The dragon paused.
~My master is not Lord H'taed, but Lord Diov. I am but an aspect of his will...And the actual chances of him bending to your will is a great deal less then zero. Needless to say, I know perfectly well I am heading for my doom, but anything is better then existing here in the Dimension of Mists."
The dragon suddenly seemed to smirk.
"And ask yourself this. Can 't you feel it? Many of the creatures here have free will. They could leave if they chose to. But why don't they? There is more to this place then first glance then it suggests. You do not know the secret of the Infinite Mists..."
Now the swirling spell had finished.
"But alas, my time upon this plane grows short. My rightful place between them and your world grows short."
And the ball of swirling energy suddenly shoit mforward..and stopped midair.
It began to widen, growing beigger. And bigger. And bigger...
The dragon faded and was consumed by its own spell.
The entire lower hemisphere of the dome had been filled by the strange stuff. And the sea of destructive energies was still rising...and rising...up toawards Alex.
-----
Lord H'taed yawned from outside the dome of energy, the traces from his last spell complete. He had reinforced the dome, Alex would have to have the power of the devil himself to burst through it now. And the anti-teleportation and shifting field he had erected might stop her to. He didn't expect this to stop her, but it would probably halt her long enough for the dragon's spell to do at least a modicom of damage.
Lord H'taed flipped the device, which he had recovered from the stomach of the dragon, into the air then caught it again.
"Time to go..."
And he vanished.
(I'll announce where he went next post.) -
((Alex's I believe...Dragon is conjuring a huge goo bomb thingie.))
-
((Sigh. How ignorant. You don't know ANYTHING about him obviously. Now can we please argue about this in PMs from now on?))
-
((Sniker Sniker.
No. You couldn't. I have Thunderbug backing me up on this one. She knows what Diov can do.
He'd just sneeze and blow your dimension into nothingness, but that's beside the point.)) -
((I don't know, you're giving me a good run for my money. And if I'm right, Alex is supposedly even more powerful then you.))
As Krystell watched from her little window.
The giant eye came back. ((check my post underneath Thunderbug's previous post for the specs on it.))
It's gigantic surface completely eclipsed Krystell's view.
Several of the long green tendrils brushed against the viewing portal...
And the energies reacted with it...
Allowing the tendrils to seeth through the new window and towards Krystell. -
Only the energy Krystell had power sinked away quickly came rushing back.
Lord H'taed, being in constant exposure of moves and abilities that drained power and energy, had formed a very high resistance to such effects.
As of such, his ritual was now complete.
"I'm sorry my dear. You're a second late. One second is one second too many, however..."
He opened his hands.
The tiny black dot was still there.
"Say hello to this. Its name is miniaturized black hole. I'm safe from it, because, well, I created it...And tghe dragon is safe from it, as it is composed of negative energy, and doesn't really exist in the mental spiritual or mental senses...You, however..."
H'taed shook his head sadly.
The block of solidified air was instantly sucked into the black depths.
The hammer of air was ripped right out of Krystell's grip, and it too was consigned to the Abyss.
And Krystell now felt the monsterous pull of the black hole herself. Super speeding would do her absolutel nothing now, she had passed the point of no return when she came in close to use power sink.
"Adios." Lord H'taed said as he walked merrilly away. -
The energy that had been blown away simply floated back towards him.
Bu Krystell was probably able to see for a split second that the energy was gone...
There was a tiny little black dot in between H'taed's weaving hands.
Then the purple energies blocked her view again.
The same thing happened again, however. The floor erupted again, and the cacoon reformed, completely blocking all of the wind slices.
The cacoon sank back into the ground.
"Ok, the wind is getting annoying. MY PET, STOP THAT WIND!"
Suddenly the air in the stomach seemed to get...heavier.
"My pet her has sprayed a special chemical into the air within its stomach. It considerably makes it heavier, and makes it bond with carbon dioxide. I'm afraid you can't use anymore air attacks, considering the air in here is now so sluggish and heavy.
Oh, and you'll probably have trouble breathing as well. But as a being of almost pure energy, I don't have that problem."
Lord H'taed laughed, and continued to weave. Only now the purple energies were radiating around him at enormous speeds. It seemed whatever he was doing was almost finished. -
((we're on a platform? We're in a STOMACH!))
H'taed just continued to hum and weave.
Right before the wind strikes hit...
There was a huge explosion of meat, gore, and blood as the entire floor suddenly burst upwards, forming a protective cacoon around H'taed. Thed sharpened wind strikes tore the wall of meat to shreds, but left H'taed completely unharmed.
