Thanks for another excellent update to the series, EG! You've kept my created-way-back-in-I1 regen scrapping for the past 5 issues.
One little suggestion: semicolons to seperate the enhancements in lists would be very helpful.

Numina's Convalescence Heal/End, Numina's Convalescence Heal/Recharge, Numina's Convalescence Heal, Numina's +recovery, +regen, Miracle +recovery, Regenerative Tissue +regen

I had a little trouble figuring out how many enhancements were in that list (been out of game for a while and don't yet know my IOs by heart!)
Thanks again,

Excellent guide, thank you for putting it together. I've been meaning to make by ice/ice ED-compliant for some time now and this was exactly what I needed.
For the pools, I'm going with Fitness (swift/health/stamina as I always seem low on the last), Leaping (CJ, SJ, Acrobatics as I really like the extra protections on chars that otherwise don't have them), and Speed (hasten, maybe SS, though I'm wondering if it'd be possible to get by without hasten.)
For the concept, I have to take Cold Mastery. I'm getting Flash Freeze instead of Frozen Aura, because (1) it looks damn cool and (2) it gets me to Frozen Armor and Hibernate.
Look forward to seeing your pool recommendations. -

And a confirmation dialog when leaving a channel. Right now I know a lot of people are making the mistake of clicking the "Leave" button to try to close the "Channel Members" window. This will leave the channel, but not close the window, and you then have to re-invite them.

Yes, please. I've accidentally removed myself from channels, and in the case of private ones, there's not always an operator available to re-invite.
Now if I could only figure out how I sometimes accidentally switch the channel into which I'm chatting... -
Thanks for the info, very useful!
I'll by no means claim to have done comprehensive testing, but here're a some numbers for a few of the Controller Epics:
Mind Over Body
base 30% smash and lethal resistance
base 20% psionics resistance
Temp Invulnerability
base 32.5% lethal and smashing resistance
Conserve Power
90 second duration
10 minute recharge (perma-haste alone takes it down to 6 min)
decreases casting cost to 1/3 (so if your power costs 39 endurance to activate, with conserve power on, it now costs only 13)
No numbers to back it up, but Power Boost rocks! -
I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one experiencing a severe drop-off in the number of lieutenants and bosses in missions since the patch on Feb. 1.
Between Issue 3 and the patch, I ran the "Melvin and the Mysterious Malta Group" arc given by Indigo. Through most of it, I duo-ed with difficulty set to invincible. We regularly found groups of 2 lieutenants plus 4-8 minions, with a boss mixed in about every 5 groups; the mobs averaged +3 levels. The challenge was exactly what I wanted, demanding superb teamwork and solid tactics. Even a little bad luck (e.g., a hold missing) meant we'd be taking a dirt nap. It was the most fun I've had in half a year of playing.
Since the patch, we've started on the "Praetorian War" arc given by Tina Macintyre. Same duo, same invincible setting. The lieutenants and bosses are MIA. The typical group is now 4-8 minions. In the "Stop the battle" mission, a huge outdoor defeat all map, there were probably at least 50 groups of mobs. Out of that, only one--one!--group had 2 lieutenants, and there were only two minions in that group. The only boss to be seen was the named Atomic Warfare. He was "fighting" a lieutenant, The Brain Tease.
I've no problem with the bosses being rolled back in difficulty; the one shot was pretty annoying. But the spawns types appear to have been affected as well. I mostly duoed prior to Issue 3, and I certainly don't remember the near-complete lack of lieutenants and bosses that I'm now seeing.
Please look into this, States. Invincible is currently a cake walk, and I don't even want to look at the lower settings. -
Excellent, please implement as soon as possible. I frequently use shift+# to select team mates, but I've only gotten myself into trouble by accidentally hitting ctrl+# then wondering why my powers weren't firing. (I even specifically unbond ctrl+# to avoid that.)
