I'm having the same issue. Anything that requires me to zone in any fashion can trigger the disconnect. Zoning into missions, using Ouro portals, using the tram, etc. It isn't consistent, either. Sometimes I can go 5+ missions without any problems, then bam, on the 6th, I disconnect. Other times, I get multiple disconnections in a row.

It's been said on the boards that each new issue of COH give less and less leeway for "concept characters" to survive. One of the stated goals by the devs was to have a system that was essentially "gimp-proof." But because the way that some people have been able to play their ATs exceptionally well, they've taken more and more away from everyone. The exceptional player, who reads the forums, and studies the numbers behind the game via hero planner and damage per second parsers has been able to keep pace. I've done fine with my tank. I don't feel *that* gimped. But I've had to ditch a lot of my treasured concepts for cold hard min max gaming reality to still kick butt in a way that satisfies me at the end of the day. But where does this leave the casual players? In gamer's hell. It sucks when casual players (or newbies to a particular AT) ask questions and they get the inevitable response of "well *I* doing great, so you're wrong and don't know anything you're talking about, so go back to playing your old archetype, which btw is teh suq." I have friends that play more casually, and they get really frustrated with how things are. I suggest that they use Hero Planner or scour the boards for more info to make their time easier. Their response? "If it takes that much work to have fun then it isn't fun anymore." I have a high tolerance for rooting out info. Others don't. This is a problem and I really hope the devs look into it more closely and with a mind for people other than the veterans. -
P.R.I.S.M. High is allied with P.R.I.S.M. (Paragon Rescue Initiative to Save Mankind), but operates as an independent entity, with its own membership criteria. All are welcome, regardless of gender, race, archetype, origin, role-play style, PVP-interest, or sexual orientation (the student body president happens to be "happy"). Though this is a Super High School, adult characters are welcome to join, since what high school functions without an adult faculty? And when enrolling in PRISM High, you are a full member from the very start, with all the rights, privileges and responsibilities.
Through exemplary service, you may be nominated for a student body officer position, with the ability to process new members without the supervision. However, all new memberships will be reviewed by the student body president. Furthermore, while students are encouraged to form all manners of clubs, there will be **NO** Drama Club at PRISM High. If any student (or teacher!) is found to be a source of drama, dismissal will be swift.
PRISM High plans on plenty of events for the future, including field trips to high level zones for new students (group fly for a great view!), school dances, costume contests (choice between 1 million influence or a Hamidon Enhancement as a prize) and friendly competitions with other teen SGs in the arena (hey Nemesis Kids!). So if one of your characters is a wild teen(!) or a stern disciplinarian(!!), consider signing on with PRISM High!

PVP is a mixed bag for me. But I've found that winning against bitter people can actually be less fun than losing to people who are upbeat, friendly players.
Last night I had the honor of taking on a team lead by Winter Man. I think it was 5 vs 5. His team had the "homecourt advantage" in that they knew each other while my team consisted of strangers. I don't remember the names of all the members of Winter Man's team, but Trak is burned in my memory from the moment he sapped all my endurance and I watched all my toggles drop. OW! Trak triggered my "die sapper, die die" instincts, so I rushed him every chance I got. But his teammates didn't let him down. The team of friends beat the team of strangers, as it should be. But even though I lost, it was a really fun match, and Winter Man and his team never trash talked or belittled us.