The cacoon slowly sank back into the fleshy floor.
H'taed continued to hum and weave, however the pitch of his voice was a little lower, and the energies about him were getting bigger and bright by the second. -
H'taed simply continued to hum his little tune and weave patterns in the air. The purple energies gathering around him had thickened somewhat.
-
((Little thing called Gravity, my good sir! Here's an example for you to consider...
H'taed can still be grounded on top of a skyscraper, even though its hiiiiiiiiiigh in the air! Because of gravity and electricity seeking the ground!
Correction. Electricity does not strictly seek the GROUND, it seeks a DOWNWARD PULL at all times.)) -
H'taed simply stood non-plused, and yawned as the hurricane blew right past him.
"Electricity. Grounded. Yada-yada-yada."
Suddenly, a huge vein-riddled bubble at the top of the stomach chamber popped open...And a huge stream of acidic chemecials and fluids dumped themselves ocer Krystell.
Lord H'taed started to whistle a merry tune, and weaved his hands to and fro, purple energies gathering about his form. -
((Yes, but considering that Lord H'taed is the AVATAR OF LIGHTNING...
and that he has used the stuff for god knows how long...
I'm fairly sure his manipulation over the stuff overpowers yours every day.))
In a flash, Lord H'taed was right in front of her. He reached out with the palm of hois hand, and planted it right on the ball of energy.
"Mine."
and in a flash of light, he absorbed the energy into himself.
"I think YOU'RE going to need to come up with a new idea. I can dodge and absorb your attacks all day long. And as for MY new plan...ATTACK!"
Suddenly, the meaty ground beneath Krystell seemed to quiver...
Before the entire thing erupted in a giant storm of muscle, gore, and pulpy meat. The stuff climbed up Krystell, holding her in place.
"Now you're not only fighting me. You're fighting the entire battle field."
And with that, H'taed conjured his maces again, and swung them forward. -
((Still going strong. Keep it up.
So THAT'S how you managed to squeeze Devious in...I thought Krieg was going to be him. XD
Silly me... -
H'taed vanished in a flash.
He reappeared a few yards away.
"I see now...Nobody could have done that unless..."
He glared straight at Krystell.
"You're a mimic arn't you? You can copy the abilities and powers of others. I said it once, I will say it again. Aoleleb was stronger then you. You have to rely on the strengths of others to be able to do anything. And that's not all...You may be able to copy my powers...But can you use them with the same skill or tactics?"
Lord H'taed conjured his mud maces again.
"And remember, I'm an avartar of lightning. Not an ordinary super with flashy powers. I garuntee you that things will not very smoothly for you if you continue to try and mimic me. It might be...shocking..."
And with that, he accelerated towards Krystell again, mud maces twirling in an intricate pattern.
"If she tries to stop my attacks again with that little trick of hers, she'll be in for a surprise..." H'taed thought.
((Ok I was getting irratated with the holdup. Krystell can copy/mimic any powers she sees. Element told me in a PM. Point being, I needed a way to counter this ability of hers without simultaniously confusing everybody else in the process. Just thought I'd mention it.)) -
Lord H'taed vanished again, gone in a blur of static.
And the next second he had conjured two mud maces in both hands. One he aimed at Krystell's feet, another he aimed at her hands, intending to knock the sword out of them. -
The Dragon reached out with its hands and PUNCHED the energy field. While the field held firm, it stopped the dragon's momentum enough for it to steady its self.
The massive beast turned around and glared at Alex with its glowing red eyes.
It suddenly thrust its giant fists forward, and blood red energy began to form. Purple lines and links of energy crisscrossed and swirled around this ball of energy...
The dragon's swaying motions as it conjured this stuff changed. It began to leave tiny trails of its self behind it...Almost like aferimages, and time seemed to literally slow down. Voices that echoed from everywhere and nowhere at once, each overlapping with another, repeating an endless pattern before suddenly switching off to another.
And all the while the ball of energy grew, greedily devouring the space in between the dragon's hands. -
((Congrats on the new char nether!
Erm...Some bad news though...
Krystell also tried to fly through the mists...And she ran into several difficulties.
Say hello.))
And suddenly, Shoshemi felt something smack against the back of her force field.
Below her was a gigantic eye. An EYE. The entine thing was easily larger then the moon of the Earth. Its vastness eclipsed everything below her. Extending from the blood red iris of the massive orb were thousands...MILLIONS of tendrils made entirely of pulsing green energies. Veins of blood the size of office buildings crisscrossed from below the point in the mists up to the single black center of the thing.
