I have a level 28 character that I used to play a looooong time ago and he is a Controller. I want to play this character again, but that archtype is locked. Should I get a VIP membership or should I buy the archtype? Both ate $15 I think. Does the archtype lock again if I let my VIP lapse?

Is there any other way to play my character again? I'm bummed that the one archtype from the original game when it first came out is a premium item.
