Havent gone into pvp alot yet. But I'd like to try.

But as far as it goes (sadly for those forums i guess) I must say I feel much better on Freedom than I did on Union.

Alot of 8 man teams on villain side in every level range. I have also the feeling that most people play better and know what they're doing while in a team. Euro servers have alot of good players for sure, I met several. But in PuGs you meet also... well you know^^

SC at peak times has like 20+ people each side, and often like 8-10 when it's early in the US. So at least even if pvp is broken I'll have a chance to give a shot and make my opinion about it.

But at the moment I really enjoy the smooth and easy leveling on my villain

Well I know there is organized pvp on Union, like events once a week or once every two week and prolly the arena is more an organized and planned thing.

I just wanted to have a taste of pvp, and jumped in SC relatively often. Half of the time it's empty. Doesnt mean you cant find one or two fights sometime, but it's not what i've been used to as a pvper in my previous mmos.

I've been starting on Freedom, and just using the /who command i can see that every pvp zone is very active, even when it's the morning in the US. Furthermore the villain side is crowded : alot of 8 man leveling teams get formed every 10 mins through the broadcast channel. Just what i was looking for, as I've been pretty sad on the villain side on Union.

On the other hand as a melee toon, I miss the fluidity of my attack chain due to a ping at 250 (vs 150 on Union). The gameplay is just a bit less fun than what i'm used to. Maybe I will play villain there and hero on Union ? Not sure yet^^

I have to go through more levels and testing there.

I just started this game 2-3 months ago, and I must say I like it much. I have leveled a bunch of toons, several past 40s. My only issue is the (relative) inactivity on villain side (making it hard to team sometime), and especially the inactivity in pvp zones. Coming from a game where I used to pvp hardcore 24/7, I just feel like I miss a part of the game.

That's why I'm considering moving to US servers. I just opened a trial account there to test the ping and see how it goes. I can see that my attack chain is a bit less fluid than what i'm used to on euro side, but i dont think it would be a huge issue for pve.

I just wanted to ask if there are any people pvping (or playing) on US servers from europe. How is the ping for you ? Is it a real issue, or nothing big ?
