I dunno who's speedier, the toon or LJ. Looks fantasatic. The smaller gear is a little hard to see, but since I don't know the toon, I dont know if its supposed to be or not. The lightning trail is amazing too... but I think the highlighting on the muscles is just mind bogglingly cool looking.

Fixed... as for speed, funny how this relates, the whole thing took a little more than 90 minutes, coloring wise, which makes me fairly happy considering this means I can do pieces like this in one sitting without breaks... which means a faster turn around time, and less, less, less waiting for you guys!

Ah see you should have told me you played VTM the video game... my son and I hacked that sucker to death... well with mods. For that I will color your robot sketch tomorrow...
Gad: I was being factitious, I just know I could do better, but hoped that would have made MG happy for now. -
You can ask, but i don't have to make it...
sides that sketch is embarrassing.

No, in your case I'll make an exception, though sorry this is so sloppy, had to work on my wife's mac, with my old wacom, and none of my good Illustrator brushes... hope it's okay: Molten grace

The reason I say no metallic pieces isn't to be mean. It's just they are intricate, not in the way you might think... yes they have a lot of parts, but drawing and coloring those parts is a laborious task...
When I break down what has to be colored, each section has 4 parts: the flat base color, a highlight, a shadow, and a sheen or secondary color. Now multiply that in say the example you give which has 3 metallic areas: the gloves, the shoulders and the head.
The head would be easy, it's a solid shape, the gloves a little harder, but the fingers would be 5 seperate shapes in themselves, then the shoulders become a nightmare altogether, cause a) the shape is not easy to draw, and b) all 4 elements I describe above would have to curve and follow the light source... package in your jacket, pants and shoes, and what starts out as a simple piece becomes multiplied by 14 because of those "metallic" details.
It's not that I couldn't do it, but it wouldn't be a 2-3hour process like the 2 I've already done, it would be a whole day affair. If I add in all the other people who want metallic costumes, I'm looking at the end of time in my opinion, where it never ends, and I get nothing else done.
So I'm very sorry to have to say no, but this is why I say no robots, and why this time out I asked for no metallic pieces. Your costume is cool in my opinion, and normally I would draw it, but it doesn't serve this new style I am trying out at the moment. Perhaps in the future, when I become more adept...
I hope I haven't offended anyone.

The risks i mean is, more cuts... lol but yeah you can try that...

Second Test Piece... going to pick one more from those who have posted, will work on it tomorrow...

Second test piece, while I like parts of it, I think I'm gonna have to do another toon with more risks... still was fun to do, hope you like it Gaderath!

I can't say I've noticed the change, being too close to it and all however I really appreciate the sentiment... anyway back to coloring!

Wings is my favorite Graver piece to date... it's all down here from now on man!

I have no pity for this hero gone bad...

You're very welcome, sorry you'll have to wait for the final color, but here are the Flats! Gotta run my son up to college, be back in 3 hrs... see you then. Shouldn't take more than an hour to color, this is why I asked for simple costumes.
