a) Be gender specific: Man, Woman, Guy, Gal, Lady, Girl, Lad, Lass, Boy,
b) Can attach He, She, Mr., Mrs., Ms., Miss, or Dr. to front of name.

You can consider japanese "suffixes" as : -shin, -sama, -san, -kun or -chan (approximatively highest to lowest).
2/ Be prudent with foreigns names, some can possess other senses, contrary to your ideas.
