In an unfortunate turn of events, it appears the dastardly Mike Brady has received more assistance to his criminal actions in the shape of his eldest son, Greg Brady.
Today, Mr. Brady, sons Bobby and Greg and daughter Cindy were found to be cooperating with Vahzilok, taking unwilling victims to be used for parts. Longbow agents were able to save the victims from the Vahzilok, but were unable to contain the Bradys.
"One would think that after the horrible thing that happened to Brady's wife that he would not be working in league with folks like the Vahz" said Suzanne Bernhard of the Skyway City precinct of the police. "It boggles the mind how such a model citizen can do something like this. The pressue must have been unbearable".
Others were less sympathetic, including Boom-stickcom, a noted hero of Paragon City and reserve member of the Freedom Phalanx. "Listen, it's a bad deal what happened to this guy's family, but the bottom line is that Brady and his crew are out there committing crimes...murder, stealing, tresspassing, loitering, littering, not using crosswalks...you name it, they're doing it and they need to be taken down before more people get hurt!"
Brady has been witnessed with a few other criminals of the Rogue Isles, but has not seemed to keep any duration with specific ones. The warning to watch out for this violent madman still stands. -
BRADY KILLING SPREE CONTINUES
Rogue Isle Daily - July 26, 2006 Evening Edition
"They were just like a human street sweeper" says 'Razzle', a leader of a local gang.
Mike Brady, along with his children Cindy and Bobby have moved their attention to Port Oaks, where the streets run red with blood. The Brady bunch apparently opened fire while walking the streets, attacking anyone and everyone. Over 52 people were killed in the ruthless attacks.
For a time, it seemed the Bradys even joined up with a few other of the lesser known Rogue Isle villains to take down a figurehead only known to Port Oaks as 'Bruce'. This is not to be confused with the Bruce from Bruce, Inc., although maybe Mr. Brady is trying to send a message.
"I tried to stop them...I called for backup...they're just human, but we can't stop them" stated Lieutenent Murphy of the Port Oaks chapter of the police. "Anytime we would get close, Mr. Brady would yell "Don't f**k with Mike Brady" and begin a barrage of shooting. That Bobby kid of his seemed to be really fueling the fire of it"
Although it is common knowledge that Mr. Brady's wife and housekeeper were brutally murdered and their corpses used in an evil plot to overthrow the city, detectives are still unsure of Mr. Brady's rationale.
"I can understand the guy going ballistic, I mean if someone did that to my wife, I'd probably snap too. However, these aren't the tactics of a completely irrational person. I believe Mr. Brady has some goal or objective that he is trying to accomplish and the only way he feels he can do it is through savage and violent means. I'm sure that Bobby guy isn't helping" says Detective Jose Cuervo
Mr. Brady and the rest of his family's whereabouts are unknown, but he is considered armed and dangerous. Thus far, the Brady bunch have not killed any civilians during their spree, which lend creedence to Detective Cuervos' analysis.
What happens next? It is uncertain, according to the R.I.P. They encourage people to call 9-1-1 and hide if they see the family.
The only clues left behind at this time are bodies, bullets and a cellphone that was dropped by one of the criminals at one of the crime scenes at Port Oaks. The last call was made to a 'Greg Brady". The police are hoping this is not a sign of things to come... -

BRADY WANTED FOR BANK ROBBERY
Cameras at the Mercy Island Bank have positively identified theives from earlier today as Mike Brady with his son Bobby and daughter, Cindy.
"They robbed us at gunpoint", teller Susan Walsh exlaimed. Walsh just started working at the bank this week and was quite shaken.
Daniel Roberson, a patron of the bank said "I overheard Cindy expressing hesitance at the robbery and then that Bobby guy snapped back at her that it was the only way to get the stuff from 'Bruce', cussed alot and then he just started mowing people down."
Amazingly, none of the consumers or employees of the bank were injured in the shootout.
The thieves made a clean getaway while leaving behind at least 25 dead or wounded guards.
An informant known as "Joe" confided with us. "I don't know where they keep coming up with guards. It seems like this place gets robbed every day!".
Police are still on the lookout for the whereabouts of the other Brady children, who have not been seen since the tragic murder and reanimation of their mother, Carol as reported earlier in the week. -
MONEY MATTERS -
"Bruce, Inc. stock skyrockets"
Money Matters:
Bruce Inc. stock skyrockets!
