  1. ((And whoever said I couldn't just snatch a member of the council from an alternate reality? Diov does have the means to hold one, he's captured gods before, he can hold onto a council member.

Now this is assuming that there CAN be more then one council with the alternate reality thing...If not, I have a backup plan anyway, so I wouldn't be too horrified.))

    Noitpeced rolled his eyes.

"Oh don't give me that, I know for a fact that you feel FINE. Desception will do you no good here, young one."
  2. "Oh no, not at all. We arn't paid, we have no benefits, no retirement plan, and we all have a life expectancy of three days maximum. If you really want to know the details, go to the information room after you've gone through processing." Mr. White said in a bored voice.

The three passed through the scanner...

    -----

    Krystell's Scan...

    *Scanning initiated. Completeing...Finished.

    Data:

Powers: Elemental, scans of thought patterns indicate known techniques to copy other super-natural abilities.

Suggestion Method: An ordinary drain for subject's main power is an order. The Ritual should prevent her from using her mimicing ability if she attempts to copy anything more threatening then a tea cozy.

Suggested Watch: The standard nanite injection should be sufficient.

    -----

    Shoshemi's Scan

    Data:

Powers: Force Field manipulation, Various Control powers. Thought pattern scans indicate the knowledge of several martial arts.

Suggested Method: Nanite Cranial Surgery. This should remove all abilities to conjure force fields, as well as negate all control effects. There is also a fair chance that this should force her to "forget" any martial arts the subject may know. If the nanites fail in that regard, the standard ritual should prevent her from using them.

Suggested Watch: The standard injected nanites should be sufficient.

    -----

    Alex's Scan

    Data:

    Powers: Scan overload.

Suggested Method: A link has been detected between the subject and a host of universal beings that call themselves "The Council." Simply hold one member of this organization hostage from another reality. Recomend that the hostage is ALREADY IS CAPTIVITY. Capturing a free member of the council will be difficult. If all else fails, threaten to blow any random planet into oblivion.

Suggested Watch: No less then standard Nanites, two full squads of Husks, five drones, ten dimensional experts, and at least two A.I.

    -----

    Scans complete.

    -----

OOC: Note that this scan is not being shown to any of you.

Beyond the wall was a station with two mechanical arms extending out of the walls. One contained a vial of clear liquid, the other, a vial of purple liquid. As the three passed the station one by one, they were injected in both arms by the mechanical arms as they passed by.

After that was another wall of red liquid. As they passed through that wall...

Both Krystell and Shoshemi felt a huge absence in them. As if something that was a part of them was now gone, leaving an empty hole in their bodies.

Then, finally, the end of the conveyor belt was ahead of them. It emerged into a completely cubical room, with a single door on the opposite end. The smiling hologram of Noitpeced waited for them by the door.

"I hope you have enjoyed being processed. One minor note, however...A few of the enforcers called down a moment ago, they have something they would like to show YOU." He pointed at Alex.

"Until then, I am afraid you will have to wait in this room. They should be down in just a few minutes though, so please feel free to stretch your legs, or help yourself to the refreashments.

In the corner of the room was a plain cylendrical silver table with two strange cube-like machines on it.

One was labeled "Food. Speak Clearly."

    The other "Drink. Speak Clearly."

Set before the machines were plain green pads.

"Just speak what you want and it will give it to you. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Don't get too comfortable, however, you're only going to be here for a few more minutes."
  3. 0.o

    *Peers*

Well I'm eager to see exactly HOW Bear changes...

    Let's see...Wyvern...

    Hmmmm...

    . . . . .

    (checks book)

*Buy big turky...Buy big [censored] of gifts...Make donation...Go to Bob's house, give raise, save Tim's life...Yadayadayada...*

    (Glances at Bear)

Hell will have to freeze over first.

    (Mr. Kuro walks in)

Sir, Essex's awsomeness HAS made hell freeze over.

    ...Oh...
  4. And as the three stepped onto the pad, they vanished...

And reappeared in another similer hallway. With a few key differances.

1: The entire floor was one long conveyor belt.

    2: The walls were transparent.

3: Ahead of them were a series of "walls" made of gooey see-through multi-colored likquids.

Through the window they could see men moving about from various pieces of machinery, pressing buttons, pulling levers, and such. Several of them were performing some kind of ritual in the center of the room, with plenty of flashy explosions of energy to prove it. A few people where throwing random objects from sacks into a bottemless pit, and others where taking turns jumping into a blazing inferno in the corner of a room.

And all of them appeared to be thugs. Asonists, crackshots, enforcers, bruisers, the whole deal.

One enforcer was looking through the transparent wall at them, and was talking through a speaker phone.

"My name is Mr. White. I will be your guide for today's processing. The first wall you will observe directly in front of you will scan you so we may best determine how to drain you of your powers. Please hold still."

The converyor belt started to move, and carried them towards the first of the multi-colored liquid walls.

((Lord Diov is a thugs/darkness MM in reality, so his minions are all thugs...))
  5. ((I'll wait for all of you to step on before I activate the rift pad.))
  6. Noitpeced smile widened a tad.

