Seriously guys... why would you give the "Domination" name to another powerset that isn't available to Doms? Stop that.
As usual, I'll be hanging out for the new customisation options. Needless to say, the idea of custom story content thrills me. Please, please PLEASE say we'll be able to make custom NPCs to go with our plots! -
...Why did this warrant a game announcement? There's no new information in this post. It just reads like somebody wrote the company a new vision statement and thought all the players wouldn't notice that it was nothing but a bunch of buzzwords. Please post real news next time.

The tuxedo costume includes an elegant formal tuxedo jacket with tails (available to all characters).

I LOVE you guys for making the tuxedo pieces available to all characters, not just guys ;_; As soon as my husband mentioned this pack to me, my first response was to vow to not buy it if the formal suits were men-only.
It really is a terrible shame that there aren't more guy bits, though. I think you should add in a solid version of the veil for them - that could have everyday, non-girly applications. Aside from that, that's some great work, guys. It's kind of pricey, though... $5.99 would have been more reasonable, considering how many of these you stand to sell (seriously, you can't tell me you're not going to make a packet off of this!). Or maybe a pre-order discount next time?

Yeh, but where is my wedding dress for a dude....please don't flame war me...if I were a secure heterosexual male, I'd totally wear a dress to my wedding just to piss off my family...wish my toons could have one .
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm not going to flame you for that, I love crossdressing guys. I just know we're never, ever, ever going to actually get dresses for guys, and since the super-masculine CoX guys would look horrid in drag anyway, I don't care. I just make flat chested women to serve as pretty boys (check out my elven prince).
Also, whoever laughed at the "with skin" options for women in this pack is right. Mostly naked with a heart on my crotch, huh? Gosh, I wish I'd looked like that when I got married. Please, costume designers, can we reign in the sluttiness just a bit? Just a little? It's really gotten gross (and as a porn-drawing pervert, I am no puritan point of view here!)
...Or at least add in a giftwrapped banana hammock for the men. That would be about the same level of suggestiveness, I think. Fair's fair! -

You should go join the CityofArtists club on dA too!I know a lot of people use it as a commission reference. Good luck!

