    From the April 7, 2009 Patch Notes:
    "Recharge times on pet attack powers will no longer be affected by any outside source. This includes buffs and debuffs. What this means is that pets can no longer have the recharge time on their powers increased by player buffs (like Speed Boost) or their recharge time decreased by player or NPC debuffs. This change was made to allow pets to correctly cycle through their attacks instead of getting locked on using the same attack over and over and neglecting to use other available powers."

    So is this limited to only external buffs from players and NPCs? Does this include slotted IOs also? Are IOs considered an "outside source"? How do I check in game using the Numbers?

  6. So after reading the above thread I was inspired to try out a build myself that would be the highest Def(Melee) possible. (Well maybe not the highest but still pretty high.) What do you think of the below? (Edited to squeeze in a tiny bit more Def(Melee).)

    Mid's says that with the toggles on I'd get:
    41.9% Melee
    36.6% AoE
    30.3% Ranged

    Not bad.

  7. I'm having a hard time re-creating the Defs in the 40%s. It may be a Mid's error, I'm not sure. Any help is appreciated.

    If I copy the text blurb, it comes out as noted in the post (low 40%s) in Mids. However, if I re-create it from scratch, I only get the high 30%s.

    Conversely, if I start with the text blurb and remove everything except for the unenhanced base powers, it is still a few percent higher that if I start from scratch and add in the few base powers.

    Can anyone else give a shot at re-creating the build and report their numbers? (BTW, my Mids is current and fully updated.)