"Excelent! Please step on the rift pad, it shall take you to the processing station."

The door swung open. Before the three stood a red reflective pad of metal sticking out of the silvery floor.
  7. Noitpeced's smile was still firm.

"H'taed, as far as I know, is in his room...However, it is in a restricted area. So be processed, THEN take up your deal with him, or LEAVE."

    Then Noitpeced rounded on Alex.

"And I don't care if you had all of existance backing you up, my dear girl. Within these halls, you are just another meat-sack. So say what you will, think what you will, but you only have two choices."
  8. Noitpeced continued to smile, although he had now narrowed his eyes.

"Either you can go through processing or you may leave. If you have any complaints you can take them up with Lord Diov. And what do you know, he's not here right now, so that narrows down your choices considerably. After processing, you may do what you wish...If you are still able to do it, that is. Otherwise, I will be forced to...remove you...from here."
  9. "It's really not that hard to drain water from a rock. But that's aside the point. You are free to beleive in what you will, but once you have gone through this process, you will find yourselves a great deal more docile then you are now. So choose. Yes or no?"

    The hologram continued to smile.
  10. Noitpeced's grin remained firmly stable.

"Oh, we simply remove and drain all your powers, inject you with explosive nanites, scan you with a thermo-dimensional flux wave, and bind you into a trans-arcane pact which restricts you from engaging in any form of hostile activity. Of course, once you leave, all said procedure's are reversed."
  11. "Here we are..." Noitpeced stopped before a door labeled

    "Processing."

    He turned to the three.

"I am afraid you are not allowed into restricted areas before you have been processed. It shall only take a few minutes, and it is a completely painless procedure. Of course, we would still like your consent...However unneccesary it really is."

    The hologram smiled easily.
  12. "Oh, and Lord H'taed, yes he did mention guests would be stopping by...Please follow me."

The hologram started to drift down the corridor.
  13. Noitpeced's frown suddenly turned into a scowl.

    "ALL OF YOU SHUT. UP."

    a moment passed.

"To answer all your questions...YES, both those Earth's have recently been repositioned in their orbit, both have been nearly destroyed, but she did not move BOTH of them, someone else did in another case, and your question about yourself narrows it down to Primal Earth number 234,666,823."
  14. ((Gawd so much cross posting! Slow down, give me time to say something!))

    Noitpeced then turned to Shoshemi.

"And you. We havn't had a being like you here in a long time. However I am confused about which avatar you want. We have over 123,765,253,916,234,347,890,346,928,709,265,207,65 2,307,623,047,643,207,563,420,653,046,503,636,023, 650,334,078,632,456,243,650,324,235 avatars on this floor alone.
  15. Noitpeced frowned as Krystell entered.

"I already told the last one of you, I have no control over what dimensions Lord Diov chooses to go and blow up. Now leave the premesis immediately before I lose my temper and throw you into a Dimensional Furnace."
  16. "Well...That's the exact problem. There are some Earth's where the only differance in their history is the time and place of the death of a grasshopper. I predict you are talking about Primal Earth 327, but then again, Primal Earth 127,238 is almost perfectly similer to it. So please, be more specific." The hologram's smile never flickered.
  17. Noitpeced frowned for a moment.

"Please excuse me for a moment young one..." He muttered.

    -----

As Krystell stared through her little viewing window...

Suddenly a haze of static washed over it.

    And another...

Until soon the entire scrying portal had been completely fuzzed out.

Red letters slowly faded into view on the screen.

    "We Regret to Inform You..."

    -----

Noitpeced suddenly smiled, and refocused his attention on Alex.

"My dear girl, which Earth do you speak of? For here in Husk Corporation, we have access to all 942,386,793,209,385,603,265,023,526,235,087,650,67 1,833 of them. You'll have to be a tad more specific about which Earth you want to know about.

    The hologram smiled.
  18. (( >.>
    <.<
    You're bruising my ego here...

    >.< ))

    Alex stepped through the portal...

    -----

    Unknown Dimension

    -----

    Alex stood in a hallway.

It was endlessly long in both directions, ten feet wide and tall. The whole thing was made of a silvery metal, and along the walls were endless lines of doors made of the same. Many of the doors had labels...

    "Stress Impact Room"

    "Barraks number 2367"

    "Cordination Chamber"

    "Security Pod 34987"

    "I-Pod Mind Control"

    "Heaven"

    "Hell"

    "Alternate Time-Tracks, 1-24"

    "Associated Methods"

    "Mad Triple Room"

    "Elevator"

    "Swiss Cheese Manufacturing"

    "Dimensional Furnace"

These doors stretched on endless down the infinitely vast hallway. A plaque against the wall caught Alex's attention...

    "Husk Corporation. Terra Related Doors."

Suddenly, in the hallway, a hologram of a man in a toga appeared.

"Greetings. My name is Noitpeced, official A.I. for Lord Diov. Welcome to Husk Corporation, how may I serve you today?"
  19. The beams slowly converged into a single point...

In the next moment, everyone watching was blinded by pure white light. Nobody could see what was happening at all. And considering noise couldn't travel through space...Well, they couldn't hear much of anything either.

