (cm, and Adrenaline Boost )
-
Magda jumped into the air from Burning's shoulder as he fell to the ground, and felt his fear as real as if it were her own. She squeaked and calmed him as well as she could, a bright purple light surrounding them both. she felt Sienna's fear as she was almost sucked into the vacuum, and teleported her to sit with Mags on Burning's shoulder. Her aura flared at regular intervals, a sure sign of her fear that those she decided were her friends were in trouble... and might be horribly hurt.
Magda growled a tiny kittenish growl at Blightlord, and gathered her strength, calling on the darkness that was her birthright from the court of the Unseelie Sidhe. She sent blast after blast at Blightlord, a terrible anger causing her to shake, and her aura to flare into a blue fire.
Her gift of Empathy were unusually strong... thought to be a curse by those in the dark court... but it told her things about Blightlord, and she was terribly afraid of what she saw inside him. She couldn't exactly define it.. at only 500 years old she was still a child... but it terrified her nonetheless. -
"Meanie!" Mags yelled at Blightlord, shrinking to sit on Burning's shoulder, and warming him with her own brightly glowing aura. She gestured at Blightlord's feet and giggled as a bit of malice showed in her eyes.
"Oh aye, two can play a' this game!" Several dark tendrils of energy whipped out at his feet, to send him sprawling to the ground. -
Magda raised her hand and took Danica's dizziness away when she saw her fall (Clear Mind). She squeaked when Burning fell, and flitted to him, a look of concearn on her face as she grew to about a foot tall. She held a finger to his nose, and a warm green glow surrounded him briefly. The glow healed him (Heal Other), and made him feel stronger (Fortitude). She smiled, and kissed him on the nose emitting the scent of roses as she flitted off.
-
Magda giggled again, and gave Moonscribe the illusion of full Pharoh's regalia. She flitted to Essex's shoulder, and settled there, closing her eyes she pulled the illusion of an exquisite gown of blue silk over her clothing. The bodice, hem and sleeves glittered with diamonds and sapphires, and a beautiful silver crown sat lightly on her head.
She then flew to Shiro's shoulder, and began tickling his ear with the feather again... giving him the illusion of a thug's costume... black vest, torn black jeans, and black biker boots. -
Magda squeaked at Feliks' agreement, and painted him illusory pink with blue and purple polka-dots, glittery hearts and stars scrawled over all of his exposed skin as she silently asked the Rock-star hopefull if she wanted the illusion to stop.
::Anna? You havin' fun? You wan' it ta' go 'way?:: -
Magda giggles at the vacuum-weilding one, and flew over to plant a kiss on the cheek, and fluttered off to a window, painting frost-pictures on it.
-
Magda giggled and gave Anna an illusion of spiked, bright red hair, and a brief illusion of standing on a stage in front of a crowd, all the lights bright and focused on her.
-
Magda snapped tiny fingers, and the border collie turned from her natural coloration to a sparkling pink and blue.
-
Magda giggled as the second child attacked the clothes, she tossed the ones she was holding into the air, and flew up to Shiro, kissing his nose, and emitting a scent of roses and lilacs.
She then shrunk down; her form taking that of the tiny ball of fire as she landed on Shiro's shoulder; and watched the room around her with avid curiosity.
"Who be Bob?" A tiny belled voice asked from beside Shiro's ear, and the feather came out once more, tickling him. -
"Bob!!" Magda yelled, and flew to the scattered "monster", sobbing as she grew to about two feet in height, and held the clothes to her chest.
