I have recently got
really into PvP with my blapper and have been there every day for about 2 weeks : )
The atmosphere has been great there so I couldnt disagree with you more. Me and Kimano (?) have great fun even tho the bugger AS's me on an almost 2 minutely basis.
The problem that you had in there today was, ironically, one of your own making. Why? Because you, like the majority of villains in there, are a stalker!
Because you and your kind can pretty much kill us guys with one or two hits it forces us into teams, it forces us to cooperate and it forces us to bunch together. The reality is, if I dont stay close to a troller with an AoE on the go (God bless em), as soon as I go toe to toe with a villain, I get 1 hitted by a player that I have absolutely no way of avoiding or even detecting.
There were actually a similar number of villains to heroes (I think we did begin to outnumber y'all when I logged) but we had to bunch together to survive and you guys threw yourselves at us in 2 or 3 at a time and were defeated.
As for ganking? The villains were setting up the old tp foe/spam hold/ 5 gank poor hero on his own. We stood in numbers and you came at us.
At the end people were complaining about your "whining" because everytime you died you cried foul play. I got tp foed/spam held/ganked several times but I didnt complain...I just set out for revenge! Apart from that there was lots of playful talk on broadcast between friendly adversaries who see each other in there (and kill each other) every day.
You know the funny thing? You get better rep when the odds are stacked against you! And when you die? There is no penalty!!! My rep ALWAYS shoots up far faster when the odds are against me. There is nothing worse when there are a bunch of heroes camped in front of your base scaring anyone from even playing.
You also should remember that when you can kill people with 1 hit (as a stalker) you are never gonna get any sympathy! : P