When the light faded the orbs were still there. Only the purple shield was gone, and most if not all the red orbs had been fully risen and healed. But then they all faded away as if they had never existed.

    Krystell had saved the Earth.

But unforunately, she had pretty much destroyed it as well.

What happens when you ride in a car, and you hear and feel that big WHOOSH as air flows past you? The reason it does that is to fill the space the car had previously occupied.

    Same deal here.

The previously filled space was now completely empty. Reality did not like this for some wacked out reason, and began rushing in to fix everything.

In the form of a giant gravity well. It started to suck everything in...

The moon started to shift in orbit...

and then the Earth ceased to orbit and it also started to reverse in direction as it was oulled steadily towards the gravity vortex.
  20. At first it seemed to be working...

Until the dimensional instabilities tore right through the infinite pocket dimension. The red orbs wern't just a pretty fireworks display, they were also sentient. They knew how to get a job done. They just manipulated the beams to shift in place of space and time. Poof, the beams were back on course.

    And worse yet...

Green orbs began to spill out of the portal now. They all quickly zipped to the fallen remains of the red orbs...

And brought them back with an injection of power to their dying cores.

These green orbs started bringing back the red ones at a pace of a million a second. While this wouldn't stop the GoPC, it garunteed the Earth's destruction.

With just a minute to go, the beams had begun to enter the Earth's atmosphere.
  21. Fifteen minutes would not be enough, even with the shielding over Earth. The beams had smacked into the fields, and crunched through them in less then ten seconds.

The GoPC had five minutes max to do this.

Things seemed to go from even bad to worse. The air around the beams was unstable in its self. Dimensional Flux ripped agents apart just by them getting too close.

The purple orbs started to also shoot intense thin strands of energy at agents, disintergrating them on impact.
  22. ((Oh, I would say that's...

    NOWHERE NEAR ENOUGH.

    MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!))

The orbs completely ignored the new enemies and began to fire upon the Earth. Each fired a beam of incinerating dimension instability, with each beam being a little over a mile wide in diameter. Each orb fired around five beams each, times a few trillion...

Still, these beams moved very slowly. They would take a few minutes to impact Earth.

And even worse yet, something new happened.

Out of the portal started to stream PURPLE orbs, but aside from that detail, they were exactly the same as the red orbs.

These orbs all lined up around the red orbs, and projected a gigantic sphereical force field around the entire planet, which was designed to contain the enormous rebound of energy and redirect it back to the source, garunteeing that any left over energy from a planet's destruction could be recycled and reused. However, in this situation, it would also serve as an excelent shield from the GoPC.
  23. "Hello there meat-sacks."

Lord H'taed floated in the mists.

    Or rather, his head did.

Only it was a mile tall and wide.

    And it was a hologram.

"I have fled with the device. And I now give you a choice. Because you are heroes...You will always make the morally right choice. No matter what. But before I present you with said offer...Let me tell you a little secret about this place.

The huge head seemed to drift a little closer, and whispered in a mock hushed voice...

"Lord Diov once created another dimension...It is a giant warehouse, you could say. It contains all the doomsday and world-destroying weapons he's made and never bothered to use. Unfortunately, long ago, one of the said weapons broke free of its suspended animation and caused all hell to break loose. A TINY dimension, plus a whole lot of catastrophically powerful weapons...Not pretty. But anyways, the resulting energies from all the destruction mutated the freed weapon, and it is still trapped...and very pissed..."

"So, here is your CHOICE. I now present you with portal number one!" The next moment, a red portal appeared before them.

"This portal leads to my next location. And now I present you with portal number two!"

With that, another portal opened, and it showed an image...

    Of Earth.

    And somewhat beyond the moon...

    Another portal opened up.

"That portal you see by Earth? That is the portal leading to the doomsday dimension I mentioned previously. The big bad monstrosity is about to come bursting out of it any moment now. Or rather THE monstrositIES."

    And with that...

Millions, billions, no TRILLIONS of orbs of red light started to spill out of the portal in the distance. Each was a third of the size of the moon. All these orbs quickly completely obscured the Earth.

"So here's my offer. Choose portal number one, and fight me. Choose portal number two, and save the Earth from being obliterated. I will warn you right now, those orbs you see are just the first wave. It will take more then just one of you to stop all of them."

    The giant hologram head paused.

"But then again, who cares about Earth? Never very much liked the place. Too sunny. Plus we all know what's in this box is WAAAAAY more important right? In comparison to billions of human lives, and uncountable animal lives, I'm sure this little thing is WAAAAAAAAAY more vital."

    The head chuckled at this.

"Now I am not a patient being. The destruction of Earth will begin in exactly 30 seconds. You get that time to choose which portal you'll be taking. Oh, and I bet you already guessed it, but both portals are one way. No return trips or refunds. You get one choice. Farewell."

And the image of Lord H'taed's head vanished, its laughter echoing throughout the mists.

    ((I did tell ya it was Earth-Shattering didn't I?))
  24. ((My next one is Earth-Shattering. ^.^))
  25. ((Just waiting on Alex and Sho to get out of there before I pull my next little trick.))
