If Spectral Terror is only marginal then it cuts deeper than a non pet power in the Illusion set.

I want to be the premier pet class. I want my pets to be cool. Why is it to much to wish that all illusion pets were an integral part of the package and not so situational that many players would never know that illusion had Spectral Terror?

Spectral Terrors got game with its nightmare animation and it fits illusion! But when it comes to utility there are so many better choices. I want the animation so bad I will stretch to get this power. I have had it in all forms. I still have it but I have reserved my free respect in case it is not repaired.

In the few days after I3 I had it out all the time and my teammates loved the animation. I did not find it overpowering and I loved the feeling of a whole posse of pets around me. I have had it through 15 levels in its current state it is a very poor choice. Here’s to hoping that the power will be salvaged. I further hope it will not be situational but a regular part of my pet posse.

Thank you for addressing that you are working on spectral terror. At least we now know it is not presently 'fixed'

I really want illusion to be the premier pet class. Please keep this in mind and make all three of my pets effective and not situational. I just do not see running away as ‘control’

Spectral terror is a level 26 power, it should be very good. I have it and rarely used it pre I3 but really liked it for the short time post I3 before patch as it stacked to be an effective hold. I feel that as a level 26 power it should be better than level 18 Phantom Army.

I frequently group with a fire tank, my phantasms cause more knock back from the burn patches then there worth – so I don’t use them. Now it sounds like when ST power is ‘fixed’ what I bring to the table is knock back and run away powers. My top two powers are anti group.

There is something obviously wrong with illision because I could easily group for the whole night and never run into the situational use of both spectral terror and phantasm.

Repeat that - I could group for the whole night and not encounter a situation where it would be better to use my top two powers than to not use them?

Im having trouble with this.

I bind only /bind_load_file c:\cohkeybinds\letharga\teleport_off.txt

I do not bind teleport_on.

When I log on it works great for both on and off.
Then it gets out of sync and reverses the showing of windows and mouse click teleport fails. I have teleport on key 1 and it also fails. I can only teleport by manually clicking on teleport icon in slot 1 and then chosing location... quite a pain.

Then sometimes when I swtich zones it works again... for a while then back to not working.

1) I bind Teleport_off first, do I use it once and then bind teleport on?

Easy installation notes since I just installed this on 3 computers.

1) Create directory c:\cohkeybinds
2) Create directory c:\cohkeybinds\letharga
3) run notepad.exe and copy then paste the following into it (this will be your master notepad window size it to small

4) from your master notepad copy only the command text for c:\cohkeybinds\letharga\teleport_on.txt from your master notepad window

5) run notepad.exe 2nd instance size it small to fit master and this together on screen

6) paste only the teleport_on.txt command text into this 2nd notepad

7) save second notepad as c:\cohkeybinds\letharga\teleport_on

8) from the master notepad copy only the command text for c:\cohkeybinds\letharga\teleport_off.txt

9) reusing the 2nd notepad select all then paste the command text from #8 making it the only text in the file

10) save the 2nd notepad as c:\cohkeybinds\letharga\teleport_off

11)Now copy this one line.
/bind_load_file c:\cohkeybinds\letharga\teleport_off.txt

12) Start up City of Heros

13) click into chat box

14) press control and v to paste the line you copied in 11

15) hit return.

16) Done... by cutting and pasting you should not get typo errors.


17) if you have problems to reset to no operation
