I find this whole deal where Golden Girl refers to every single loyalist as a stormtrooper who deservers the guiotene no matter their intentions such as 'I have a family to feed, I'm working with who I can, I have ONLY heard bad things of the resistance, if only someone would present the good parts to me'. Unfortuantely she defends Cleo, who is in her eyes a 'hero'.
Now imagine this and compare:
Option 1: A resistance member automatically assumes that every single loyalist is a punk who deserves to die. In other words, they do NOT take into account the individual(like a dictator ship), they do NOT care to give the person fair trial(alias speaking to them as a person, and deciding on them as a individual, and just executing them wily nilly... like a dictatorship!)
Option 2: Give the person a chance, speak to them after you get even a vibe that they're trustworthy, try to convert them and show them the error of their ways. Then if they still want to follow the dictatorship THEN murder the zealot.
Which one sounds more like a hero and more far away from this 'Dictatorship' card that she throws around.
Golden Girl, I'll say the flaws of the loyalist, YOU stop being a brainwashed zealot(which you constantly wave at loyalists, ignoring their position, mind set, or what THEY would be exposed to in their lives) and begin to admit the flaws of the resistance.
Break even ground, otherwise you are being the oppressive single minded dictator yourself. Judge the people, not who they are apart of, Cole and his empire is a evil, disgusting thing filled to the brim with tyranny. If you took a moment to listen to Washington, he admits such and wants to fight against it without people getting hurt.
Don't judge the citizens and workers as evil just because they are under foot.
PS: Cleo abuses her power everyday, using her Boyfriend to get her own ends and immunity overall.
PSS: You mocked the fact that Calvin Scott is not a good idea to follow, in other words his commands are NOT a good moral compass. But you would choose him, OVER Washington, purely because Washington is a loyalist... there's a word for writing someone off instantly for a arbitrary reason... but I just can't think of it right now.
