With all due respect it doesn't change the fact that it still costs more than it used to. Maybe not though, if I skip the stuff out of it that I do not plan on using.

I'm not here to complain about stuff though... I am probably going to be buying beam rifle and hover board on day one anyways, and I'm sure that will more than use up any paragon points I have.

I just want to know if I can use the rifle with beam rifle at this point in time.

    That's kind of disappointing.

I have one last question, if anyone has access to the beta server and could test this for me. (or simply already knows)

Will this same rifle be able to be used for the Beam Rifle Powerset? Thank you again for your help.

    I'm aware, but thank you.

Will it be possible to get the entire pack for 10 dollars (or less) though?

Also, thank you to the people who answered my question!
  4. Does anyone know if the 'remarkable reliable rifle' can replace the pulse rifle for robotic masterminds?

If anyone knows this, or has the pack and could test it out I would deeply appreciate it! Thank you for your time.
  5. I am trying to use LFG (I have never used it before), but I am getting "No missions found that can be joined by all team members".

How does LFG work? What is its purpose? How can I make it work?

(edit) Apparently it's for incarnates, I do not have any level 50 characters so I would not know. Is there anything for lower level characters by any chance?
  6. My only advice is to not to name your Soldier of Arachnos after a certain title that only fits one spec or another.

Such as, "Fortunata Mary", or "Huntsman Larry", these would basically either force you into certain specs you may not end up liking in the end, or force you to be playing a character that makes no sense. Would Huntsman Larry make a lot of sense in massive Crab Spider armor? Would Fortunata Mary make a lot of sense stabbing people with claws (and essentially using no psychic powers whatsoever)? Probably not.

If you are having trouble finding a good name, try picking a title that could be used by a number of types. Such as "Operative <insert name here>". Also, keep in mind that it doesn't have to be real names, it could be something like "Nocturne".

However, play how you want to play. There are no strict rules to follow, the best advice I can offer is to just do what feels right.

So we'll see it sometime soonish.
This is great news! Hopefully this mystery patch will come out soon.
  8. I figured out why it's not working, please disregard this thread.

Thank you! Hopefully this will be hotfixed, the sooner the better.
  10. Here's a side by side comparison, you will notice the difference:

If you have trouble noticing, try going to this link:

and using prev > next on the last two images. (disregard the rest, they are other graphic bugs I've had years ago)
  11. I just bought the martial arts super booster, but I would not have done so (yet) if I knew all of the ninja hoods would look like this:

Needless to say, this is pretty frustrating. I hope this is fixed soon.

There is literally no work around for this. There is nothing I can do to prevent this graphics clipping, no matter what sliders I use. All Ninja hoods (and obviously far more graphics, as mentioned above by other players) are broken with this. Please fix it soon.

PS: The graphics bug here is so atrocious that I'm not even going to bother making this character until it's fixed. Pretty much every single item in this set is broken because of this, and looks utterly horrible. This is very disappointing. Please fix this soon...
  12. (( I thought I might add she's a real character of mine on the Virtue server should anyone ever be interested in RPing. ))
  13. This is the story of one known as Ms. Deathcircuit. Hers was a story of suffering, pain... and glory.

Dr. Lauren Davison had an American dream come true; a nearly perfect life. A college graduate in Robotics engineering; she was a master of her work for her boss, Mr. Coronadio, and her company, “Draconic, Inc. ‘Making robots do all the dirty work so you don’t have to!’”. Life was grand.

Life really couldn’t have been better. Every day, new technology discovered, and society was made all the better by the powerful world of robotics. She was constantly being promoted because of her superiority and excellence with her ability on engineering robots and cyborgs. And of course, every promotion meant more money, and that was always good.

A couple years of this passed. One day, she was offered a promotion by Mr. Coronadio, a promotion of great wealth and fortune as she never dreamed of before … but also a great, terrible truth. It was all just a masquerade for their secret underground laboratories where they worked on their dream of creating cyborg and humanoid armies to conquer the world over.

According to national law, humanoid engineering was strictly forbidden. But none of this mattered; she would have never been a part of such a diabolical plot. As kindly as she could, she declined the offer… and quit her job permanently. No real words were exchanged other than Coronadio wishing her well wherever she went, and to not tell anyone of their laboratories, which she quickly agreed to out of fear of what they would do to here… but all seemed peaceful.

Not even a week passed, Coronadio’s hit men bust down her door. One of them set off the fire alarm, busted up her home, and set up several explosives next to her larger appliances and electronics. Two physically drug her out of her home and into the car out front. It was like an art, moving almost gracefully and perfectly timed. The bombs were all set off; the home was destroyed, obliterated…

Surely, her life was over, she had thought. Some back alley she would be taken to, killed, maybe thrown over a bridge, perhaps tossed in a river with heavy iron pulling her down to a wet grave… but no. Life was not so simple… They arrived at Draconic Inc.’s main building. The one she worked at… the one with the laboratories. Was she to be given a final chance to work on it, or die?

