Well the initial gesture sketch was great... the inks... meh.. you'll see.. I had to rush it... otherwise I wouldn't be able to reach the deadline...

My oh my... Things sure go by fast on this boards... So I had to rush the inking... stupid classes getting in the way.. so I went to the color phase... I hope to get it done by friday afternoon/saturday morning...

Small update

And one other tip from me. Try drawing with longer, single-motion strokes. Avoid doing a straight (or curved) line by doing short, jaggy lines. This is a hard thing to master, but the sooner you start working on that, the better.

That's very nice. There is going to be some tough competition.

I think it is pretty cool. I think that you should have colored the sleeveless jacket and t-shirt in the same blocky/animated/cell-shading way you rendered the face and hair.

LOL. Well it won't be all Neon-like. It's just that some of those colors got a bit lost on a white background so I just slapped some black paint on it.

Don't know if i'll have time to throw a background in there, if not I will have to settle for a simple layout as a background. I'll keep you posted on the progress.
