Yeh i agree with the checking of contract etc, however its kinda beyond my involvement as the company is providing the contract for the internet,

Thanks guys for all your help,i am off to cry in the snow ! lol

    Hope to be back soon

    Help Meeee !

    Hi there,

Yes the data blocking thing is kinda what i thought,do u think i'll be able to connect once i have the router and my own line set up with Neuf.

As for the French, all i can do is order coffee, dam hard here,swiss/French/German border ,i dunno if i am coming or going lol.

As for the error i am getting,i'm not,the Launcher just sits there and tries it heart out .

    I wanna come home lol!

    Help Meeee !

I have recently moved to France/Basel.I have access to the Neuf WiFi internet service but at the moment my line is not connected so i am using the wireless access part of my account.

I can surf the net,no problems ,all be it within a 2 hour cut off window, but i cannot connect to COH.

Has anyone got any ideas? Hair pulling out time!

    Thanks in advance techie doods.
  4. I have been trying for 2 days, without sucess,to transfer some toons from my main account to euro PTS.

I am wondering if the server transfer is not working correctly or i am doing something wrong.

Following the login,i select the server i wish to transfer from and the list shows "copy in progress" , but this has been the same situation for 2 days now.

    Perhaps someone can help?

    The BIG nerf!!!

Thank you Praf for taking the time out to do that.

Sorry i didnt reply quicker, was on the end of a 15 hour day yesterday before i could check the forums.

That build is going to give me some nice regen but i'll loose the perma domination/global recharge and i cant take tactics without maneuvers.

Still not sure if thats's a good thing or a bad thing at the moment especially with the cost involved in a respec.

I think i'm going to have to bite the bullet and ignore perma dom just to see if it now makes the fire/psi a viable dominator again.

I think, from what others are saying too,i need to ignore the "Leadership pool" as the drain on endurance now is pretty crippling as i cant take Tactics without Maneuvers.

Thank you for all your input guys, any help is still welcome.

I'm sorry i dont see the math, perhaps you could help me out here, maybee show me a mids?

As this stands i will be leaving the game, that'll be the 3rd game ncsoft has either closed or ruined for me.

    Help is much appreciated!

I know Domi's are really nice, but there are more things to this game then playing a Domi. If you wanna leave the game because of the changes to Domi's, that's taking it to the extreme. Then again it's your own choice to go, not really NCsofts fault. I love Domi's too, but it's not as if the game only exists of Domi's
Try something else, you might like it!

Thanks for the advice, but i have a brute, and a widow on vills,by heart i am a controller and have 3 on heroes all lvl 50,I also have a lvl 45 defender on heroes too, none compare to the enjoyment i had on my dom.

So,you see i am pretty into my doms/trollers.

I am here ,ie on coh/cov due to the closing of tabula rasa, another game i loved,so you see i dont have alot of confidence in the company any more.sorry.

It is a bit extreme,ie my comments but i do believe, with the introduction of toon change so late in the game without the option to retain your enhancements is a little cold, esp as the game has been running for such a long time esp with other simular games on the horizon.

So,you see, with the work i have put in to achieving the enhancements etc ,i simply have to make doms work,i dont have infamy or the inclination now to level any more toons and reslot them to the same extend i did on my dom and others.

I wanted to start knocking off a few more tf's and enjoy the new content but i see myself respec'ing ,reslotting and trying to make a toon work i enjoyed so much before.

Sorry for the minor rant and thank you for your time guys/girls so far in my hour of need ..lols.

    :-)

What do you think of the above build i posted?

    The BIG nerf!!!

    [ QUOTE ]
I will share a few of my thoughts.
Seeing that permadom is not that essential anymore you could reconsider some of your choices regarding power selection and slotting:
Unless you are absolutely crazy about the 5% +recharge I would redistribute some of the Stamina slots. Maybe boost an active power or two.
Running all three leadership toggles might be a bit taxing on the endurance reserves of an all-offensive toon, especially when you run Hot Feet, too. A bit too dependent on Drain Psyche for my liking.
I assume that the main reason for Psionic Lance is the +recharge from Sting of the Manticore since that toon is neither geared towards combat at extreme range nor dependent on clean sniper pulls (or snipe-related exploits for that matter). I would sacrifice this one for an attack power of your choice.
Well, these are the things I would tinker around with first. As it is you do not even have to lose permadom. There are others, like trying out alternative (damage-friendly) slottings for Fire Cages and Hot Feet, but those are really an afterthought once the build is at a level where it has decent attack chains etc.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Hi there and thank you for the constructive help, been thinking about this and came up with the build below, what do you think?

Still possibly a bit heavy on the endurance maybee, but i am not sure mids has been updated for a while now so it seems trial and error.

Also, some of the enh may not be within my reach at the moment, most i have but some are a problem.

Since we are not you it would be a lot easier the other way round. Give us your build and a few thoughts on your playstyle and stuff like that, then we take a look at it and tell you why it does not work out as you would like it to. Saves us the effort of having to make wild guesses and churn out something good only to have it shot down by you because you do not like the travelpower or something along those lines.

If you have a perma-dom, this is indeed a nerf, it's intended to even up performance between builds that cost stupid amounts of inf and those afordable to normal mortals.

It was a contolling toon. It is now a control/damage hybrid. The trouble with being just a controlling toon is that it is useless against any powerful mob in the game. The controller was never just a controlling toon, it is a buffer as well, and so could always contribute in AV fights.

So ,in actual fact, pretty dam useless!

Perhaps you could throw me a lifeline? Show me a build?

I have sat here all morning and most of last night trying to make a good out of this.

At the moment i cannot see a way to
1.reduce the endurance costs they are now,
2.Provide enough recharge for me to not actually have moments of standing doing nothing.
3.Relieve the bore-Dom aspect of the toon due to waiting for recharge etc

    The BIG nerf!!!

One thing everyone fails to address on this little discussion about "the big nerf" is that by character a dom is a controlling toon.!

I have a full perma purple set fire/psi dom and my playstyle as is other doms is, to hold the mobs then introduce my damage attacks.

Since the patch my "cinders" is on a 2 min recharge and "flashfire" is on a 1 min 09 recharge. The only spell that has a reasonable recharge is "fire cages"

My endurance is a joke and well obviously my area psi is a joke also.(agree it was overpowered).

I seem to be unable to hold as well ,which,to me,is my primary toons job,to hold and immob to allow other team members to put the boot in.

My point to this post,is this,do not talk about doms and their damage,by nature it is a controlling toon and any release of the mobs is pretty much death anyways.

Change the dam recharge of the spells at least, the only damage boost to most fire/psi sets is to our hold spells, and they dont give alot of damage even now,tbh slotting a damage set with out the holds is defeating the object of a dom and asking for the mobs to bite you.

Show me an alternative area psi spell on a fire/psi dom, increase the recharge of spells, btw my global is 167% and i will be happy?

Guys, you really screwed up with this, please find another way!
