    3ish? Should I just plan on parking in Leander then? Maybe I can get a shuttle service from Round Rock and not bring a car at all.

    Well, I drove by Cyberjocks for the first time last weekend.....if everyone on the list ends up coming, then parking is gonna be sparse anyways unless EVERYONE does some mad carpooling. Im talking circus clown cars and college kids stuffed in a phonebooth. Ok maybe Im exaggerating a bit :-)

    Yes. Its called CHamidon. Theres usually a fair amount of PPl on it.
  5. Trying to get a hami raid together for 7-30-05. 9pm central time. Made a hami raid thread for champion server if you wanna view/post any extra details about it. Hopefully the thread will be used for future raids as well

    I think thats what the lvl 40+ powersets are for. I havnt taken any of these myself yet, but from what I've seen and heard from others is that it seems to be there for players to take powers that are radically different from their initial AT and not offered in the main power pool.

Before I begin, I just want to anyone paying attention to this to know that although I've been playing CoH for almost a year now (and LOVING) it, I havnt payed much attention to the forums and this is my first REAL involvment in them. That said, some of the suggestions below have most likely been posted by other members already but I havnt yet been able to look through every forum to see if they have.

    First off, my only real beef with the game is that I think too many high lvl players have too much influence and dont know what to do with it all (aside from handing it out to lowbies like feeding birds in a park). Possible alternative: purchasable temporary powers. Theyre already handed out from NPC's as mission help/rewards, why not go for broke?

    Second, Teleport. Everyone complains about what an endurance hog it is (I've used it myself and have to agree) and its just not worth that much endurance to travel 100 or so yards per tp in line-of-sight. Also, I cant recall ever seeing anyone use Group TP (dont think Ive ever heard of anyone taking it at all). Suggestion: a) reduce end cost of TP. b) scrap Group TP and replace with something that port everyone in the group to the user. c) revamp TP so that the user (at greater end cost) can port to any place on the map. I picture this as similar to placing a waypoint on the map and appearing at that place. d) have a TP power where you can mark a designated spot and port back to that spot quickly. I see this one being used mainly on mission maps. e) perhaps a "Greater TP" that would, when used, bring up a list of safe areas (entrances, hospitals, train stations) in all zones the player can access and allow him/her to port to one of those areas. Would be similar to using the trains except you can initiate it from any area (except mission maps I suppose).

    Third, new zones. I'd like to touch on some I've seen mentioned and add a few I havnt seen yet. I saw mention of an underwater zone in the works and and a post devoted to the possibility of creating Orenbega (sp). Both sound very interesting and I hope the designers have at least taken these into consideration. I especially like the idea of being able to travel to Orenbega at will due to the fact that i LOVED the designs of the outposts my characters have been to so far and going into the city itself could lead up to seeing all new mobs and villians (though that be turning a bit too far from the whole "live action comic book" vision). Another idea, maybe expand more on the Banished Pantheon. One of the temple-esque areas in Moth Cemetary would be a perfect spot to open up a new zone with stronger, different types of Banished and other new villian groups. Maybe even a trial zone where players would come into major conflict with the gods of the pantheon themselves and prevent them from entering our world. Another possible zone could be a large space station setup. Have it enterable through the Portal Corp building in PI or maybe have an emergency transport set up in the Ritki Crash Site (my highest lvl char is only 34 right now so I havnt even been there yet) to give more ppl a reason to travel there. If the lvl cap is going to be raised, these zones could be used as 50+ for end game players.

    Again, I havnt yet been able to read through all of the forums so some (if not all) of these suggestions have probably been posted already. I dont expect to see any of them emplimented but I do hope the designers at least take them into consideration. Anyways, its a great game so far and I can see myself playing it for a very long time
