All of the suggestion I read are awesome. I think some of then made there way into the game since the orginal post. Here's one that I'd like to add.

Type: Unlocked by SG Trail & Crafted
Description: Tired of losing all of the components (such as materials, power & etc) when you need to get rid of those crafted base items? Having the Harvester will recoup half of the components used to make to item.
Limitations: Restricted use for members who have Edit Base access.
