You're wrong. You were either not properly taught how to communicate effectively, or you chose not to learn how to do so.

Again, you found what you wanted to find, Pilcrow.
You are not telepathic. You can infer anything you want, and still be quite wrong. It is not my job to correct your inference. It is your job not to infer anything in the first place, unless you like being wrong quite a lot.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's your job to prevent inferences. Communicating effectively would prevent incorrect inferences, and that is the sole responsibility of the person posting. -

I answered that question already, but I'll answer it again: if you think it's thread-bumping, then report it.
Otherwise, move on.

Or shuffle off to Buffalo, as it were... -

Electronite:
So you're basically saying you don't want to put your money where your mouth is.
That's fine.

LOL! What I'm basically doing is the same thing you're doing: making an inference. Please find me a quote explicitly saying that I think you were bumping the thread.

Just so you know, though, when I wish to call _Castle_'s integrity into question on a public forum, I don't pussyfoot around about it (link). I come out and say what I think directly.
Just because neither you nor Pilcrow are able to distinguish facts from opinions does not make either of your interpretations valid. It means neither of you are able to determine fact from opinion and that both of you suffer from the paranoid belief that the presentation of facts is indicative of a hidden agenda.
[/ QUOTE ]
So you've a history of calling out _Castle_, and boldly admit to such, but you take exception to someone making such an inference elsewhere when you provide no alternative motive for posting your statements.
Unfortunately for you, it's not a matter of distinguishing facts from opinions, it's the matter of why you felt it necessary to post those facts. You've not only provided no reason for why you posted what you did, you adamantly refuse to clarify your motive when asked. If the reason were innocent, why haven't you said what it is?
My question remains: If you actually posted for no reason whatsoever, could that be construed as bumping the thread? Naturally by now I don't expect an answer to this question -- at least not from you; I just want to note that you're still indignantly tap dancing around it. -
Nah, I'll just continue agreeing with Pilcrow that you were calling the integrity of _Castle_ into question on a public forum.

Electronite:
No, it would not be thread-bumping. I added something of value to the thread. I pointed out three new facts. Thread-bumping would be posting something of no actual value merely to put the post back at the top.
[/ QUOTE ]
You added "three simple facts and nothing more," but what makes them a valuable contribution to the thread? Why did you feel they were important enough to specifically mention? -
[ QUOTE ]
I stated three simple facts and nothing more. Any "subtext" you read into my post came from your own imagination; it is not supported or supportable by the text of my post.
[/ QUOTE ]
So you're claiming to have posted for no reason at all? Couldn't that be construed as thread bumping? -

Well, yeah. I'm a Blaster. -
As an addendum to this guide, I present....
A Guide to Debt-Free Raiding (Or Hami-Raiding for Cowards)
Raiding Hami is fun. Having debt is not, even at level 50. I take a certain pride in having zero debt at level 50, and I strive to maintain that state as much as I can while still being a solid contributor to raids. This guide in no way advocates standing on the sidelines waiting for a Hamidon Enhancement because one of your teammates damaged Hamidon for you. That said, here's how to raid like a coward without actually being one.
What you Need:
1) A single target attack with a range that meets or exceeds the radius of the goo around Hamidon.
2) Some manner of flight, either through a power pool or a teammate with Group Fly.
3) Phase Shift (for emergency use)
What you Do:
First, in all things not specifically addressed below, follow the guidelines presented in Tic Toc's guide. He outlines a strategy that has worked for years.
-- During the Mito clearing phase, keep the targeter targeted, but maintain a position just outside of Hamidon's goo that still allows you to hit what the targeter is aiming for. Blasters and Defenders with their snipes can do this with a few range enhancers. Use flight powers to move above the ground level perimeter to attack higher mitos and those that are close to Hamidon. While your attack is recharging, you'll have time and a good position to keep an eye out for wandering monsters or griefers. You'll also be able to spot mitos the targeter might not have noticed. Keeping yourself out of the healing bubble is not without risk, but if you stay as far from the mitos as you can while attacking, your chance of drawing aggro will be quite small.
-- During the Hold phase, again keep away from the main group of heroes. If you have a Hold power, hover high and use it at the maximum range you can. This will once again place you at least third in line for aggro behind the aggro tank and the large crowd of heroes at Hami's base. You won't be as buffed as the heroes below, but you'll be well clear of any splash damage if there happens to be a griefer quietly taunting Hami in the middle of the mob. If you don't have a Hold, vacate the goo until the attack phase begins.
-- During the attack phase, again keep clear of the main heroes. Be aware of the Request channel so that you know when things might be going bad. If the aggro tank signals a sweep, leave or hit Phase Shift and watch the show. If it looks like there'll be a mtio spawn, put yourself next to a stone pillar well in advance and get ready to Phase out. You'll want to activate Phase Shift a few seconds before you think the mitos will appear (keeping an eye on Request channel or Hami's health if you can see it will help.) When your mito shows up, move to the other side of the pillar and then directly away from Hamidon and the mitos to a better hiding place. Wait for Phase Shift to recharge, rinse and reperat. If you time Phase Shift well, odds are good that you'll live while everyone else dies.
