So, I assume Lord Recluse has captured Statesmen and the others now? Because if Statesman wins somehow, that is TOO pro-hero.
Lets look at the facts
Hero Team:
Statesman (Injured (He is limping after that sword cut and is bent over)
Synapse (Knocked Out from ambush)
Manticore (Owned by that repitle guy and never seen again)
Positron (Owned by the controller and her big scorpion tanker buddy)
Jet Li (Sidekick (I believe, he seems lower level in experience and power (Owned like Positron)
Against
Evil Team:
Lord Recluse (Uninjured, never touched)
Big Armored Scorpion Guy (Wailing on Positron and Jet Li as they are knocked down
Reptileman (Beating the crap out of Manticore)
Gothy Controller (Due to hold) (Uninjured and helping Scorpion beat on the two or helping Lord Recluse)
Indian Katana Guy (Owned by an injured statesman, KO)
So the hero team is basically knocked out except for Positron and his Sidekick but they are badly injured if not KO'ed, and Recluse (An Arch-Villian himself) Is solo up against an injured Statesman. So I think Statesman will get a few reinforcements showing off the new powers (Sonic) before he is owned so the heroes can escape to avoid screwing up the plot.
Shows that Villians > Heroes though, haha
