oooo...I really like your stuff so far! Maybe you can help flesh out a niggling idea I have for a new hero to start. I just have the very basics, so you have plenty of room to do whatever strikes your fancy. She's will be a spines/regen scrapper. Here she is-
Molly Jamis was a normal girl. Friendly, if a bit shy, and something of a book worm. At least, until the growths began. They began as hard callous on her head, then her shoulder, growing out until they looked like spines. She became known as the freak at school in short notice, and she hated her changeing body.
At some point she figures out she can call forth and hurl these spines at will (attack by someone?). She keeps this hiddenfrom all but her best friend, a young man who she's been friends with since preschool. I think she toys with what to do next until something leads her to become a Heroine. One idea is that she plays at it, taking down minor hellion thugs or something, because it's okay if she's a freak if she's a hero, but it doesn't get serious until some big thing happens.
Of course, that leaves the question- what's the big thing? It would be easy enough to say her parents get killed- I sorta want her to end up an orphen anyway, due to a theme SG she might end up in. But that's been done an awful lot, and I get the feeling her Mother died when she was young due to cancer or something. As for orgin, I'm thinking Mutant, and I'm still trying to come up with a hero name for her. any help you can give would be greatly apperciated!
