Liz Bathory

Slowly Elizabeth her body began to dissolve and a dark mist was all that remains... her voice sounded towards Kai... "Girl... I think you can directly come true to your promise. The siege I expected has started. You know what you have to do..." Her voice sounded eerie through the dark corridors of the dungeons. Then her shapeless form disappeared in the cracks between the stones.

Only to reform in her office... She stood for her black mirror. The mystic crystal it was made of almost screamed when she send the call to all of her Court that was able to hear it! "The castle is under siege... now you can show me your worth!"

In the bellows of the dungeons drums started... her army of zombies gathered. The occasional ghost and demon accompanied them.

To be sure about the security of her prisoners she send a Dark Servant to the cage and a platoon Zombies to guard it.

I have one...

1- Nightseye was at the wedding. She is a reasonably new Nighthunter although one time member of the original ones (she is rather old). She knows Bathory from former (ancient) battles. But is not attacked yet.

2- Shannon O'Banshee hasn't attacked any monster hunter yet...

Elizabeth stood up and walked out of her office... her slender hand urging the girl to follow her. Again they walked through the hall and the laboratoria, but this time the countess went down yet other stairs. They where now in a dark corridor only lit by candle flame... Occasionally there where footsteps heard in the deep... and somewhere the sound of water was there.

She opened a metal gate and went left... a long corridor with several souveniers was next... then the walls began to show chains and metal rings. There was soil in some corners and a smell of blood that seemed to become stronger each step. Kai could see a rat dive away upon the approice of the two. Elizabeth grabbed a candelabra and in the light of the flames she passed an unlit part of the obvious dungeon. A skeleton chained to the wall seemed at least a year old... it had parts of a longbow uniform on.

Then they arrived in a room that had a metal cage at the far end... At a wooden post in the middle was the winged shape of Alexia 'Misty Hunter' Morgan visible. At the sealing hang Suraya 'Desert Princess' Balfear... an enchanted circlet replacing her golden one she had for her wedding dress. Its magic blocking down her abilities. The wall had Rachel 'Damsel' Hunter chained up... more hanging then standing she had finally fell asleep. Next to her was Altair Stevens... she was bleeding from a large cut across his chest which was slowly becoming infected. Her eyes followed the two women with hatred.

Elizabeth ignored them and walked straight to the cage where the young girl Mary seemed to be in an unnatural but peacefull sleep. A armed zombie stood next to the cage... his shape looking even more impressive in the flickering fire-light. A black-skinned girl was looking at Elizabeth in horror... too scared to even talk. In the back there was a terrified boy left... He had some bruises in his face and had scraped his skin trying to get out.

"Is that him?!", Elizabeth finally said breaking the silence...

Elizabeth walked to her chair and sat down... "I might... You would be willing to swear alligience then?"

A Zombie servant showed up at the entrance of her office... Elizabeth gave him a nod and pointed to the heads. He walked up and took them to place them on stakes in the garden section of the dungeons.

Elizabeth kept her cool aside of the overactive kid next to her and started to cross off the faces she recognised from her master list. Then walked up to her safe. Without taking her eyes of the girl she grabbed the money, and quickly closed the safe again.

If this girl did this she must be more dangerous then first glance shows.

The countess placed the money on the desk... "Here you go... count it if you want?!"

Last week I made IT! Red-side badge hunter here... so less badges around... Playing since 2006!

At the moment I am on 606 badges and counting... At least 3 very close...

"The price is right as stated... I add 10% for the bringing of them all together.", Elizabeth answered. You can follow me to my safe and I get you your money. She stood up and walked to her office.

Vladimir winked her to follow... and replied in the same mono-tone voice... "Follow..." Together they went down the stairs through the laboratoria ending up in the great hall where Elizabeth sat at her throne thinking about ways to trap the upcoming intruders.

The Lich scraped his dry throat... "Uhum, my countess... a hunter's hunter here to see you." Elizabeth looked up half expecting to see an imposant man standing there with an axe in his hand... Instead it was this little pinkwearing girl. It cost her a little effort not to start laughing. "Do you have something for, my child?", she said in her friendliest of voices.

It is high time a Pious vs. Elizabeth clash should be done. Good time to have Pious pick his stone/granite or he will be fried *evil grinn*

Kill for more... Ofcourse... I even pay for them if killing is not possible at the moment.

Elizabeth looked up for a second as if she heard a voice... which she did. A small but very wicked smile formed on her lips. Then her concentration shifted to her 'guests' again.