I already have, in factThat's me on this month's birthday list ;p

...Because Talen tells me there's quite a decent trade in CoX commissions going, and dammit, I need the money! XP If you're interested in anime-esque depictions of your characters, you might just find me worth a look ^^ I generally do buff women and pretty boys, though (contrary to what my dA might have you believe ;p) I do sometimes draw guys who still look like guys. Oh, and I'm not very good at detailed machinery/mechanicals stuff. In other words, I'm probably not the right artist for your Liefieldian-proportioned muscle dudes, but sleek-and-deadly I can do well, and I pride myself on my faces and emotions ^_^
Examples:
(Sorry, my only completed CoX pictures are just sketches right now ^^; I have plenty of finished work from other sources, though...)
<ul type="square">[*]Jaren - Sketch (fantasy elfy-type character)[*]Sendari - Sketchy colour ref (fantasy warrior woman)[*]Leyla - Sketchy colour ref (definitely the most impractical costume I'm willing to draw on a combatant ;p)[*]Jehan - Sketchy colour ref (sword dancer - actually a dude, but supposed to look like a chick, so think of him as female if it helps ;p)[*]Runner + Kafei - Ink (romancey stuff (both boys, but who's counting?))[*]Brynn - Ink (furry character design)[*]Faolan - Ink with rudimentary screentone (furry character)[*]Natalie - Ink (Military-themed metahuman character)[*]Fox chibi - Colouring (yes, I do it sometimes ^_^; )[*]Zelda club ID - Colouring (cel-shading example, on chibis)[*]BJ base - Pixel "doll" base (oi, this is nude, but it's like Ken-doll nude, okay? All clean and featureless and stuff. It's supposed to be so you can dress it up, not because I have a weird fetish for genitalialessness XP)
If You Want More examples:
(Warning: Some of these links contain links to adult work, or links which contain links to adult work. These are clearly marked with warnings and stuff, so there's no way somebody who doesn't want to see them couldn't avoid them. Please, use good judgement!)
<ul type="square">[*]Fox Lee Studios - My homepage hub - various sites with different content, examples of pretty much whatever you want[*]Fox's City - My CoX character site[*]Furbidden Realms - Furry work (largely adult - you have been warned!)[*]My deviantArt[*]My FurAffinity - More furry work. This site does contain adult work, but you have to be registered and logged in, and have adult content turned on, to see it. So that should be okay to post, right? ^^;
If you're interested, please check out this journal with my prices, terms & conditions and other info. Oh, and you can contact me via PM, through dA or FA, in-game on @FoxLee, or email at foxlee(at)dodo(dot)com(dot)au.
And thanks for looking! ^_^ -
Yeah, because that wouldn't totally defeat the point of making something that wasn't a traditional corny superteam, and was designed explicitly to emphasize individualism and personal judgement 9_9; And asking to avoid grotesque Barbie-doll characters is completely the same as requiring a set body shape and costume.
If you don't like it, just move on. -
Name: Second Solution
Motto: "Make your own choices."
Side: Heroes
Leader(s): Rove
Basic Pitch:
A great man once said that people who were willing to give up freedom in exchange for security didn't deserve either. And let's face it, Longbow - not to mention the "Freedom" Phalanx themselves - trample all over liberty in the name of safety and justice.
Second Solution refuse to accept their way of doing things. We will not give up our freedom. We will not abide by their rules. We will defend what is ours, what is in our rights - and beyond that, we will let others choose for themselves.
Second Solution was formed by the childhood runaway and ex-warrior Rove, a liberal-mided and anti-authoritarian vigilante with a strong objection to Freedom Corp's way of doing things. Rove knew full well that in different circumstances, her disgust with Paragon's iconic heroes might well have made her turn permanently to the villains' side; with this in mind, she hopes to make Second Solution a place for "heroing without the toss", for those who don't buy into the black-and-white morality of Freedom Corp.
Player Type: Casual-Regular; Powergamers probably won't find us to their liking. Players are welcome to pursue whatever missions/task forces/whatever they feel like, though we have a strong focus on missions which aren't related to Frredom Corp (such as Police Band/Safeguard missions).
Role-playing: Roleplay is expected; the group is in character. OOC chatter is welcome, but IC is the default. This doesn't mean we ignore the game mechanics, though - we try to make well-rounded, mechanically sound, interestingly-flavoured characters.
Membership levels: Any, though if you're past the mid-game levels you'll probably find you don't have too many people to team with right now.
Symbol: The anarchy symbol, because you have to choose something.
SuperGroup Colours: Black and deep red. We encourage members to ignore group colours completely.
Normal time of Gameplay: We currently have a player base made only of Australians in GMT+10, so we're normally active between 7pm-10am GMT. A caveat, though; we're not tremendously active right now because we're still small. If you need a constantly active SG, we're probably not the place for you.
RULES<ul type="square">[*]You must be a mature roleplayer, This isn't some kind of X-rated cesspit, but it's also not a group for children.[*]Your character needs to have a bio/profile/origin. We want to know about him/her![*]Traditional cape-and-tights style heroes aren't banned, but they probably won't fit in well. Try someting more alternative or casual. We are not the Amazing Justice Crusaders of Nobleness - we just do what needs to be done.[*]In a social sense, the group is really liberal IC - there isn't much reason for a conservative individual to join up, so keep that in mind. Also, we are (while definitely not villainous) opposed to Freedom Corp's and the Freedom Phalanx's methods, so please, no Statesman fanboys or anything ^^;[*]Please, nothing too stupid in terms of costumes - no max-boobs, min-physique/waist, bikini-and-heels type characters. We like eye candy, but we like eye candy that's competent and sensible.
Other information: Nothing much.
Recruiting?: Absolutely - contact me by e-mail, PM FoxLee on the CoX forums, or @Fox Lee. -
( Reposted from the Supergroups thread, since I didn't realise there was a separate villains one ^^; )
Name: The Delta Venus
Motto: "YARR!"
Side: Villains
Leader(s): Jackson Ketch
Basic Pitch:
Yarr, t'is bein' t'e reformin' o' Cap'n Jackson's moighty ship, T'e Delta Voinus. If ye loikes t'e sound o' pillagin', plunderin', an' respectin' t'e envoiro'ment, Cap'n Jackson be wantin' YOU(*) t' join the reborn scourge o' t'e hoigh seas! Yarr, give in t' yer inner poirate an' join today!
(*)Applicants must have experience in sailing large vessels and provide eye-candy for the captain. Pirate career spanning multiple centuries not necessary but an advantage. Sassy wenches always welcome.
The Delta Venus is a pirate crew (or rather, the SG is the crew of the Delta Venus, the ship of one Captain Jackson Ketch). A pirate from the glory days of privateering, Jackson rose from the dead and now lurks around the Rogue Isles - though she has as little respect for Lord Recluse's laws as she does for anybody else's. As fate would have it, various crewman who died with her also returned to the world of the living, through various other means from black magic to time travel, complementing her growing crew of new recruits. Currently in the process of rebuilding their ship - and converting it to an airship with the help of some more technically able members - the crew of the Delta Venus stand poised to once again wreak havoc upon the mercantile world.
Player Type: Casual-Regular; Powergamers probably won't find us to their liking. Players are welcome to pursue whatever missions/task forces/whatever they feel like, though we particularly enjoy Mayhem Missions because... well... we're pirates

Symbol: The skull and crossbones, of course
SuperGroup Colours: Black and deep red. Group colours aren't required - we'd prefer you wear your own.
Normal time of Gameplay: We have a player base formed equally of North Americans and Australians - when some of us aren't around, the rest probably will be. Other information: Be aware that the group are mostly lesbians or bisexual IC (players include males and females of all persuasions). If that bothers you, you probably shouldn't join up ;p
