Apparently there is this thing called "Real Life Offline" that I have subscribed to (unknowingly I might add) and have been signed up for a raid this evening to complete the "Wife's Birthday Dinner" mission.

It involves travelling "outside" *shudders* and a change of costume too. I expect it to be very stressful, but I shall do my best to pull all the aggro from the waiters so the rest of the team are able to finish off the desserts.

Thanks Doc, I'll get in touch tomorrow. I'm trying to make a final decision on what character to play.

Looking like I'm settling on a tanker, just need to decide which mix of CoH tanking I'll play Stone/Stone is fun so far...

I keep getting spurious SG invites from people while fighting, etc., but that's not the way I join things

I'm looking for an SG that has a similar membership to my main 'guild'( www.phoenixlegion.co.uk - pretty huge guild and mainly adult membership but only 2 or 3 of them play CoH )

I'm *coughs* over40 *coughs* so prefer not to play in a guild with teenagers, to be honest they get annoying in more than small doses. I'm a grumpy old fart and happy that way

Previously played most other MMOGs and enjoyed them, but after 6 or 7 months most of them have run their course (except UO which lasted me for 4 years). Just quit playing WoW after getting totally bored with the grind, still log into GW sometimes, and still play EVE, otherwise now just playing CoH.

I looked through the SG recruitment thread but it's a bit haphazard and a lot of it looks very out of date.

Any other old farts out there in a friendly SG that may be recruiting?

I'm happy to RP if anyone's into that, but I don't feel very superheroish at L8 I have to say