Only a day ago her ploy to get Lilith Lamashtu inside the Nighthunters base during their weakened security due to that foolish wedding worked out like a charm. And now general Darkheart... Sarah... brought her Misty Hunter! She looked around in her special dungeon room... The children Mary and Hazel where sobbing soft of fright in a large cage while little David was looking almost catatonic, a huge armored zombie guard standing next to it ready to strike. This to keep her other superpowered guests under control. Damsel and the Desert Princess...

Damsel still had a horrified look on her face... often glancing to her 4 year old daughter in the cage. She was hanging from chains with her bare feet about 30 cm above the ground. Bruises where in her face and some blood came from the wounds in her arm.

Next to her was Suraya... Not looking any better. Although her face wasn't touched the Desert Princess was hanging upside down her almost completely ripped wedding dress bloodcovered and her bare legs and arms showing hundreds of knife cuts which all had healed remarkable fast.

Also hanging on the wall was Altair Stevens... chained up and a huge cut over his chest. He was unconcious at the moment. And as the cut was very deep maybe that was best for him.

Elizabeth stood in front of a large pole which hold the winged figure of Misty Hunter. "Misty was it you called youreself now he... Alexia!", she held up Alexia's head on her now white hair. "I know you are wondering why you cannot phase out my little ghost..." Elizabeth glanced at the wings and pulled a face as if she saw something gross... "...Or is it angel now! At least you are not that holy yet that I cannot touch you. But we both know you did some naughty stuff before." She turned Alexia her head so she could see her rune-engraved shackles. "Pretty don't you think. It can hold any ghost... keeps you solid." Elizabeth softly kissed Alexia her lips.

Then pulled back and hit her hard on the cheek... "Talk to me when I speak to you!", she yelled. Alexia feld her left eye swole up and mumbled something... "What do you say... I cannot hear you!"

Again Alexia spoke... a bit louder this time... "Do with me what you want. I know you have your reasons. But let the others go!"

A smile formed on Elizabeth her lips... then she burst out in laughter. "Oh... can't do my little technomage! My... how noble have you become. Where is the little girl i took in that threatened anyone who came close to her robots?" She pulled out a feather from her wings... "Now... where?!"

Alexia tried to show no pain, she knew it would give the vampire only pleasure if she would. "That side of me is gone and I am free from it. This is who and what I am now and I couldn't be more happy!"

I hear that it will soon be high time to pull out my Nighthunter "Nightseye" who will beat both in age... together. :P

Steel Canyon on the way out

Walking through shadow melt is always a bit strange... Like a mist so thick it flows through youre body making it transparant. In this state no shadows excist for the one under the spell and night becomes like day.

Rotten and Elizabeth past the guards by a few meters... but they could have been inces away if they wanted. City made way for a few collasped buildings... and behind those buildings there started a forest that shouldn't be here. It wasn't as if that was part of a park in the least.

Brian followed her quickly. "This doesn't look good.", he said. "Yes, I can handle..." His ectoplasmatic hand touched her ghostly tears... "They do wonders there Misty! But you better hurry..."

For a second they stared each other in the eyes... "Hope I see you again someday!"

Flashback: Lilith's Hell, a few hours after the abduction.

Lilith smiled at the outcry and adressed one of her luitenants... "I see more here have powers... Lucifer take this City of Heroes! Round them up and seperate the adults from the children. The mistress expects them soon."

A woman in white slowly opened her eyes... It was Suraya, the Desert Princess... Her wedding dress was burned at some places and torn in others. She was still a bit dizzy from the gass but immediatly realised that this was not a good position to be in. She summoned all her willpower to conjure an army of light and heat... but then a massive headache made her stop!

Two succubi with obviously strong psychic powers held her mind. Suraya tried to hit them but was still way too weak and she fell down again. The demonic laughter of her foes made her angry and desperate... She looked around instead and saw Damsel her horror struck face looking at... Hazel!? The children where here?! Then she saw the others...

"No! No! You will not get me...", again she tried and for a second broke the hold the psychics had on her. The efford placed such a strain on her that some blood came from her nose but she managed to turn herself invisible.

Lilith's voice sounded... deadly calm... "My dear arab... You cannot escape from me like that. You should know that." She nodded to the demon master next to her and he cracked his whip. Several demons closed in on the invisible woman... untill she couldn't even move... let alone escape. "Now be a good girl and stay visible... there are children present."

Suraya looked at Mary who was panicking and Hazel who was still unconcious... a demon standing guard next to her... Then at Damsel again... "Ok, you have me.", she said in a defeated tone.
