Well, I have two suggestions for you. First off: If you're computer savy and running a Windows OS, Go to the command prompt (Usually found in Start->Programs->Accessories-> ) and run a trace route (tracert www.google.com). This should tell you about where the problem is. The more IP addresses that go by, the further from you the problem is.

If the problem is within the first 5 or so ip addresses it's probably a problem your ISP will have to look into. If it's further out, it's less likely to be that.

If you have absolutely no clue what I'm talking about, you may want to call your internet service provider and explain that you're having latency issues on your connection.
  2. Now now, lets not get all negative here. Further more, lets not try to start fires on a joke thread.
  3. This is a joke thread, I hope it made you smile.
  4. Ever sense the inclusion of bases into CoV, people've wanted a "Danger Room" where they could go and do virtual simulations or just beat on target dummies, but such a thing has never been included. As of late, the Devs seem to have had their hands busy with a lot of things so bases haven't gotten much loving (Aside from priceing shifts, and the removal of clipping with item placement.)

Recently puttering around I had a thought (that it wouldn't surprise me if many had before me) for an easy way to get a 'danger room' for the base. All the Devs have to do is make an AE room. It'd be like the home console of the for the AE system.

Now, I'm not saying that it should be easy to get, something like that (in my mind) would require a lot of power and control to maintain, so I'd think that only bases with medium range equipment would be best suited for it. I'd guess the pricing for it should be about in that range as well. (100k prestige? More? Less?)

The room could be a 3x3 room (as the actual 'game floor' of the AE building is just about that size) and I'd think the "game column" would probably take up a 2x2 area, or maybe 1.5x1.5? Give base designers room to play around on the sides.

I we could even have Aux connections for a ticket vendor, or maybe just a "item takes less power/control?", though that would take some work, as well as some designing from the modeling/skinning and programming teams.

I'm not saying "i15 is too small, include this to make people care about AE again!", but I was thinking that it would be an easy way to breath a little more life into bases, which ,now that base raids have (as far as I know) caught the nix, have pretty much become storage and teleporters.

This idea would also give people a reason to rez in their base again

So what do you think? Good idea? Bad Idea? Idea posted in the wrong sub-forum? Idea already talked about to death? Discussion go!
