  1. Yep, NCSoft folks were great. Had a good time and tried out some of the other games.

Showed up in costume, the group of us did, but had to leave before that guy dinged 50 for the first time in three years, but we were rooting for him nonetheless. (After all, I'm about 30 months and I don't have a 50 yet.)

    Ex was quite gracious.

Thanks to the whole staff for helping make this year's Gen Con what it was, fun.
  2. I don't know how much off-floor time you will get, but I do have some suggestions.
Eat at the Ram at least once, it's good food and very gamer friendly.
My friends and I are planning on visiting the Super Hero Museum a few blocks from the convention center. (It has a number of items from TV super hero shows and movies.)
If you get the chance, go to the costume contest. It is always fun, but the bonus is this year I will be competing for the first time.
If you get in early, I think there is an Indians game on Wed. The ballpark is really nice and fairly inexpensive.
The Zombie Walk starts about 9PM on Thursday from the Plaza.
Take a look at the Gamer Olympics if you get a chance, it is always good for a laugh. (My oldest son loves competing in it each year and doesn't mind getting beat up by foam weapons... kids, go figure.)
If you catch all those tidbits, you'll be doing better than most folks from the dealer floor.
My friends and I will be prowling the dealer floor in full costume on Sat. before the contest, since we will all be dressed alike, we will be easy to spot. (Look for all the pointing and laughing and we will probably be at the ends of the pointing fingers.)
