As title really!
Are there any SG's out there recruiting new guys please? I did check the SG thread in the sticky at the top of the board, but the vast majority of the posts there were pretty old and I wasn't sure whether they were all still going. Plus, I'm sure as the game has been going for a good while now many of the existing SG's are full.
I've just started playing again after a couple of years away. I started in 04 and left after a couple of months, mainly because I absolutely played it to death and it didn't have enough of an end-game for me at the time. However, priorities change and now I have less free time I'm glad of the casual-friendliness of CoH. Watching Superman Returns recently inspired me to pick up the good / evil edition at a knockdown price and I'm getting right back into the feel of the spandex again!
I'm (just) the wrong side of 30 (IRL not level in game, heh
) so I'm not really keen on accepting one of those 'blind SG invites' that come my way in Atlas Park, I'd prefer to have a browse round people's forums or chat in-game a bit to see if I'd fit in before I took the plunge. I'm well aware I'm going to have to solo a lot and that's fine, but it gets a bit lonely without any chat flashing away in the bottom left!
