Ok - the lessening of debt, patrol xp, a smoothed xp curve etc may mean it doesn't mean quite as much as it used to.. but it's certainly not devalued as you say if you play the game rather than take the PL-express to 50.

I dont agree on your oppinion that it still means as much as it used to to ding 50. I just cant stop myself from thinking when looking at a lvl 50 now "Did he/she take the long or short road. And does he/she think the same of me, while looking at my lvl 50"

You can say that it doesnt matter what other people think, which is prolly true. But you cant deny that the game has changed.

Also, they shouldnt remove the AE buildings, they should burn them down and leave the charred remains as a reminder on what not to do in mmo's

Higher lvl players would still teleport low lvl players in. The high lvl players get bigger teams, low lvl players incredible xp. So I dont think thats an answer.

I started playing CoH when it first reached Europe 5 years ago. It was really hard work dinging 50. I stopped/started playing CoH many times. Architect was the reason I reactivated my account. What should've been its pinnacle, will be its downfall as far as im concerned. I wont renew my account when Architect stays the way it is now.

Maybe Champions Online does things better...

My biggest problem with MA Farming is the fact that you level incredibly fast. Dinging 50 has no value at all anymore. Sure you could farm before, but it still was a lot of grinding. Now its just ridiculous the amount of xp you get from it. And like said, the inflation will skyrocket. Architect was the reason I reactivated my account, because of its potential...it turned out to be the reason I'll prolly stop playing CoH for good.
