ok! I've updated a few things. Major differences are that I've dropped IR and SS in favor of Leaping, adjusted some slots (note the levels they're acquired) and filled the build out as a rough sketch to 50. Note that slotting became a little sloppy after 40, mostly due to the fact that I ran out of stuff that had to be slotted. I'll be using those 'extra' points towards wherever I want set bonuses.
Tactics comes in later than I'd like, but I don't see an efficient way to get it in sooner without sacrificing something else like Acro or ID. I'd also like to wedge Super Speed in for the stealth.
Maybe in a few weeks I'll be ready to discuss sets. (Does Repel with Force Feedback: Recharge proc outside of combat?)

Hi All,
I'd like some advice on my build. I've only filled it out up to ~33, as I don't pretend to know what the later game is like and fully plan to respec someday. First, a little background. Years ago I played a Kin/Dk Defender to 20, Blaster to 48, Mastermind to 30, and haven't touched the game since a few months after the CoV release. I'm back now, and this guide got me so excited about Kin/Son that I had to give it a shot.
I'm 16 now and getting by fine with Siphon Speed and temporary travel powers. I've also noticed that in group play my endurance is never a problem, and I plan to group most of the time. These definitely influenced some of my choices here, but I'm still planning to take Stamina.
You'll notice that I've left Set IOs out of the plan. There are two reasons for this. First, I'm an old fogey and I don't totally understand how they work (Exemplar rules, ED, and dual/triple effects are all complicated.) Second, and more to the point, I don't have a sugar daddy feeding me influence, so I don't expect to be wealthy enough to buy them when I'd want them. I don't want to plan to integrate them when I can instead plan to respec at 50
As far as my general plans for the rest of the levels, I'll put more points in Transferrence and FS (and maybe Siren's Song), then get the last two powers of Sonic and work my way down Psychic to Telekinesis.
I have a few concerns about the build I've layed out. Specifically: will I be miserable that I don't have CJ for Immo resist? Super Speed for stealth? No real travel power?
Any thoughts are appreciated!