The black spot on the eye wasn't a black spot though.
It was a black hole, devouring everything in its path apart from the eye.
One of the tendrils had smacked against Shoshemi's force field, but it didn't look like the actual creature had noticed her yet.
It slowly sank back into the mists. The only evidence it had ever been there was the glow of green tendrils as they stretched through the endless oblivion of the mists.
((PSYCH! No, I didn't actually do anything.
Yet.))
-----
In the stomach of the dragon...
-----
Only Lord H'taed was no longer in front of Krstell. He was now behind her. His Lightning Reflexes kicking in the second she had left his field of vision.
His newly conjured mud mace descended upon her now vulnerable back. -
The dragon pulled out a new trick this time.
Its en tire body seemed to explode, and all the chunks and pieces of its skin seemed to degrade into a floating pulsing black goo. All these globs scattered about...
And started to reform AROUND Krystell...
And in the blink of an eye, The dragon had entirely reformed.
-----
In the stomach of the dragon.
-----
Krystell found herself in a very bad place to be.
The stomach of the dragon.
Everything was meat and gore, with purple ooze dribbling from all around. The wall pulsed and quivered...
And strangely enough, the place was bigger then it was on the outside. The entire stomach was easily over a hundred feet wide in every direction. Bigger then the actual dragon.
"In case you are wondering..." Said a voice from behind her.
"The reason this place can be so big is because of my master's manipulations. It is standard procedure for him to bend time and space around his creations to give them special aspects. This dragon was no exception. He expanded the inside of it. While the actual body is only what? Seventy or so feet tall, forty or so feet wide? Whereas this space you stand in here...The entire inside of this dragon is easily over several dozen miles large. Interesting concept, don't you agree?"
Lord H'taed stood upon a giant pedestal of meat not far away.
"But that is aside the point. Shall we fight?" And with that, he conjured his mud mace.
-----
Back outside the dragon...
-----
The beast seemed to almost grin at Alex.
It started to charge forward at frightening speed, its giant hands, claws beared, lashing out towards her. -
He yawned, extended his hand, and simply absorbed the attack through the palm of his armored hand.
(I love energy sink.)
"Aoleleb fought better then you. You're supposedly a stronger fighter then him? HA! I know toothpicks that could do more damage to me then you have."
The dragon roared again, and conjured two gigantic fireballs in both hands. It breathed traces of negatiuve energy into these...
Then threw the negative fire balls at the pair, along with a another huge stream of negative energy breath again.
The wave rose over the dragon's head for a moment, obscuring Lord H'taed...
and when it fell away again, he was no longer there. He had bolted away somewhere, waiting for his opprotune moment to strike. -
The wave of gooey energy simply blew right past the dragon with no visible effects.
"Hell will have to freeze over before a dragon is born that isn't immune to its own breath, my sweet. You'll have to do better then that."
Then the dragon flapped its wings, and floated into the air...
Then crashed back down to the stgone earth. Two things happened.
The stone split and cracked, and a giant fissure with several stony fingers erupting from it appeared. This formed a jagged line, and the fissure and the giant crushing assault of wrenching and toiling rocks and boulders started to head right for Kystell and Alex.
The second thing was the huge shockwave that was also heading for them.
(Mwahahaha!) -
((Ok got it.))
And suddenly...The ball of energy started to shrink. It grew smaller and smaller until it was only the size of an eight ball.
And the source of problem was revealed.
Lord H'taed stood in the air, his hand entrenched in the ball of energy, slowly draining it away to fuel his own might.
"Naughty Naughty. I don't like what you're doing to my poor pet. He hasn't been fed for centuries, and here you are depriving him of a good meal. Shame on you..."
The last of the energy ball drained into Lord H'taed. He then suddenly dropped out of the air, and onto the dragon's head.
"Go my pet! DESTROY THEM!"
The dragon roared again, and breathed another torrent of pure negative energy at the two beings.
Lord H'taed aimed a fist at the stream, and shot a single beam of electrical energy at it...
The huge wave of electrical and negative energies fused, forming a bloody red crackling flood of destructive goo, heading right for Alex and Krystell. -
((Fer the love of crap...Ok let's see, I''ll delete that last post after this one then.
And again, can we please keep all these OOC posts strictly in PMs from now on?
One moment whilst I THINK of something...)) -
((He's about 50ish feet tall...but he's kinda hunching over, so he's more around seventy feet when he's not slouching. EDITING))
