Oh come on... fire tankers were already ballanced. The power of burn was offset by the fact that it was boring as hell (no pun intended).
Myself and several others I know scrapped our burn tankers for that very fact... its not fun.
These changes were totally unnecessary, especially with the upcoming changes to herding.
You devs just don't know when to stop -
I like the idea of defiance... but I feel it does nothing to help the blaster in reality.
Bottom line is, blasters either have full health, or they get a little aggro and die instantly. The time between 100% and 0 is usually very small... this was somewhat negated through taking the EPPs (which still screws you over in the pre-40 game), but with the new changes to resist/defence, even those dont help very much.
I could only really come up with 2 'fixes'
1) Make defiance kick in at higher health levels
2) Just remove/lessen the Blaster's ability to get debt. Sounds stupid, I suppose, but dying sorta goes along with being a blaster. If you have no resists, are super squishy, and deal lots of damage, you are bound to get aggro, and you are bound to die. -
1) An Epic AT that is actually Epic
2) Make DA Actually good. This doesnt just mean make the armors stack... there would be major endo problems if they did. Heck, there are major endo problems as is...
3) Make effects optinal. I spent a lot of thought into my characters costume but it doesnt really matter because all anyone sees when they look at me is a big ugly green light (i'm regen). This is even worse with DA, Ice, etc.
4) New powersets
5) Maximum amount of influence allowable to trade raised to 999999
6) I really like the idea of a Casino. Have something like slot machines, blackjack, etc. It would be really fun to play texas hold em with you're supergroup IMO