But no answers were given. No questions asked. She was rushed to the laboratory. At this point, she had given up struggling. The three men were more than enough to keep her from escaping, and she was probably going to be given a second chance anyways… it was better than dying. As soon as she arrived down into the basements, she was greeted by a lone scientist… a surgeon. Not Mr. Coronadio… The three men quickly held her down where she could not move her right arm whatsoever. A shot was quickly taken out… they were going to kill her after all! Her life was over, she had no chance to survive, the shot was put into her, and she fell into a deep sleep…

Later, unsure how short or long, she woke up from this. Every bone in her body, every organ in her body, all her nerves… she was in greater pain than she could possibly fathom… the pain pumping through with every heartbeat. She tried to scream, but was unable to move a muscle. Suddenly, her entire body was lifted up… but not by her own control. She was greeted by a group of scientists. One of them came up to her face. “Ah, I see you’ve woken up at last. Coronadio had hoped to be able to tell you of your fate personally, but we must apologize as he’s currently tied up. So you’ll have to make do with our meager description.” A twisted grin crossed the scientist’s wicked face. “You see, your old life no longer exists. Your old home destroyed in a tragic accident… it’s on the newspapers. He reached over, showing her the daily times -- a photo of the ruins of her old home. “’Tragic accident or hidden conspiracy?’ Well, we both know what it really is!” The scientist cackled at this. “But I digress. I’m here to tell you of your new life, not your old one. You are now the first generation of the humanoid prototypes. I imagine you’re in unbearable pain…” The scientist smirked wickedly. “This pain you feel is the replacement of every bone in your body with titanium alloy, nearly every nerve a line of perfectly etched circuits. However, your healing mechanisms will most likely heal the damage by the end of the week… but until then, I do hope you enjoy it! Ha, I know you’d love to hear about your organs… you no longer have to ‘worry’ about bodily functions, no, we have more important uses for you; there’s to waste time on ‘barbaric’ things like that.” He chuckled as he said the word, ‘barbaric’. “Before we can really work on more humanoids, we need to work out all your bugs… and to do that, we need to… ‘test’ you.” The scientist grinned wickedly once again. She knew what he meant.

The next months, were ones of terror and fear. And all she could do was watch. Her body was a tool of death and destruction. She robbed banks; she assassinated men; she did countless other deeds of evil… her body a toy in the hands of the scientists and their cruel leader with her a front row seat. However, as time passed, she used the only real controllable part of her body… her brain. Day after day, all she did when she was able to focus was learn of the connection to her brain and the system inside her. After about a month, she began to be able to see the codes themselves. Months passed as she slowly peeled them apart, searching for a way to escape its grasp. Finally, she was able to break through enough coding to create a simple code-breaking program. Time passed, and she made a step forward with each consecutive program. More months passed…

It all happened in a single night. She had broken through enough coding to create a simple program… a virus. This virus would eat and destroy every file, every program binding her functions to the Draconic Inc. Mainframe. And that night, she was prepared. She’d overheard, there was to be a huge presentation that day to emphasize the most powerful cyborg model seen on the face of the planet! … all to cover up them at last creating a group of humanoids… all of them like her. Suffering daily, unable to do anything but watch as the world around them was ravaged… she was doing this for them. She was doing this for all of those that suffered… and for a deep vengeance blacker than the heart of Coronadio’s dire plans to conquer the world.

That night, upon her being placed in storage, she released the virus. It worked even more efficiently than she had imagined… everything that bound her no longer existed. All of it permanently deleted. At first, everything was so… hard to control. It was as if she was learning to walk all over again. She immediately fell over, struggling to get up, and balance herself. Her body was far stronger than it used to be, but her balance was off… partially due to the drastic change in her body, partially due to the fact she had not controlled her body in several months. Soon as she was able to keep her balance, she made her way to the munitions storage. She found all the explosives she could possibly need… in a single night, she built 20 robotic remote controlled explosive devices. They were all set up perfectly for her plans…

The next day was extravagant. Mr. Coronadio was close to realizing his goal of creating a humanoid army at last, and once he completed it, the world would be his. All the fools watching their televisions anxiously waiting for the latest model cyborg, all the while overlooking his diabolical plans to take over the world. Everything was going perfectly as planned… within a month he we would have began on his army, taking men off the street building his secret army, and within a year he’d release it… life couldn’t be better. In front of his imprudent admirers, he spoke with a concealed, yet energized tone… “Friends and family, today I offer you the newest, most powerful model in the world! Today, we offer you the greatest model of cyborgs to walk the earth, soon, within months, the world’s work will be done by machines, and no longer will we toil and suffer, stealing our labor from a poor man’s pocket. No… today is the beginning of a new era! Today, the world will change forever!!” Almost abruptly, the entire building began shaking as if a thousand earthquakes had hit the building at the same time. There were screams of terror, cries of help, but all in vain… Mr. Coronadio’s final facial expression was not one of terror, or shock, but one of sheer perplexity and regret…

On the roof of a nearby building, hidden in her lab coat, she watched, smiling… to the public, it would all be a public tragedy… a horrible loss to the scientific world… secretly covering up the horrible secrets deep within. It was ironic… no, it was… poetic…

It was almost eminent… guaranteed. Within a week, she was found in her apartment by countless policemen and an army of swat teams. It was hopeless to try to escape, let alone fight, in her current state of being unable to hardly control her body. She gave in willingly, with a smile…

Two months had passed to the day. She had kept to herself in her prison cell in the Zig. She never talked to anyone, she was in perfect solitude… it was all so easy after the previous months of mental torture. But something was different that day… an explosion was heard, it shook the prison… minutes later the entire prison was frolicking with fervent prisoners and their unfathomed ideas of escaping a life sentence. Before long, someone managed to open her cell. And so it began… a new destiny, a new fate…in her hands. In her mind, she could envision one of the tortured humanoid faces, giving a faint smile…she knew she would forever wish she had her old life, of simple smiles, and a monthly paycheck, but that would never return. No… she had no choice now but to remember her past… and embrace her future.
