Held our second Fight Night, today was a lot of fun unfortunately had some mishaps. One was a disagreement over the sudden death. The match between Deaths punisher and Haunting should not have gone into a rematch. After running several tests afterwards if no one dies in sudden death it is in fact a draw. The results from the first match should have held, and Death and Screaming should have advanced to the final round. I do appologize for this and will work to keep such things from happening again.
On another note, does anyone thing we should allow travel suppression?

As for winning the first night I was rather suprised. But hey I can't help it if im just that uber. LMAO J/K, I actually lost to the guy when we where killing time for people to show up.

Fight Night is Sunday at 10pm Easter, 9 Cenral and 7 Pacific in Pocket D. Bring a buddy and 10 mill a piece to enter. This too will be a bracket style winner takes all contest. The team gets to decide how they split the winnings.

Arena temp powers allowed.
This time I will make sure I start recruiting for the event an hour early. 20 min wasn't enough. As for the line up they will be signed up in the order they pay their fee. As for my team (still need a partner) I pick a random spot, and sign my name there, that way I don't know who I'm fighting till they get there. I don't know of a better way so if someone has an idea I'm all ears.
If your partner doesn't show, you can always pick one up last minute, if need be. I would like these to be a rather flexible Fight Nights, makes it more fun.

We had our first fight night (think im gonna call it that too) last night. 10 people showed up was a nice 100 mill pot.
While cruzin the channels for peeps to join I told em next week will be a 2v2 bracket style Fight Night. I was also thinkin the next week will be a ffa. This way people of all fighting styles can join and have some fun. Same rules and such, winner takes all.
Lets all spread the word and make some money and have some fun.

insperations = tier one from the pocket d salesman
temp powers = those bought at the arena/ pocket d

There is no sign up to join you can just show up, but it would be nice if peeps posted they were coming, it would let others know if there is an interest, and if its worth going to. It will also be hosted in pocket d, so that money can be transfered. When you show up let me know and I will but you in the roster, that way its random on who you fight.
If there are late comers they may be allowed to join, up to 30 min after we start.

Thats a good idea, I never did figure out why it did that. Leave it to the devs to come up with that system.

I am starting a new thing for pvp, trying it out see how it goes.
Sunday nights at 10 pm eastern I am hosting a 10 mill influence or infamy buy in 1v1 bracket match. Brackets will be filled on a first come first serve basis, winner takes all. I have toons on blue side and red side and am willing to to transfer the winnings in either influence or infamy to the winner. My alt account will hold the money till the end, yes I plan on participating. With a simple head count we can figure out what the pot is and there won't be any theft or disagreements on that part. Winners will be determined by the arena scoreboard, not most kills, or damage. Because of sudden death there should be no draws, if there is there will be a rematch of the 2 fighters.

I would love to hear anybodies thoughts on this, I plan on hosting it this weekend on Oct. 25th. If you see any problems or have any ideas please make a post.

I admit I'm having trouble staying interested in this, I believe my partner wants to call it quits, and I'm having trouble convincing him to stay. I believe the problem with this episode is there wasn't enough planning. The rules and set up were great, I think the problem started when people showed up after the roster was set. Also postponing the events has really killed it. I do have a problem with crevo running the listings cuz well I got yelled at for wanting to help, and now hes doing it, a bit hypocritical huh? I did have an idea though if we ever restart this thing, which I am all for. Make the roster ahead of time, then when the teams sign up just put them in place on the board and there is no bias, and people cant complain. Also make it big enough to grow. If another team joins in later, let em start at 0 points and work their way up.
