Thanks Stego, I'm glad you like the phantom army I wasn't sure if they looked a little out of place because of the lack of lines.
-
Hey thanks for the kind words guys, especially when this kind of drawing style isn't your cup of tea.
You're right about the wobbliness even in this cartoony style I think it's my line work that needs the most improvement.
But I'm enjoying trying out a new style and what I hope is that you guys can see some kind of improvement/progress in each of the pictures I post. -
Another hero of mine Inchiki is a Japanese magician with the powers of illusion and weather control.
I'm quite pleased with how this one turned out especially his phantom army emerging from the mist (which was a last minute addition), enjoy (I hope).

Time for a villain this time, this is my brothers character (so haven't got a screenshot yet) I think thats why a put a little more into it (more shading and highlighting than the others and the inclusion Jack's gang) so here it is
Deadhand Jack:

I've been trying something new with these co-x drawings (I usually draw in a manga style) so any advice, comments or pointers would be helpful. -
I like them especially the close-up, well drawn and proportioned, the sketchy style looks great too!
-
Very nice, you certainly make the best co-x movies I have seen.

Ok here''s the second of my coh characters, he's mutant Panther scrapper called Bagheera. (Yes it is a name from the Jungle Book but it is also the Hindi word for Panther)

I'm not too happy with the hands/claws and being a claws scrapper has come out rather wolverine-esque (unintended this time) but on the whole I'm quite happy with it.
let me know what you think, all comments welcome. -
thanks for the advice I appreciate it, haven't drawn in quite some time so any pointers are welcome.
Artic_princess, Yeah I would like to draw a proper background for him at some point I did the generic coh type background mainly because it was quick and easy and can be used for other characters in a pinch, as for the rooftop thing I think best keep him off rooftops for copyright reasons
Shadowghost, I see what you mean about the finger as the tech-banded glove is supposed to be a metal/robotic hand in coh but that is not how I have chosen to interpret it on Kuraikaze, his left arm is a normal human arm and the tech banded glove is there because (to my mind) it looks like a really awesome sword guard, so the wrist part is metallic but the glove is material, also I tried to draw it as a mix between Comic book style and graffiti style (but I don't know if that came across very well) so it may be a little cartoony which may also explain why the fingers/hand look a little off as they are quite heavily exaggerated.
Thank you both for the advice and comments, strange really as I thought it was the robotic arm that would draw the most criticism, it took me ages to get it looking acceptable and I'm still not 100% happy with it (but I suppose I rarely am when it comes to my drawings)
p.s will add a character bio soon to give a little background on my heroes as I post them. -
Hi There I'm new to the creative boards thought I would share some recent artwork of my coh characters, they're a bit sketchy but on the whole I'm quite pleased with them
so here is the first Kuraikaze:

As you may have guessed the picture that inspired this was from a Spiderman comic, this drawing was not traced but it didn't seem right not to mention where I got the inspiration for Kuraikaze's pose in this picture.
All comments welcome, let me know if you liked it (or if it made you physically ill)