Investors believe that after several quarters of slow growth, now it the time to buy. Bruce Incorporated sales have started to skyrocket due to a large purchace by an annonimous buyer. CEO Bruce had this to say about the deal:
"We have no idea who the buyer of our product is, but he pays with cash, and that's good enough for me."
We asked repsresentatives from Bruce Inc. about who they suspect the buyer to be. Chairman and senior VP Burce had this to say:
"Some people believe our products cause harm but would you rather have a cop take you down with a fishing net or the dangerous guns they carry today."
Bruce representatives were asked to comment on the recent attacks involving the Brady family. VP of sales Bucre had this to say:
"We have no connection with Mr. Brady at this time. Besides, where would he get the funding to afford our products? Nothing personal against Mr. Brady, but he's a clean cut family man and we sell to military forces. I don't think he could afford even one sonic disruptor on an architect's wages."
VP of marketing, Brcue, had this to add:
"We specialize in many different tactical immobilization and military grade armor degredation products. Our products are designed to stop or slow down an enemy force, not destroy them. We're not criminals. Go bother Halliburton."
Bruce Inc. execuitives and investors expect the stock to continue to climb throughout the next quarter and beyond.

MIKE BRADY GOES 'POSTAL'
A distraught Mike Brady was seen leaving his former place of employment, with his son, Bobby in tow. To the average bystander, Mr. Brady seems "high strung" and "paranoid", not looking anyone in the eyes, but constantly checking his surroundings. Bloody footprints are found leaving the Fuller Architecture Company's stairs.
"That boy (Bobby) was waving his gun around and cussing at everyone", says Eleanor Murphy, a bystander at the scene of the crime.
Inside lay the dead bodies of 13 co-workers, including Richard Fuller, the owner of the company. Empty shell casings litter the floor and blood splatters cover the walls, copy machines and computers. A gluey substance was found on the floor, as well as 'mancatching' nets.
Mr. Brady is considered armed and dangerous and is traveling in a green station wagon (with wood panels) in the company of his son, Bobby Brady. The other Brady children have not been able to be reached for comment.
Mr. Brady was just informed yesterday that his wife and housekeeper's corpses were involved in a brutal crime ring, headed by Mr. Wilson (see obit). -
Rogue Isle Daily - Tuesday, July 25, 2006
Mike Brady Speaks:
"This is just....it's such a hard time, you know?"
Mr. Brady was just informed that his wife Carol and housekeeper Alice, who have been missing for months from a trip to the meat market, had not only been brutally murdered by a madman named Mr. Wilson (see story on page A-3), but that their corpses were used in criminal acts at Wilson's requests.
"When you do that to someone like Carol...I mean, that's just so wrong. Alice was a little shady anyway, and I always wondered what was really going on at Sam's, but Carol was an angel. I just can't believe someone would do this".
Bobby waved a gun in the faces of the news crews, who promptly left. According to sources, brother Greg also was seen packing a high caliber weapon when entering the home later.
Carol is survived by husband Mike and children Greg, Marcia, Peter, Jan, Bobby and Cindy.
Alice is survived by her boyfriend, Sam the meat man. -

"Mr Wilson, dead at 73"
Mr. Wilson, a 'necromancer' from the Croatoa region, was found dead on July 26th at the Cap au Diable Ferry. Found around him were the bodies of his unwilling, undead servants. Mr. Wilson (first name unreleased) was proven responsible for a number of kidnappings, murders and thefts and was wanted by R.I.P.
Investigation into this death also found that his corpse followers were, in fact, other heroes and villains who had been missing in action. Killfloor, 5UP3RH34L0R, one of the Butter Face girls with a gun, etc. Some identities have not been released, but two of the zombies actually turned out to be women known as Alice and Carol. The families of the unfortunate victims have been notified.
Mr. Wilson was a proud member of Sonic Doom, an infamous Villain Group in the Rogue Isles. He also belonged to the Foster Grandparents program of Sharkhead Isle and was a large contributer to the Museum of Modern Art in Founder's Falls.

QFT
and doubly so in PvP -
First off, I appreciate that a red name has responded and is paying attention to our points of view, whether they agree or not. Getting response at all helps us feel like we're not completely being hung out to dry.
Next, I like the idea of any mez protection..I'll take it whether under domination or not....I think it's a cool tie in.
However, I do agree that the Jeckyll side of us is the side that is lacking much more than the Hyde.
I know that the game is predominatly PvE players and I certainily think that doms need a bit of work in PvE, however, I was wondering if Posi or States have brought there dominators into PvP and how they have fared.
All the mez protection in the world won't do much to stop you from getting 2/3 hit blapped. As soon as the dominator begins to have that 'glow' (if not before), he is target #1.
I have seen in many arena matches now (I'm sure it can be datamined, as well) how dominators 'add' to a team....
Generally, they 'add' killcounts for the opposing team.
I haven't lost all hope yet, and I enjoy the playstyle of my dominator...however, specifically with PvP and Heroes (of the purple triangle nature), I don't feel like I can add as much to a team as any of the other AT's. I have heard it many times and cannot disagree...why have a dom on the team when you can have another corruptor or brute?
There has to be a reason for people to want us. If our holds aren't effective against the AV types and our damage isn't worth using (melee against an AV = dead dom), then why not have a corruptor or MM who can debuff and add more damage to the mix?
Anyway, again, thanks for at least checking things out. I hope that we can get to a place where Doms have a place. -
"Blaster-level health
Damage increase to flat 70% BI
Defeat leaves Domination untouched
Endurance reduction in secondary
Endurance reduction in primary"
I'd push the BI to 75%, but otherwards, I'm all for this. It addresses most of the weaker points and makes a more viable toon. -
Do doms suck? no
Do doms need work? yes
In general PvE, I really don't complain about any of my doms performance.
In PvP, I am a squishy target whose primary is negated by 50% of the enemy or a 50inf inspiration and my damage should I get a hold is very lackluster. Bad combination.
Against Heroes, it's hit and miss, but again, the purple triangles pretty much negate the reason to be there.
1. Give doms 10% more damage to all attacks...we need it. Some would say that would step on the toes of corruptors. I think the corruptors are sitting pretty well though overall, and judging by the influx of corruptor teams (specifically in PvP), something there is working. If that means taking 10% off the damage done in domination...or hell...even 25%, then so beit.
2. Give doms 10% hp...we are too easy to kill and have no way to negate that. We don't have bodyguard or debuffs to use to dull damage done to us.
3. Limited mez protection - maybe while in domination mode, having some reistance to mezzing would be nice...still puts us in the mode of needing to have dom up though.
I love the concept and feel of dominators, but with exception of a very few l33ts, everyone, even the enemy, agrees that doms need work. Being uber is not the goal, but serving a purpose is. When holds are so easily negated and damage is so lackluster, it's hard to see a point to having doms when other AT's add more to a team. -
Thanks, Castle. You've been a very 'get it done' kind of guy. I'm glad to see you on the blaster forums.
The biggest things that I see that need work (from playing my characters) is (as stated previously), the end drain of the electric set...specifically in regards to PvP. As it is now, it is not worth slotting the drain aspect, which goes against everything that ED was supposed to (encouraging slotting other enhancements). If I am understanding right now, the drain in PvP is 25% of PvE.
I'd love to see it 100% effective in PvP, but having at least a 50-75% drain would certainly make it worthwhile to slot. 25% is useless. By the time I get in and SC the enemy, he has plenty of time to wallop my no-mez, no-defense self before I can do much of anything (SC has a decent act. time, ya know!). So, in the risk vs. reward category, I think since all the 'drain' moves must be performed at AoE (except TB), that it would be nice to make that risk worth it. It's no more 'damaging' than a hold is, and fits in with the mold of what the elec blaster was supposedly intended to be. Gecko told us some time ago that our elec blasters were going to be something special in PvP...however, really, we're just regular blasters with nothing on the side (although our animation rules!)
I know Circuit Boy has repeatedly laid out reasons why this needs to be looked at and I just want to /agree. Most blaster side effects are still fully functional in PvP (my ice blaster's slow is wonderful!), but elec is lacking...I'm sure others have gripes, but these are just from the ones I've played alot.
Defiance would be my other issue. I don't want to be on my deathbed before my 'inherit' kicks in. I think a lower activation would be much more functional and noticable. I really like the concept of defiance, but in practice, it just equals death. I read Statesman's address on how to 'run in defiance', although I would seriously doubt that he has tried it much....anytime I've tried to 'stay in defiance', I get dead....fast. Kinda defeats the purpose of having it. I have no problem with the percentage of damage +...just when it kicks in. I think it should start in earlier.
Thanks again for listening.
